## JumpCloud Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Onboarding with Minor Reporting Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nolan P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud provides zero trust access control by enforcing identity-based authentication instead of network-based trust. The cloud-native directory removes the headache of maintaining on-premises Active Directory. The automation of account creation and app access helps to cut down on manual user onboarding delays. This gives me instant onboarding confidence and was very fast to set up.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find the limited native reporting depth in JumpCloud to be lacking.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for zero trust access control and automating user onboarding, solving manual delays. Its cloud-native directory eliminates the need for maintaining on-prem active directories.

 ### 2. Jumpcloud Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damodaram M. | Lead IT Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

umpCloud has made managing users and devices much easier by centralizing everything in one cloud platform. Its support for multiple operating systems and easy integrations improve both security and efficiency. The interface is user-friendly, making administration simple for our team. Overall, it’s a reliable and flexible solution that fits our needs perfectly.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

One area where JumpCloud could improve is in its learning curve for new users. Some features and configurations can be a bit complex at first, which may require more detailed documentation or onboarding support. Additionally, pricing can feel a bit high for smaller organizations with limited budgets.

 ### 3. Easy Setup but Remote Wipe Challenges

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brett C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I liked JumpCloud because the install and setup were easy. I also appreciated the dashboard stats that let me see important details like space usage and OS versions for each phone.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I could not get the remote wipe feature to work. It just would not wipe phones remotely without their password.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for MDM on iPhones to remotely wipe phones. I like the easy install/setup and enjoy the dashboard stats showing device info like space and OS version.

 ### 4. Using Jumpcloud has made day-today work easier and timely.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamaal R. | Security Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

One of my favorite things about JumpCloud is its intuitive, all-in-one integration that seamlessly manages user identities and devices across Windows, macOS, and Linux, making IT administration easy even for smaller teams.
Other things like quality of customer support and ease of implementation are superb.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Honestly, I have not had any downside to its usage at the moment, therefore I have no dislike for it.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud solves unified identity and device management across diverse platforms. It streamlines user access to apps and systems with single sign-on (SSO). I manage Windows, macOS, and Linux devices from one dashboard. Its cloud-based approach eliminates costly on-premises servers. MFA and conditional access enhance security for remote workers. I save time provisioning users and enforcing policies. Costs can add up for larger teams, though. Overall, it simplifies IT management and boosts security.

 ### 5. Jumpcloud is Simple and Intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick R. | IT Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Jumpcloud is easy to use. The UI is easy to understand, and there is ample support documents for anything you don't know how to do. Its great that its supports Mac and Windows. I use it every day to see what computers need updates and offer remote assistance. If you need advanced help the support team is quick to respond to tickets.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

There are a few quirks with navigation of the menus but they are minor. And sometimes the remote support doesn't work properly, for instance on Mac I cant drag items for some reason.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Give me a unified way to remote into users computers. Allows me to force password changes and give standard users temporary admin rights. I can also look up what users are using what computers for inventory purposes.

 ### 6. Constant Innovation and New Features That Keep Getting Better

 ### 7. Exceptional Multi-Tenancy and Support, Minor Setup Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The multi-tenancy feature is implemented exceptionally well, making it simple to switch between different organizations and manage even complex environments with ease. The interface is highly intuitive, and JumpCloud University stands out as the best knowledge base portal I have encountered for any tool.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The challenges we faced weren't due to the tool itself, but rather stemmed from some initial difficulties with setting up the account, particularly regarding billing. Fortunately, I had a contact who assisted me in resolving these issues, and now everything is running smoothly.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is a more affordable solution for managing assets that are distributed across different locations, especially when there is no domain or VPN available for centralized management. It has been beneficial for us, as it allows us to oversee these devices at a reasonable cost.

 ### 8. Superb and Secured Device Mgt Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Desmond T. | Director of End User Services (Global), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud makes it easy to manage users, devices, and access from one platform. It’s great for setting up secure logins, enforcing MFA, and handling remote work needs. It supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, so IT teams can work across systems easily. However, some settings can be tricky to find at first, and advanced reporting is a bit limited.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

One small bug remaining on the field expiry date which cannot sync from AD to JC

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps my business by:

Centralizing user access to apps, systems, and networks — saving time and reducing errors.

Simplifying IT operations like onboarding/offboarding with automated provisioning.

