What do you like best about Jungle Scout?
Jungle Scout is a great tool for researching your first or additional products to sell using the Opportunity Finder, Product Database and Product Tracker. It makes it easy to identify products which meet your criteria (demand, volume and more) using preset filters or customizing the filters as you like.
The web browser extension gives you valuable data and charts on indiviual listing or keywords you are researching.
Also for checking on the competion statics which is not readily available from Amazon.
The Keyword Scout, Keyword Lists and Listing Builder as well are Rank Tracker are invaluable for creating great listings which will rank higher.
There are modules to enter your product cost, shipping and other expenses to get a better picture of your P&L. For example, adding the cost of samples and software subscriptions which you cannot do on Seller Central. This will give you a truer pictue of your profitablity.
The Ad Analytics give a good picture of the effectiviness of your ads for your company or by product. As I am a new seller, I'm focused on ranking using advertising and this tool helps me keep on track.
Jungle Scout easily intregrates with Seller Center. I did have one issue where a listing wasn't syncing properly and customer support responded very quickly and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. I think I may have been able to figure out how to get it synced on my own but Jungle Scout stepped in and did it for me saving hours of time.
After an easy implementation of Jungle Scout for research, I continue to use the tool on a daily basis to monitor my product's performance, track competition and look for new opportunites.
One of the most valuable tools to me as a new seller is the the Academy. I have learned so much from watching the video tutorials availbe as a Julgle Scout subsriber. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Jungle Scout?
Jungle Scout has a Supplier Database and Supplier Tracker module that is great if it can locate your supplier in their database. Unfortunately, if your supplier is not in their database you cannot manually add a supplier which will allow you to store contact information, quotes, etc. for the supplier. I think this would be a valuable enhancement to keep all your data in Jungle Scout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
