"Intuitive, Easy Setup with Fair, Scalable Pricing"
4/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

The intuitive interface and straightforward implementation. Unlike other complex enterprise solutions, JumpCloud is easy to set up and manage. Additionally, the pricing model is very fair, allowing us to scale our seat count as the company grows without any budget surprises. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The pricing structure has become a bit more complex over the years. For very small startups or teams that only need one specific feature (like just RADIUS or just SSO), the bundled pricing tiers can feel a bit expensive compared to single-point solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Time saver and security solution all in one."
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

The user interface is easy to navigate. They are always on the edge of progress amid the ever-changing IT landscape with new integrations with other vendors. I can also deploy new devices seamlessly by creating a set of policies and software installations. You can also terminate a device, and all of this can be done from anywhere with an internet connection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Mobile device management is now a part of JumpCloud but there is some missing management pieces that could be included such as MDM for Android devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid User Management, Lacks Broad Integrations"
3.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like using JumpCloud as our primary IdP because it provides an organized set of processes for user provisioning and offboarding. Its ease of use is a standout feature, making it valuable for managing accounts across systems and handling SCIM and device management. JumpCloud also helps us with user management, device management, and security functionality, as well as connections for user activity and troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

It's not as well known across providers, so there aren't often native connections with JumpCloud, and we have to do things more manually to connect SSO/SCIM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized SSO with Superb Device Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like JumpCloud for its flexible SSO integrations with readily available SAML and OIDC Connectors and the custom connectors, which allow easy access to all enterprise applications with single sign-on. JumpCloudGo makes it even better with device-integrated passwordless logins, leading to an easier login experience for users. I appreciate JumpCloud's device-based policies that help me follow cyber governance policies by pushing them to respective devices. The SSO app connectors stand out with pre-configured details and guides, making app configuration easier. The professional services team's support during the setup was incredibly helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

I haven't really got a complete idea on SaaS management and this is yet to be figured. JumpCloud-based reports on devices should be enhanced, as they do not provide details on devices and policies enforced on them and device groups that they are part of. JumpCloud devices to JumpCloudGo enabled are not available. JumpCloud user reports do not contain manager information, instead, contain manager ID. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"JumpCloud Centralizes Access with Seamless SSO Across Mac and Linux"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

As an Operations Manager, what I appreciate most is how JumpCloud drastically simplifies our employee onboarding and offboarding. Having a single pane of glass to manage identity, SSO access to our entire SaaS stack, and basic device management across a remote team saves us countless hours. It completely eliminates the need for legacy on-prem Active Directory and makes cross-department provisioning seamless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The reporting and auditing logs could be more robust. When we go through compliance audits, pulling highly specific historical access logs can sometimes be more tedious than it needs to be. Additionally, the Mobile Device Management (MDM) features, while great for the basics, sometimes lack the deep, granular controls of a dedicated, standalone MDM platform when managing a complex fleet of hardware Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless SSO Integration with Custom API Support"
4/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like using JumpCloud to manage the IT for a company, especially for its capability to manage dynamic group access based on roles, which integrates smoothly with our SSO applications. I also really like the API because it allows me to easily build on top of JumpCloud for features that aren't natively available. The API is quite beneficial as it enables me to gain insights about user behaviors and activities by automating the gathering of large amounts of JumpCloud data, which I can then analyze with my own programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

I find some documentation and features to be ambiguous or even contradictory. Specifically, in the main support documentation regarding Google Workspace info imports, it wasn't clear whether new vs existing users would have certain attributes backfilled or not. "Streamlined User Management, Needs UI Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like JumpCloud's centralized platform for managing user identities, devices, and access control. It allows us to manage users' devices and access permissions easily. As an IT Service Desk, provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts is smoother, and managing devices across different operating systems reduces manual work, making our company more secure. The setup was smooth and user-friendly, letting us quickly create user accounts and configure policies like MFA and password requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

I think that could be improved in JumpCloud is the user interface, as some features can be a bit complex to navigate. Navigation especially in reporting and more audit logs would help IT teams to monitor user activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient User and Device Management Made Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I really appreciate JumpCloud's ability to bind user accounts and deploy policies remotely, which makes IT administration much more efficient. It significantly eases user and device management and keeps everything secure while reducing the amount of manual work the IT team needs to do. This efficiency allows us to support users more effectively. The initial setup was also easy, which made the transition smoother for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

It would also be helpful if the troubleshooting tools and logs were easier to access when we need to check device or authentication issues. Making these easier to find and use would really help IT teams resolve problems faster and make the overall experience with the platform even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Admin Tool with Scalable Pricing"
4/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I use JumpCloud for administrator purposes, and it really helps me manage multiple devices and stay organized with programs. I like that it offers a lot of features, such as remote device control, which helps me fix problems quickly, perform installation updates, manage software, and ensure security control. The time management features are also great, allowing us to schedule access policies and giving admins control over when users can log into certain systems. Additionally, I find the setup experience to be straightforward and well documented. I appreciate how JumpCloud integrates with several tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack to complete our IT and security stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Pricing can scale up very quickly. JumpCloud charges per user per month, and features may come as add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
