## JumpCloud Reviews
  ### 1. Clean Layout, Easy Navigation, and Smooth System Enrollment

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

It has a good layout and is fairly easy to navigate. We have had few issues, and it's easy to enroll new systems.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The issues we have encountered are primarily from the software rollout, mainly due to our failure to update the software file, so the problem is not with JumpCloud.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it in an educational environment to help manage the limited number of Windows and Mac devices that the staff has.

  ### 2. Easy to Use and Intuitive—Quick to Learn and Start Improving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Easy to use and very intuitive. I hadn’t used it before rotating into another role, but I was able to pick it up quickly, start using it right away, and make improvements.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I wasn’t a big fan of some of the recent menu UI updates or their frequency. I get that they’re trying to make the app even easier to use, but I was still a bit resistant to a few of the changes they introduced.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’ve been working toward CMMC and CMMC 2 compliance, and Jumpcloud has helped us with many parts of that effort. Even the consultants we’ve worked with were relieved once they learned we were using it.

  ### 3. Can't believe people use AD servers

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel N. | DevOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The fact that its LDAP in the cloud and I do not have to manage a PC in the corner of the server room

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Sometimes the GUI is a bit buggy. The loggining can be incorrect sometimes too, these are minor issues that probably only affect me

**Recommendations to others considering JumpCloud:**

10000% better the AD

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most definitely streamlines onboarding of new users. Create and account, SSO, and MFA.

  ### 4. Effective Identity Management with Room for UI Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kris T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud fairly easy to use. Over the years that we've been using it, I've seen a fair number of improvements that have made the platform even better. It's allowed us to do more and have more enterprise features, which has made JumpCloud itself easier to use.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Sometimes the admin interface is really difficult to navigate and understand. Our devices get disconnected from the JumpCloud server, and our users are unable to log in, and then we're unable to recover their account.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud allows us to configure company devices and manage identity easily. It's fairly easy to use, with improvements over the years enhancing the platform and letting us do more enterprise tasks.

  ### 5. Comprehensive Access and Device Management with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cia C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really appreciate JumpCloud's ability to integrate with a multitude of third-party applications, which significantly assists us in managing user access effortlessly. The setup process is quite straightforward, making it easy for us to integrate various tools. I find the remote access feature particularly valuable as it allows us to remotely manage devices without the need for additional third-party tools. This has simplified our operations since we no longer require separate software to perform remote tasks. Additionally, the patch management functionality is incredibly helpful, enabling us to handle updates and patches directly from JumpCloud, which was previously handled by another platform. The comprehensive nature of JumpCloud allows us to manage our active directory, user access, and devices all in one place, eliminating the need for multiple applications. This makes the platform very efficient for our team.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find it inconvenient that with JumpCloud, I can't run multiple commands simultaneously to several devices. Currently, if I want to execute more than one command across multiple devices, I have to run each command separately, which is time-consuming. It would be much better if I could select a list of devices and apply multiple commands to them all at once. Additionally, the reporting feature is lacking in terms of customization. I often struggle to find report types that suit my specific needs, and having more custom reporting options would be beneficial.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for seamless user access management and device management, streamlining the onboarding and offboarding processes. Its SSO and integration capabilities enhance user experience, while remote access and patch management boost our operational efficiency.

  ### 6. A powerful all-in-one platform that simplifies IT management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariyam F. | Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like how JumpCloud simplifies identity, device, and access management into one platform. It feels impactful because it directly helps IT teams work smarter and more securely.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Like any growing platform, JumpCloud can feel a bit complex at first, especially for new users. But that also comes from how powerful and feature-rich the product is.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud solves the problem of managing users, devices, and access across different systems from one place. That makes work more efficient, secure, and less time-consuming for teams like mine.