Enforcing security policies (like MFA and conditional access) across all devices and platforms.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Simple Mac MDM, truly makes it easy to manage these things without having to set up a heavier solution.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The AD sync program doesnt have a good control panel, you have to like reinstall it to change anything.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

being blind to our Mac users, we have a small Mac footprint, and this is lightweight and easy enough that im glad to use it for this small amount of users. it was more of a pain we wouldnt bother.

 ### 10. Jumpcloud for IT monitoring.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prabin M. | IT Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

 ### 11. JumpCloud: A Versatile Identity and Access Management Solution with Strong Radius Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud has been a reliable solution for us, especially with its RADIUS authentication for our wireless networks. It has streamlined how we secure and manage Wi-Fi access, offering a centralized way to authenticate users. Beyond RADIUS, JumpCloud provides an impressive range of other services: remote desktop solutions, directory services, and device management. This all-in-one approach means we don’t have to rely on multiple fragmented tools. The user interface is clean and intuitive, and their support resources are helpful when setting things up or troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

While JumpCloud is powerful, there are some areas that could be improved. The initial configuration can be a bit tricky for newcomers, especially when setting up more advanced policies. Some of the integrations also take extra effort to fine-tune compared to competitors. Pricing, while fair for the value, can scale quickly depending on how many devices and services you manage, so smaller organizations may need to budget carefully.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud’s RADIUS authentication secures our wireless networks by eliminating shared Wi-Fi passwords, giving us centralized control, seamless user management, and stronger overall security.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The Password Manager is not very user friendly and confusing.

I like the ability to link users to devices, which simplifies the process of finding a device and grabbing the user to find out details about them. Simplified policies are also a feature I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

App management isn't working properly, as apps don't push correctly if they already have them installed.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minakshi S. | Devops engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud has been really helpful for simplifying identity and device management in one place. I like that it works smoothly across Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud apps without locking you into a single ecosystem. It makes onboarding and offboarding much easier by automating user access, and the built-in SSO and MFA features give a good balance of convenience and security. Since it’s cloud-based, there’s no heavy infrastructure to maintain, which saves both time and cost.Overall, it’s been most helpful in improving security, customer support, reducing admin overhead, and giving users a better login experience. It gives us that ease of implementation and ease of integration. Also the frequency of use is great.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Mac / Apple device support is not always as mature as dedicated tools. Some policies may not behave exactly as expected on macOS, or there might be delays, agent-issues, or missing fine-grained controls compared to tools like Jamf.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud has solved a lot of the problems we had around managing users and devices across different platforms. Before, identities and access were scattered across multiple tools, which made onboarding, offboarding, and enforcing security policies messy and time-consuming. With JumpCloud, everything is centralized, so new users can be set up quickly, and access is removed just as easily when someone leaves. The built-in SSO and MFA have strengthened our security while making it easier for employees to log in without juggling multiple passwords. Managing Windows, macOS, and Linux machines from one place has also been a big win, especially with more people working remotely. Overall, it’s saved us a lot of admin time, improved visibility into who has access to what, and given us more confidence that our environment is secure and scalable as we grow.

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I think the integrated knowledge base search directly inside the Admin console could be improved.

I use JumpCloud for managing authentication across retail terminals. It solves inconsistent login policy enforcement by applying centralized authentication. It also makes identity governance easier to standardize across different operational models.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Praveen S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud very straightforward to use. Signing in with a single set of credentials across different applications makes my day-to-day work easier. The MFA process is smooth and doesn’t feel disruptive, and I appreciate that I can access everything I need securely without juggling multiple passwords.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

At times, the login process can feel a bit slow, especially when MFA is required and network connectivity isn’t great. Occasionally, switching between applications requires re-authentication, which can interrupt the workflow. While these are minor, a smoother and more seamless experience across apps would make it even better.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud makes it easier for me to access all the applications and resources I need with just one login. Instead of remembering multiple passwords, I can rely on a single set of credentials, which saves time and reduces frustration. The added security of MFA also gives me confidence that my account is protected without making the process complicated. Overall, it helps me stay productive while keeping access secure.

 ### 22. JumpCloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashwani S. | Sr IT administrator, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2024

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

As a company in the Fintech industry, security, compliance, and operational efficiency are top priorities — and JumpCloud delivers on all fronts.

The platform is easy to use, with a clean and intuitive interface that simplifies user enrollment and device management. The admin console makes policy enforcement straightforward, allowing us to maintain strict security standards with minimal overhead.

