"JumpCloud Makes SSO and Device Management Easy in One Place"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

There are many things I like about JumpCloud, such as being able to add MS365 as a directory to take advantage of SSO with devices, spinning up RADIUS servers for multiple use cases, and the ability to manage users, desktops, and authentications from a single service, to name a few. The UI carries a familiar layout, which makes it easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Cost could be a bit more competitive, but the license cost gets you so much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient User and Device Management, Needs Better Account Merging Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I use JumpCloud for its ease of use and how straightforward a lot of its features are. It doesn't take a lot of brain power to use, which means I can carry out processes quickly and effectively. It also allows us to provision and monitor users and devices from one platform, keeping everything easy to find and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

I find the management of local accounts on JumpCloud-managed devices a bit challenging. It would be nice if it were easier to alter or merge local accounts with user accounts, especially when there are duplicates, like the same person having a local account and a JumpCloud-managed account. Currently, this process still feels a little rough. I would also like options to remotely disable local accounts directly from the UI. Additionally, if there were a way to modify or merge the accounts after assigning the user to a device, that would be beneficial too. From what I can tell, a lot of this still needs to be done via background tools, and the syntax tends to vary from machine to machine or OS to OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"JumpCloud Streamlines Identity and Device Management with Smooth SSO and MFA"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I really appreciate JumpCloud’s centralized identity and device management capabilities. It makes it seamless and efficient to manage users, devices, and access controls across different platforms. The SSO and MFA features significantly enhance security while still keeping the user experience smooth. Overall, JumpCloud simplifies IT operations and provides better visibility and control across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

While JumpCloud is a powerful tool, the initial setup and configuration can feel complex and time-consuming. Some of the more advanced features aren’t very intuitive and often require digging into detailed documentation to use them effectively. Additionally, troubleshooting can sometimes be difficult because there’s limited visibility into certain backend processes, which makes it harder to pinpoint the root cause. "Efficient Remote Management, Some Features Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I really like how JumpCloud makes managing users across multiple devices easier. You can bind one user to multiple devices, and they can access their device from anywhere without needing to be connected to a local network. The feature to wipe, block, lock, or erase a device from anywhere in the world is great for security. JumpCloud works smoothly with multiple SSO tools, which is a big plus. Additionally, the interface is very easy to set up, and having support readily available is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The recent vault feature for password management isn't fully capable compared to other password managers like 1Password, LastPass, and Bitwarden. Features for sharing or sending passwords are missing. Also, there's no capability to block extensions in Google Chrome—it only allows them, and we don't see an option to block any extensions. "A great solution for SME's looking for AD-like features without the on-prem requirement"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

Being able to manage users remotely, as well as have the best parts about AD without the downsides of an on-prem setup. The UI & overall experience is very fluid and intuitive. Client is lightweight and performant on remote devices, which is very nice. The Support & Onboarding is not aggressive, and our account manager is approachable and not pushy. Can't speak to the AI features as I don't use them, but they're certainly there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

It's a bit expensive in the upper tiers, but you do get what you pay for ultimately. A la carte feature purchasing is very useful for quickly figuring out your needs and only paying for what you use. Free trial and fair use period is also immensely useful for a SME that needs flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized IT Management with Room for Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I appreciate that JumpCloud is constantly iterating to become more of an all-in-one platform, allowing us as admins to have the most access to do our jobs from one central location. Specifically, the ability to control software access using SSO and user groups is great, and having many of our software tools being native SSO integrations makes things smoother. The MDM platform, along with the new asset management feature, tracks necessary information and lets us set device groups with rules that comply with our SOC 2 guidelines. This empowers us to control software and data access effectively through user and device groups. Additionally, the password manager is pretty good, even though it still needs some quality of life upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The password manager isn't better than or even as good as other tools available on the market and is currently the most lacking feature. The initial setup was difficult, particularly with SSO integrations for non-native software tools being time-consuming. There was also a weird glitch where devices seemed to be un-enrolling from the MDM or the agent was going inactive on devices for a while. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"JumpCloud is a true business accelerator with its visionary platform"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

The suite of tools that JumpCloud offers businesses is truly visionary. It is a collection of immediately-useful software components that help you run every part of your business, whether patching, security compliance, providing single sign-on (SSO), onboarding and offboarding new employees -- and it continues to evolve on a regular basis. Managing our Macs and Windows computers as equal citizens has been such a boost to our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

In seriousness, I do not have anything negative to say -- they are currently operating at a visionary level. Pricing is right where it should be, as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI Chatbot Support Makes JumpCloud Easy to Learn and Saves Time"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

As a self-taught IT manager, I really appreciate the AI chatbot support. It’s saved me a lot of time and made the learning curve for JumpCloud much shorter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The billing can be a bit confusing. As a very small business, I sometimes get caught off guard by the high-water mark billing, and it makes it harder to manage a small number of devices while keeping that in mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Remote control and total visibility of devices for a more employee-focused management"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

Your ability to have control over all the devices used by other company collaborators is very useful, as it allows you to see if they are active and access them remotely when the situation warrants it. I also like the way it helps maintain an environment completely focused on the employee, clearly separating personal use from work use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The most useful thing is having the control to see if the company's devices are active and to visualize if colleagues are working, and what I like the least is that the integrations with other tools tend to be somewhat complicated, because they don't give you the necessary steps to make a good connection. This happened to me with Google; I had to research on my own since all the users are there, and it would be easier to link all of them with Jumpcloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Information technology"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like that JumpCloud provides a unified platform for identity and device management, making it easy to manage users, secure access with SSO and MFA, and support multiple operating systems from a single cloud-based console. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The main drawbacks are the learning curve for advanced features, pricing as deployments scale, and the fact that some policy changes or device syncs can occasionally take longer than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