  ### 7. Good IAM

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suresh A. | Associate MAnager - IT Cloud and Infra, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

user device management and remote wipe capablities are good and user provision and deprovison

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

UI is too clumsy and some time not viewable on small screen

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solves remote user onboarding

  ### 8. Smooth solution for user management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie V. | IT Systems Administrator, Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like JumpCloud most about the ease with which users are managed on our platforms. I use it a lot, so the usability is quite beneficial. It has features sufficient enough to deal with identity, devices and simple security checks. We connected it to Google Workspace and Slack to have new accounts synced. Once it was implemented, it simply became part of our workflow and saved us time per week.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The issue with this is most concerning to me because I find it difficult to experiment with policies due to the fact that some of the settings are fixed. I am in the platform all the time, and restrictions are felt very quickly. There are parts that appear to have been half-constructed. Customer support is not always quick, but reliable, and it slows down some of our rollouts. It increases the length of projects which are supposed to be faster.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to JumpCloud, access was handled haphazardly across apps but now we can handle it in just a single stream of consciousness. I spend a lot of time in it and it is easy to use. Associating it with Google Workspace made our onboarding processes more streamlined. The features assist in minimizing minor problems that consumed time in the past. It has made our daily task at work a lot easier.

  ### 9. A Cloud-Based Active Directory Replacement That Removes Barriers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefano S. | IT Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I liked that it works as a cloud-based Active Directory replacement, and not only that, but its also a very useful tool for invoice consolidation. I also liked that it provides a common language regardless of the operating system, which is why its been so successful. We not only saw fewer closed tickets, but we also removed many barriers to getting everything working perfectly.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

So far, so good. Sure, I’ll admit not everything is perfect, but it works, and that’s exactly what we wanted.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s been very good, especially in our environment. It benefits us enormously thanks to its agility in unified endpoint management and password enforcement, and so far it has been excellent. I hope it continues this way.

  ### 10. User-Friendly MDM with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** preston S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like how simple and easy the interface of JumpCloud is. I really like how involved the team is too. The support team is very helpful and able to help troubleshoot and increase our efficiency. It's valuable for remote support and connecting with users, allowing us to see the specs and health of our Macs.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

One thing that I think JumpCloud could be better with is the hybrid AD join. We're trying to incorporate that into our environment, and it just seems to not work.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud solves our MDM needs, manages inventory, offers remote support, and helps us connect with users. It's useful for seeing Mac specs and health, similar to Jamf.

  ### 11. Effortless IT Management with JumpCloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** md zishan a. | IT ADMIN, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Like that, JumpCloud makes user and device management really simple. Features like Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, Linux) save a lot of time. It’s also cloud-based, so I don’t need on-prem servers, which makes it super convenient for remote work.
I really like how easy it is to use and implement. The interface is clean, and I can manage users, devices, and apps all from one place. Features like SSO, MFA, and patching save a lot of time, and integrations with tools like Google Workspace and Office 365 work smoothly. Their customer support is also helpful whenever I get stuck.

My primary role when using JumpCloud:
IT Admin / IT Support – mainly handling user management, device security, and software updates.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The only thing I’d point out is that some advanced features take a little time to learn, but once you get used to them, they work really well. In a way, it’s more about the learning curve than a real drawback, and it actually helps me build stronger IT skills.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

umpCloud is helping me solve problems around user management, device security, and centralized access control. Earlier, handling multiple systems and logins was time-consuming, but now with SSO and IAM, I can manage everything in one place. It also enforces password policies and MFA, which improves security across the organization. Remote support and patching are easier too, saving time and reducing risks. Overall, it benefits me by making IT admin tasks faster, more secure, and less complicated.