We particularly value JumpCloud’s Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), which helps us meet financial industry compliance requirements and enhances our overall InfoSec posture.

The Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities streamline access to critical SaaS applications, reducing friction for users and lowering the risk of credential-related attacks. Its cross-platform device support (Windows, macOS, Linux) is ideal for our hybrid work environment, and the detailed device reporting helps us maintain visibility and control.

Integration with directory services like LDAP, RADIUS, and SCIM is seamless, and JumpCloud serves as a flexible, cloud-based directory that meets the demands of a modern, security-conscious Fintech tea

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Occasional sync issues between directory and client devices.

Passwords sometimes fail to sync, causing user login problems.

Real-time updates can be delayed, impacting policy enforcement.

Troubleshooting sync problems can be time-consuming.

Limited customization in reports and alerts for advanced InfoSec needs.

Some areas of the documentation could be more detailed

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud allows you to easily set up directory access for remote users. JumpCloud made a usually complicated process simple. That makes it easy to recommend. We needed to set up a Radius Server for remote authentication and authorizations.easily managed MDM device

 ### 23. Standardization of onboardings and management of SaaS/machines with efficient SSO

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Standardization of onboardings and offboardings, SSO with services, mapping of SaaS services that employees use, management of machines

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

the password vault is still very raw, it needs more refinement, many things only work on the mobile app and not on the browser extension

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Standardization of an IDP/MDM for all types of operating systems, environments with Linux, Windows, and Mac can be organized with business users in a much better way.

 ### 24. Great Device Monitoring, But Storage Integration Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arik P. | Head of IT & Cyber Security Division, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

It enables my IT team to monitor users' devices more effectively.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

We were unable to configure our NetApp ONTAP storage to communicate directly with JumpCloud, which forced us to purchase a local DC license as a workaround for the storage. This added significant complexity to our infrastructure.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using JumpCloud, we managed all of our company's users and devices through a local domain. This setup required us to contact users and have them come to the office whenever any changes were needed for their devices or user accounts.

 ### 25. Comprehensive Identity and Access Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dilip k. | System Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud excels in managing a variety of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. This versatility is particularly beneficial for organizations with heterogeneous IT infrastructures, allowing centralized management through a single console.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Although JumpCloud offers some remote management features, it lacks comprehensive remote tracking capabilities for lost or stolen devices. This limits administrators' ability to locate and recover devices in critical situations, which could be a concern for mobile-heavy or remote-first organizations.

zero trust security

 ### 27. OK with lots of room for improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason B. | Senior Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2024

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

ease of user management with computers and account management

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

using the admin console on iOS. It is basically unusable and very often we need to unlock an account or reset a password when we are on the go, but cannot because the console does not translate well on mobile. So we are forced to make the users wait until we gain access to a computer and log in. Jumpcloud has also released bad agent builds on multiple occasions that have halted work.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password management, but wish the MDM was a bit more intuitive as it would be game changer if it was usable. We use Jamf for our macs and if Jumpcloud was closer to that level of detail, we could use it for our Windows environment.

 ### 28. Very easy to use for all associates.

 ### 29. Essential for Unified Authentication and Easy Delegation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like how JumpCloud makes identity control easier to delegate across multiple administrators. It also helped solve security blind spots caused by disconnected authentication tools by unifying authentication tracking. The initial setup was smooth.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I don't like that there isn't a better historical comparison tool to track configuration changes over time.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for user authentication management. It solves the security blind spot from disconnected tools by unifying authentication tracking.

 ### 30. Ditch Active Directory

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Conrad S. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Easy to use, works awesome and it's not active directory which is a plus. It checks many of the boxes we need for our security policies and I am excited to see it check ALL the boxes at some point.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Pricing is a little steep for SMB and support is a little slow to respond to inquiries.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps us keep our systems secure and compliant without a lot of extra overhead. It gives us one place to manage all our users, enforce MFA and strong passwords, and make sure devices follow our security policies. The reporting and access controls make it much easier to prepare for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, saving us time and reducing mistakes. Overall, it keeps our access management organized and helps us meet compliance requirements efficiently.

