"User-Friendly Research with Room for Growth"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Jungle Scout?

What I like best about Jungle Scout is that it brings useful product-research data into one place. The Opportunity Finder, Product Database, and browser extension make it easier to compare demand, competition, sales estimates, pricing, and review levels without checking each product manually. It is especially helpful for beginners because the interface is clean and the data is relatively easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jungle Scout?

I wish it provided clearer beginner guidance, more realistic profitability calculations including PPC and shipping, and better explanations of why a product may or may not be a good opportunity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable data for evidence-based market validation as a new Amazon seller"
5/5
What do you like best about Jungle Scout?

The depth of market data was the main reason I subscribed. As a founder building a new supplement brand for the US market, I needed to size addressable demand, benchmark competitor revenue, and understand keyword economics before committing capital to a production run. Jungle Scout delivered on all three fronts.

Specifically:

Sales Estimator and Product Database gave me directional revenue ranges per SKU that were good enough to support real capital allocation decisions. Opportunity Finder helped cross-reference demand against competition density in a way that exposed which sub-niches were realistic entry points. Keyword Scout surfaced search volume and projected PPC costs before I even opened Seller Central, which informed my ad spend modeling.

The interface is clean and the learning curve is manageable. I was extracting actionable insights within the first session. Export quality is also good enough to feed structured analysis workflows outside the platform.

For early-stage sellers making capital allocation decisions based on data rather than intuition, the annual Catalyst Starter plan returned its cost in the first week of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jungle Scout?

Two honest observations.

First, the projections are projections. The Sales Estimator returns ranges that work well for relative comparison between products but should not be read as exact financial figures. This is a structural limitation of any third-party Amazon data tool — none of them have access to the actual sales data — but newer users should calibrate their expectations accordingly. The number on the screen is a directional signal, not a ledger entry.

Second, the Starter tier has meaningful feature gaps compared to higher plans. Some of the deeper historical data and advanced filters require upgrading. That is a fair commercial decision, but a clearer side-by-side breakdown of what each tier actually unlocks would help during the purchase flow. I made my plan choice with less clarity than I would have liked.

Neither point is a dealbreaker, but both are worth flagging for buyers comparing options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clear and Effective for Product Research"
5/5
What do you like best about Jungle Scout?

I find Jungle Scout incredibly clear and really practically structured. The automatic Chrome extension is a great addition and available for free, which is not the case with many competitors. I have been using Jungle Scout for about 5 or 6 years and am really satisfied with it. The initial setup was very easy and simple, as far as I can remember. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jungle Scout?

What I would like is if one could track the development of keywords and products over a longer period. Jungle Scout could refine this a bit more. Another interesting feature would be a dedicated plan for Amazon Affiliates or Influencers, which might be available for 5 euros a month, allowing one to retrieve specific information without additional keywords. While not absolutely necessary, it would be very detailed. Additionally, it would be good if the plans were not so limited, for example to 16. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The most established Amazon Analytic tool on the market!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jungle Scout?

Back in 2020, we developed and launched our brand after doing extensive research using Jungle Scout. It was easy to get started, especially with all the available tutorials and we quickly implemented it into our workflow.

Thanks to this tool we were able to find a niche that we cared about and found an unmet need in the market. The tool allowed our team to effectively discover, learn, and launch our brand!

To top it off, we've always found their customer service to be superb. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jungle Scout?

Over the years, as a Canadian business, we found their data to be more accurate for the U.S. market. So as a general rule for us, we always cross-reference our findings with the U.S. market, which is generally a few multiples of the Canadian market, depending on the product category.