  ### 12. My personal review on jump cloud

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Celestine R. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud provides a centralized hub for efficiently overseeing both users and their devices. It delivers seamless connectivity with other tools, easy-to-use APIs for developers, and enables organizations to implement multi-factor authentication and security rules quickly, all without unnecessary complexity

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

One observation about JumpCloud is that its interface may initially seem somewhat complicated, especially when managing numerous users or policies. Some of its advanced functions require a learning curve, and the documentation may not cover every detail thoroughly. Nevertheless, once familiar with the platform, it becomes reliable and stable for ongoing use

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud offers a cloud-based solution for managing identities and devices without the need for on-premises infrastructure. It streamlines user provisioning, strengthens security through multi-factor authentication, and simplifies access management across various applications. This approach has saved time on manual configurations, improved security protocols, and facilitated a smoother onboarding process for new employees

  ### 13. Seamless Onboarding and Robust Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** julie O.

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I really appreciate how JumpCloud integrates with many applications, which makes the onboarding process seamless. We have been able to integrate it with our HR application, Google Workspace, and various third-party applications, which significantly eases our processes. The seamless integration facilitates synchronization of users from Google Workspace to JumpCloud, ensuring efficient management of our cloud directory. This ability to manage devices, user endpoints, and integrate smoothly streamlines our operations. Moreover, JumpCloud's comprehensive documentation made the initial setup process very easy for our team, as we could simply follow it to get everything configured properly.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I'm currently looking for identity governance features in JumpCloud, but they are not available. Specifically, I need RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) metrics to clearly see which users have access to specific applications and understand their roles within each system. This feature would greatly enhance our ability to manage identities and roles within our organization.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud to manage user endpoints and streamline onboarding and access revocation. Its integration with HR applications makes the onboarding process seamless.

  ### 14. Effortlessly Manage with Enhanced Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Belicia A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud has remote assist for users, making it easier for us compared to previous tools. It's great how we can do everything within JumpCloud now, like automating the password manager installation and requests with commands, and integrating it with our ticketing system. Everything is automated, which is super helpful. JumpCloud's ability to integrate with many apps simplifies managing access and automating access requests through automation tools. Plus, setting up JumpCloud was simple and easy, which was a nice surprise.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

As SSO is integrated, I am hoping to see the user access matrix or RBAC, IGA features. It would make it easier for us to do the audit.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud simplifies endpoint management, centralizes access through SSO, and integrates apps for easy management. It automates password management and integrates with our ticketing system, making processes more efficient.

  ### 15. JumpCloud has streamlined the process to daily logins and optimised security in the process.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aslam M. | Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Every single day, I use JumpCloud to manage all of my work application logins, And I do feel like I have won the biggest prize, I don’t have to memorize more than one password, one login takes care of everything. I feel comfortable more than ever with MFA, and I appreciate that it does not slow me down. I can resume work on any device and my access is super convenient which is nice.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Like any application, the admin console can feel a tad too complicated at times. The same applies for attempts to add new users or change settings for a given policy. Changes being synced across all apps, given my experience, does not happen in real-time which causes delays. Unlike the mobile application, which is relatively smoother on the PC interface, could use a bit more polish. There is also the issue of access problems, which in my opinion, probably could be resolved quicker.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, I have thanks JumpCloud for not only making me dread multi-factor-authentication, but also for eliminating the cumbersome separate logins. It gives me peace of mind that I have to spend less time during a day for password resets and, more importantly, that our data is secure. It is simply one less thing to worry in a busy day.

  ### 16. Comprehensive IT Management with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph C. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I appreciate how broad and versatile JumpCloud is, as it offers a comprehensive suite of features including MDM, password management, patch management, software management, and SaaS management. The platform functions as a one-stop shop for my IT infrastructure needs, making it possible to consolidate various functionalities without having to purchase multiple different products. This integration supports a seamless IT backbone and automates tasks like on and offboarding, greatly enhancing efficiency when departmental changes require different access levels. I love that JumpCloud includes asset management, which I am planning to implement soon. The ease of setup for many features that do not require coding or technical knowledge is particularly beneficial, and I value the dependable support for more technical tasks such as application integration or script deployment. The onboarding and setup process was also streamlined thanks to support from JumpCloud's success manager, who helped plan and facilitate the implementation process. Lastly, JumpCloud eliminated the need for additional licenses by including functionalities like a password manager, offering cost savings and simplicity.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find that some features in JumpCloud are not fully fleshed out and could use improvement. Specifically, the software catalog could be enhanced. Currently, it is limited in terms of the number of apps it includes, and there isn't an easy way for me, as an administrator, to add apps that my organization uses and would like to see in the catalog.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud to streamline IT infrastructure, automating onboarding and department transitions, eliminating the need for multiple products, and reducing costs while maintaining flexibility with broad capabilities.