 ### 31. JumpCloud: Perfect solution for AD and SSO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elwin S. | Security Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The best thing that I like about JumpCloud is that it allows me to jump between all my apps without having to individually login to each app. Saves time and efforts. It is also very security focused. I use the Jumpcloud login and Jumpclpud admin on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

There is nothing major I dislike about JumpCloud. Maybe the UI/UX design could use some tweaks to be even more user friendly,

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud gives us a single platform to sign-on to diffent apps. This saves us a lot of product hours and efforts, if you see the company as a whole. So for ex. in my 800 odd company - If each person saves 5 mins each week, that's ~65 man hours saved every single week. Thanks for that!!

 ### 32. Unifying disparate platforms finally felt achievable, thanks to JumpCloud's unexpected versatility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie M. | Workspace Operations Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The capability of our department is to have a control in the access to the specific application available to their team without requiring IT tickets every time there is a small change is amazing. It says that our marketing manager can invite a new content writer to Canva and Slack via few clicks. We also like the ease at which we can give our external consultants secure but limited access to project specific tools. This maintains everyone in a productive state and our internal systems safe.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Configuration of new single sign on apps can be a bit less user friendly at times, especially when setting up custom SAML fields on the more arcane applications. We would like to have more detailed application run-down and looking more closely at trends in application access. This would allow us to find possible layout or odd user behavior rather rapidly

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were sinking with assorted user accounts and varying access to our cloud apps in an expanding variety. No matter what team or project I used, the hour was spent trying to remember email addresses to send manual invites from, and what email to log in to each service with. The new employees can now acquire immediate access to their key tools, based on their JumpCloud identity. This has saved a lot of valuable time of our operating team so that they spend time on other growth activities rather than spend discoursing on access.

 ### 33. It is imported for security

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish R. | Manager HR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

JumpCloud is popular because it simplifies IT management and security, especially for small and mid-sized businesses
1.	Centralized Identity & Access Management (IAM)
2.Device Management Without Heavy Infrastructure

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

•	Sync issues: Delays or failures in syncing passwords and policies.
	•	Basic reporting: Limited analytics and alerting features.
	•	Weak MDM features: Not as strong as Jamf or traditional AD.
	•	Cost creep: Gets expensive as you scale.
	•	Support gaps: Slow or inconsistent support and outdated docs.
	•	UI quirks: Some find it cluttered and unintuitive.
	•	Bugs: Occasional agent failures, device unenrollment issues.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized user management – One place to manage logins and permissions.
	•	Device management – Control Windows, macOS, and Linux devices remotely.
	•	Single Sign-On (SSO) – Easy access to multiple apps with one login.
	•	Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Better security for users and data.
	•	Cloud directory – No need for on-prem Active Directory servers.
	•	Scalability – Easier to manage growing teams, especially remote ones.

 ### 34. Powerful Device Management, SSO, and Password Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

User and hybrid device management
Password manager
SSO

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Sometimes we struggle with JumpCloud agent on a device. Onboarding new users takes a bit more time than we expected and involvement of IT team. We're working on identifying common issues in order to improve our process or request support from JumpCloud

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have introduced JC in order to resolve some of the requirements from ISO27001.

 ### 35. Seamless Access Control, Efficient and Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatrice L.

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud has no dependency on legacy infrastructure and the initial setup is fast. I also appreciate its secure API access control by tying the service account to identity-based authentication, and the enforcement of least privilege access across the system, which helps address inconsistent admin privilege.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think JumpCloud could really benefit from having simpler policy templates for common security and access scenarios.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps by securing API access and tackling inconsistent admin privileges through enforcing least privilege access, without needing legacy infrastructure.

 ### 36. Convenient SSO Integrations That Centralize Authentication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The built-in integrations with a variety of different SSO applications make it incredibly convenient to connect our different services to authentication from a single, central location.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The logging/reporting does leave a bit to be desired, while you can find SSO attempts/failures etc these often aren't easily correlated to a specific application or service.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SSO on all of the things, price point per user and application specific permission sets (AWS IAM).

 ### 37. Incredible Game Changing Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan A. | Manager Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2023

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

We deeply appreciate the versatility that Jumpcloud provides. The software utilization and simpleness makes it our best resource for our remote employees across the country!

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

its not that we do not like anything about jumpcloud. Using Chocolately took some time of investment in order to learn that tool. After a bit it became easy to use! so the interface between apple and jumpcloud is amazing. Between jumpcloud & windows is a little more time consuming but still useful!

