"Effortless User Management, Minor Delays in Sync and Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

JumpCloud makes it incredibly easy to manage users, devices, and access from a single cloud platform. I love that it supports Windows, macOS, and Linux equally well — no need for separate tools. The SSO and MFA integrations work seamlessly, and onboarding/offboarding users takes just a few clicks. The interface is clean, intuitive, and well-documented, which saves a ton of time for IT and security teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

ometimes policy updates or device syncs can take a few minutes to reflect, especially on remote endpoints. The reporting features are good but could be more detailed and easier to filter for audits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Device Management with Automatic Policy Assignment"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

Manage remote devices in a central place, access management across different platforms, support Windows, macOS, and Linux from a single interface which reduces operational complexity a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

The interface and policy structure can feel complex at times, need to navigating multiple areas of the console, slow down the initial setup for new administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Console Simplifies Identity and Device Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

One console for identity, device management, SSO, MFA — no need for separate tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Device management isn't as robust as Intune, Jamf, or Kandji — lacks advanced policies. Built-in reports can be shallow; often need to export or use API for detailed analytics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and Reliable, Needs a Smoother Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I find JumpCloud really beneficial as it connects to our applications via single sign-on, which eliminates the hassle of managing multiple passwords. It also solves our device management problems and acts as a catchall for services required by our IT department, like identity management, mobile device management, and RADIUS. The services offered are necessary for every IT department. The password complexity feature is very important, and having different password policies for different users with different needs is equally crucial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

I'd like to see impossible to last added to conditional access policies. I'm also looking for a bit more robust features on mobile device management. I wouldn't use the word easy for the setup. We did have a dedicated account manager to facilitate, but I would not call the implementation easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized and Efficient Management with JumpCloud"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

I like how user and machine provisioning in JumpCloud is simple and easy to work with. The ease and speed of the process are especially valuable in a busy day-to-day, streamlining the process. Additionally, I found the initial setup very simple and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Asset management, I believe that if JumpCloud created an asset management system for inventories, it would greatly facilitate things because in the daily IT operation, we don't work only with notebooks and cell phones; we have peripherals, internet networks. If we could have this in JumpCloud, it would be of great value as it would centralize the entire IT operation. Today, asset management is very much based on desktops and smartphones. If we could add other items to users, like mice and keyboards, we could have full visibility of IT assets in one place, in addition to network items with Mikrotik, Unifi, among others. "Strong Cross-Platform Directory & Device Management for Growing Security Teams"
4/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

JumpCloud does a really solid job unifying identity and device management in a way that feels modern and API-driven. For organizations that are cloud-first and don’t want to maintain traditional on-prem AD infrastructure, it provides a clean alternative that supports macOS, Windows, and Linux in a single console.

I especially appreciate the cross-platform support and the ability to tie users to devices, policies, and SSO apps from one directory. The policy engine for password enforcement and device control is straightforward, and the conditional access capabilities are strong for organizations trying to move toward a Zero Trust model.

Implementation is also relatively smooth compared to standing up and maintaining legacy directory infrastructure. Once agents are deployed, ongoing management becomes predictable and scalable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

Like most platforms trying to be both directory + MDM + IAM, some areas feel deeper than others. Advanced MDM workflows, especially on macOS, can feel less mature than more Mac-native tools. Reporting can also require some digging depending on the visibility you’re looking for.

Pricing can scale quickly as you layer on features, especially if you are using it heavily for SSO, device management, and directory services together. Larger environments may want to carefully model licensing and feature tiers before committing long term.

Support has generally been responsive, but highly technical troubleshooting sometimes requires escalation, which can slow things down when you’re dealing with time-sensitive endpoint issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"JumpCloud Unifies Asset Management, Cloud LDAP, and SSO Seamlessly"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

What I like best is how JumpCloud unifies asset management, Cloud LDAP, and SSO into a single platform. It eliminates the need for separate tools, making it seamless to manage our hardware assets while providing secure, centralized identity access to both legacy LDAP environments and modern cloud apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

To be honest, I haven't encountered anything that I dislike. If you take the time to familiarize yourself with the platform, you get to have all your management needs unified into a single online tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Reliable SSO with Easy Slack Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

As a user, I find it pretty straightforward to use day in and day out for SSO purposes, and it’s also easy to integrate with other apps like Slack. It performs very well, and the uptime has been solid and reliable. Overall, the tool feels intuitive and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

As a user, the only area for improvement I’ve noticed—and it’s not significant—is that the UI could be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Warning about their billing scam"
0/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

The cross platform management seemed good at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

SCAMMING BILLING. Their system adds users to your account on it's own without your consent, they follow this up with "high watermark billing" for your next billing cycle. In our case, they added twice as many users that we had or needed or asked for or agreed to, and tried to bill us for an entire year based on the users their system added without our permission. It's frankly unbelievable.

When presented with this info, they confirmed their system did this on its own, and still insisted we pay for their mistake. What a joke! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient SSO and User Management That Strengthens SaaS Security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JumpCloud?

JumpCloud’s SSO, user management, and app controls are extremely efficient. I can create, assign, and manage users from a single place, and the option to approve or block specific SaaS apps has noticeably strengthened our company’s security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JumpCloud?

My main pain point has been the lack of integrations with a few tools our company relies on. JumpCloud handles the major platforms well, but some of the more niche applications we use every day still aren’t supported, so we have to manage those separately. If the integration library were expanded, JumpCloud would feel like a truly all-in-one solution for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