The cross-platform support for Mac and Linux is superior to traditional alternatives.

Additionally, their support staff has helped us a lot and they respond effectively when tickets or support cases are generated. This makes the process more manageable and efficient.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

It has been observed on some occasions consumption with some versions of Mac OS, which is the operating system of the MacBook Pro or the IMA machines, and yet this has been addressed with the provider and, well, we have worked hand in hand to resolve it.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps deploy security policies regardless of the team's location. It serves as a model for authentication and management of external teams, facilitating the management of remote teams and simplifying their communication.

  ### 21. Reliable and Developer-Friendly Cloud Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kagitha R. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

What I like best about JumpCloud is how easy it makes managing users and devices from a single platform. As a developer, I really appreciate the smooth integrations with different tools and the straightforward APIs—it saves a lot of time when setting up authentication and access controls. The MFA and security policies are simple to configure, which gives me confidence that everything is secure without adding extra complexity.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The main drawback I’ve experienced with JumpCloud is that the UI can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when managing a large number of users or policies. Some advanced features also have a learning curve, and documentation could be more detailed in certain areas. That said, once you get familiar with it, the platform works reliably.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud is solving the challenge of centralized identity and device management without the need for on-premise infrastructure. It simplifies user provisioning, enforces secure authentication with MFA, and streamlines access control across multiple applications. ### 29. User-Friendly, Expanding Tool with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud to be a very competent alternative to Microsoft AD, as it is user-friendly and continually expanding in functionality and features. The customer support has been very pleasant to work with, and our account and technical manager teams are great. Getting started was pretty seamless, and we've been able to continuously advance and get more out of it.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I think the password reset or encryption functionality via the mobile admin could be better. It should be a basic feature that's easy for admins to use on the mobile tool. Also, I really wish the asset management could automatically pull in device and warranty data from brands like Lenovo, which would really help in managing our device fleet and planning needs.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud as a centralized user and device management platform for my team, making it our primary MDM management platform.

  ### 30. I really like using JumpCloud.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The GUI is very easy to use and fairly intuitive. The macOS agent seems to be robust and performant.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Sometimes the console lags and you have to reload in order to manage resources properly. macOS application maintenance is also a weak point.

**Recommendations to others considering JumpCloud:**

JumpCloud is great but it still has some rough edges. If you have a team that can help with onboarding (writing scripts, configuring SSO, etc.) then JC is great. If you are looking for a click-and-done solution you might do better looking elsewhere.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are managing our fleet of macOS devices as well as a user directory and SSO for our various vendor applications.

  ### 31. Easy Cross-Platform Device Management with Helpful Support

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps us manage our devices, ensuring they are secure and configured according to our needs.

  ### 32. Powerful Access Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshuman T. | Site Reliability Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

It's a solid SSO(Single Sign On) solution that lets us access AWS, Gitlab, Instana, Rancher, Snyk and more from one place
SSH/ RDP access to servers is seamless, just upload your public key and access is handled by your Jumcloud user
Group-based access control is very handy, making it easy to manage who can access what.
It also supports GitLab repo access delegation, with group-based visibility.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The UI and investigation can be confusing at first, especially around groups and access rules.
The learning curve is noticeable if you're setting things up or managing more complex permissions
Some settings are buried or not obvious until you go digging.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It aces as a cental SSO platform, giving us one place to manage access to AWS, Gitlab, Rancher, Instana, Snyk and other tools
SSH access is managed using public keys linked to Jumpcloud users, which simplifies key rotation and removes the need to maintain keys manually
Access control is clean and scalable, users and resources are grouped and access is granted based on these groups.
Helps with onboarding and offboarding, adding or removing access to systems takes minutes.
We can Gitlab Repo access through Jumpcloud, no need for manual invites.
Makes compliance and auditing easier since everything is managed and tracked centrally.