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing all of our devices! We struggled to access and manage all of the software updates with the various devices we had across apple, windows and linux! so this was an absolute game changer. Central control makes our lives easier and simplifies workflows to save our time to focus on more important business demands

 ### 38. Streamlined Kiosk Management, High Recommendations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like the centralized control that JumpCloud offers without needing physical server maintenance, which simplifies IT operations for me. The initial setup of JumpCloud was smooth.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I want faster identity sync feedback so admins instantly know when updates are fully applied.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for secure login control, solving access management for rotating device users with identity-based login. It provides centralized control without needing physical server maintenance, simplifying IT operations.

 ### 39. Centralized Management, Easy to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peru P.

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really appreciate how JumpCloud provides a centralized platform for managing devices, which replaces the need to use multiple platforms. This is particularly helpful as it allows for managing a variety of operating systems such as Macs, Windows, and Androids in one place. The centralized approach simplifies our operations significantly. Furthermore, I find JumpCloud easy to use, making the management process straightforward and efficient. This ease of use, combined with the centralized management capability, truly stands out and makes me more inclined to choose JumpCloud again.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I found it somewhat challenging to start with JumpCloud as we needed to devise a method for creating kiosk modes, which was not straightforward.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for centralized device management across different platforms, simplifying what was previously handled by multiple platforms.

 ### 40. Intuitive Interface That’s Easy to Work With

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

At the moment, there’s nothing I dislike.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SaaS management is excellent. We now have better inventory tracking, as well as clearer accounting for our software.

 ### 41. Simplified Management with Easy UI, Some Setup Hurdles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I appreciate how simple and easy the dashboard is to use in JumpCloud. I love the auto integration to Apple Business Management.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Some of the setup was a bit complicated. It was hard for me to connect Apple to the MDM management and set up some of the user accounts.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps with device management, access management, and installing software directly on devices.

 ### 42. Efficient Authentication Management with Quick Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaiah F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I like that JumpCloud reduces the risk associated with identity misalignment across systems, which helps in maintaining consistent access between physical offices and remote environments. Also, the initial setup of JumpCloud was fast, which I appreciated.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I wish there was a clearer lifecycle indicator for temporarily or conditional access users.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud ensures consistent access by applying uniform identity rules and reduces risk associated with identity misalignment across systems.

 ### 43. Jumpcloud Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Venkatesh Y. | System Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

1. Unified Directory Platform (Cloud Directory-as-a-Service)
JumpCloud acts as a single identity source for users across Windows, Mac, Linux, SaaS apps, networks, and more.

You don't need to maintain on-prem Active Directory — it's like a modern AD replacement.

"No more AD + Azure AD + Okta Frankenstein setups."

2. Cross-Platform Device Management
Native support for Windows, macOS, and Linux — unlike many competitors.

Lets you enforce security policies, scripting, patch control, etc. from one dashboard.

3. Zero Trust Security Approach
Built-in MFA, conditional access, password rotation, and SSH key management.

Good fit for distributed teams or remote-first orgs.

4. Easy Integration with Popular Tools
Pre-built integrations with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, and hundreds of SSO apps.

LDAP, SAML, RADIUS — all included.

5. No VPN Needed
JumpCloud’s cloud RADIUS and SSO allow secure access to apps and networks without needing a traditional VPN.

6. Cloud-First, Lightweight Deployment
Agent-based, cloud-native — no heavy on-prem infrastructure needed.

Perfect for growing orgs, MSPs, and startups.

7. Free Tier and Transparent Pricing
Generous free tier (10 users/devices) and clear, predictable per-user pricing.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Limited Group Policy and Advanced Device Management Features

JumpCloud’s device management isn’t as deep as traditional Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

Some admins find it less flexible for complex device configurations.

User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Issues

The admin console can feel cluttered or unintuitive at times.

Navigating nested menus and settings might slow down workflow, especially for new users.

Sync and Propagation Delays

Policy changes or device syncs sometimes take several minutes to apply, which can be frustrating when troubleshooting.

Learning Curve for Complex Environments

Managing hybrid environments with multiple OS types and SaaS apps can get complicated.

Some features require scripting or manual configuration, especially on Linux.

Limited Native Reporting and Audit Capabilities

Built-in reporting and audit logs are often seen as basic.

Organizations needing advanced compliance reporting might need third-party tools.

Pricing for Larger Organizations

While there is a free tier, scaling up can become costly compared to some competitors.

Features like cloud RADIUS and certain integrations add to the cost.

Limited Offline Capabilities

Since it’s cloud-based, devices need periodic internet access to sync policies and credentials.