  ### 33. Comprehensive Active Directory with Smooth Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juli J.

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I find JumpCloud to be incredibly comprehensive for managing active directory, which allows me to handle our SaaS directory and endpoints with ease. The integration capabilities make managing user devices straightforward, particularly during updates, simplifying our operations. I appreciate the device management features that are part of JumpCloud, which enhance our ability to maintain control over various devices. The initial setup was seamless, even with integrations from platforms like Google, making it user-friendly from the outset. This ease of setup is particularly valuable as it streamlines the transition and maintenance processes within our system.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

I find the reporting features in JumpCloud somewhat limited and would appreciate more customization options. This would allow me to tailor reports to better meet my specific needs.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for managing active directory, SSO login, and endpoint management, making it easier to handle SaaS applications, device management, and updates, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes through integration with Omni HR.

  ### 34. JumpCloud simplifies managing logins and security, making it straightforward and dependable.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo R. | Senior Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The best thing I find in JumpCloud is how it creates a single secure login that combines everything. I’m not required any more to juggle dozens of bookmarks and remember 20 different passwords. Just one passphrase I use to get into all my apps. And multiple factors, password rotation, and role mapping don’t make me think twice about the security of the access but without being overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Sometimes outages are just annoying since they bring my entire workflow to a standstill. Last month, for example, an all-day downtime caused real disruption across business apps. The support can sometimes be slower than I would like, especially in comparison to some of the bigger players in the IAM space. The mobile MFA app can also just feel a bit buggy at times, which makes me really nervous since it's so central to my login process.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud has freed me from password fatigue, enhancing both my productivity and my security and certainly by not worrying about shadow IT or poor password practices, I confidently can give my team a single platform that spans desktops, VPNs, and cloud apps. It’s gotten us to our SSO and IAM goals without a cobbled-together set of tools.

  ### 35. The jumpcloud is easy to use. Most useful for IT industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pratik k. | Infrastructure Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

It simplifies IT management by offering a centralized solution for user identity, device management, and security policies across different operating systems. I especially appreciate its ease of deployment, intuitive interface, and seamless integration with tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and various SSO applications. Features like Zero Trust security, remote device management, and automated onboarding/offboarding are incredibly useful. Overall, JumpCloud helps streamline IT operations while enhancing security and user experience.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Nothing else, because this was really helpful.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

his eliminates the need for multiple tools and simplifies administration, especially in remote and hybrid environments. It’s helped me manage users and devices more efficiently, enforce consistent security policies across platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux), and streamline onboarding/offboarding processes. The result is better productivity, improved security, and reduced operational overhead.

how it manages user identities and devices, it is easy to use. It also has a strong security posture without traditional VPN dependency.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

SSO App catalog is small, and also it has some bugs for MacOS/Apple enviroments.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All-in-one identity cloud based.

  ### 38. Easy-to-Navigate UI with Powerful Cross-Platform Device Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The UI is easy to navigate, it offers many features to managing your devices, both for Mac and Windows. The administrative part of the job and deploying the agent is relatively straightforward.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

It could take some trial and error when it comes to deploying 3rd party apps through JumpCloud... remote commands, especially longer ones, take longer to deploy and could delay testing. We had some issues with agents stop communicating with the management console and had to do a full uninstall and install to get online again. When you run a fully remote business - that could be proven challenging.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

remote MDM, managing laptop fleet

  ### 39. Cost-Efficient IAM with Device Management, Needs Uptime Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautham Gurudatta S. | Principle Engineer - Enterprise Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2023

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I like that JumpCloud is a cost-efficient alternative to a pure IAM solution as it provides device management along with IAM capabilities. The initial setup was frictionless, and we managed to bring in a lot of automations.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Recent outages in the platform.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JumpCloud for identity and access management, device management, joiner mover leaver processes, and cybersecurity tasks like patch policies and device hardening.