This can be a challenge in environments with unreliable connectivity.

Linux Management Requires More Manual Effort

Although supported, Linux device management isn’t as seamless as Mac/Windows, often requiring command-line work.

Integration Gaps

While integrations are broad, some niche or legacy apps might not be supported directly.

Support and Documentation

Some users report that support response times and documentation can be lacking in detail for advanced troubleshooting.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplified IT management: One platform to handle identity, access, and device policies instead of juggling multiple disconnected tools.

Cross-platform support: Manage Windows, macOS, and Linux devices seamlessly from a single console.

Improved security: Enforce multi-factor authentication, password policies, and conditional access easily.

Remote workforce enablement: Securely provide users access to apps and networks without requiring VPNs.

Faster onboarding/offboarding: Automate user provisioning and deprovisioning across systems, reducing IT overhead.

Scalability: Cloud-native design means you can grow or shrink without investing in on-prem infrastructure.

 ### 44. Great SSH Key Management with SSO, But Interface Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The feature we rely on most is the ability to keep our SSH keys on the jump host synchronized with SSO. This functionality has significantly reduced the amount of manual work required in our process and has helped us maintain compliance.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

There are two separate logins or interfaces for admin and regular users, which can be confusing. I also noticed a strange glitch: if a password isn’t set before enabling federation for a user, their passwords won’t sync properly. Overall, I find the interface as a whole is not particularly user-friendly.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform offers features for managing user access, including adding and removing users, as well as ensuring security compliance. These capabilities help maintain control over who can use the system and support adherence to security standards.

 ### 45. Unified Identity Authority with Fast Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan h.

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud improves operational consistency during IT expansion and keeps the identity structure stable. I think the initial setup was fast, which I really appreciated.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think JumpCloud could be improved with a more intuitive naming and labeling system for policies and configuration.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps manage user access across multiple locations by providing a unified identity authority, simplifying identity management and improving operational consistency during IT expansion.

 ### 46. Effortless Device Management and Security Enhancement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like how JumpCloud manages user accounts and MFA to improve security. It makes it easy to onboard and offboard users. The setup was easy since directions were provided.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The dashboard recently had an update and it could use a better graph tool to see the incoming incidents.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud simplifies enrolling and onboarding/offboarding devices, manages user accounts, and enhances security with MFA.

 ### 47. One platform with zero complexity and time saving tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** abhishek v. | Operation Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that I don't need to switch between different tools to get things done. Everything is available in one place, which saves time and keeps things organized. Plus it supports all the main operating systems so it fits well into our work environment.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

If I had to point out something, I'd say the initial setup can feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you are new to cloud based directory tools. It takes a little time to understand the full range of features. But once it's set up, it runs really smoothly.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As business grows, handling operations becomes complicated. with jumpcloud, it has made my work a lot easier. Here data is stored and everything is in one place. It's simple, secure and works smoothly from my trusted device. I don't have to waste time switching between different apps or tools anymore.

 ### 48. Jumpcloud a better access service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

If you are in the it industry and have the use case of access management for users and devices.
It is very easy to use to access and implement it. Integration is also very easy as you just need to add the jump cloud services in the server and you are good to go. We use jumpcloud very frequently as it is implemented all of our enviorments. Customer support is also easy to reach and understands if required.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The UI is easy to understand but takes some time to get into it.
It is a cloud based service so can be difficult for full on premessis implementation.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jumpcloud is a great replacement for old access management tools as it replaces the complex implementation of old tools.

 ### 49. Intuitive and Innovative, But Some Features Need Refinement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor T. | Director of I.T., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 20, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

In most situations JC is intuitive and simple. In addition, JC is alway providing updates and sharing beta options for new features that continue to keep it in close competition with other similar software.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud, like most solutions, has its quirks. For example, not being able to use custom fields for building out logic within groups is a nuance. The ancillary tools such as JumpCloud Password Manager also has unique behavior that I believe, if improved, could help the overall ease of use.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A nice all-in-one IT tool for admins.

 ### 50. JumpCloud Cloud Directory Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** BALA S. | Team Lead in Infrastructure Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Ease to intergrate with Existing Directories (Microsoft and Cloud Directories)
Got very good customer Support for quires
Device Management has bundle of feature includes Code Execution, Remote Login, etc.
User authentication implementation was ease with SSO

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Some cases JumpCloud Password management application take more time to sync. Which is hard to relay and wait.