  ### 40. JumpCloud made compliance policy deployment across our devices surprisingly simple

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex D. | Access Governance Analyst, Machinery, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

I am a big fan of the way JumpCloud works with our mixed Mac and windows workstation environment on the part of device policies. It ensures that the machines of all of our creative team are patented to meet certain security baselines, such as creating time outs on screen locks or disk encryption. We also take advantage of its secure LDAP integration, and use it extensively to authenticate users to our on premise network attached storage and render farm software. Such centralization radically simplifies the control of access to our valuable production factors.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The policy deployment status is at times slower to update post a workstation reboot than I would like, however, causing immediate troubleshooting to be a little less efficient. I also would like to see the coverage of particular hardware health metrics of our high performance creative machines to be more detailed to facilitate proactive maintenance. Also, it will be a nice addition to have a stronger self service portal where users can safely adjust limited local machine settings.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest struggle was to standardize security posture across all our unique creative workstations particularly where there was a mix of employee and contractor devices. Prior to JumpCloud, it took a manual check a long time to ensure that all machines were set up with the appropriate firewall settings, software that was required to be installed, and encrypted. Today, with the single device management of JumpCloud, we can automatically propagate such settings and ensure that all the fleets comply. This has provided us with a lot more confidence on our security position and has provided a significant simplification of our project preparedness.

  ### 41. Simple, Clean Design with Broad SSO/SAML Integrations and Strong MDM Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

Simple clean design, broad intergrations for SSO and SAML apps including custom SCIM and some really good features that are not well refined by other MDM and IDP providers

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Platform stability and inconsistencies when deploying apps through app catalogue. Some well known features that are available with other competitor have not been made available in JumpCloud for a very long time e.g. Self Service App Catalogue.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cross platform support and ability to run custom scripts right away. AI features assist with asking questions and finding the information right away than clicking on multiple pages. AI assisted command/script features is great to have.

  ### 42. Easy, Secure VM Access Management with JumpCloud

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

JumpCloud makes it very easy to manage access to our VMs in a consistent and secure way. We've been able to restrict access to only via SSH keys, and the deployment takes very little time.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

It can be a little confusing at first to understand the different aspects of JumpCloud's UI, and how they link together, but once you've spend a bit of time understanding it, it becomes clearer.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the problem of secure access for multiple different teams to our products resources. It makes deploying accounts to new VMs very simple.

  ### 43. Makes Migrating from an Old MDM to JC Easy with Scripts

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The agent especially if you want to transfer your old MDM to the new one (JC) makes it really easy to do using scripts.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Finding a user is a little slow, even when using the search bar. There seem to be some latency issues.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the challenge of managing the user and their bound device, and it’s easy to navigate.

  ### 44. All Your Software in One Place for Easy Access

  ### 45. Want to Start Sleeping At Night? Move To Jumpcloud!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The Remote Assist feature. You can remote into a potentially infected machine with zero consequence, betcause it runs over a TCP stream going through an AWS relay, then presented to you in your browser. No RPD, no poking holes in firewalls!

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Uses powershell 5.1 as the underlying mechanism to perform actions.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I dont have to manage or worry about Active Directory. I sleep well at night knowing that Im offloading risk to a highly trusted and extremely secure third party. Also don't have to worry about a domain controller failure. Life is good!

  ### 46. Centralized Control and Seamless Integration Make Management Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Igor B. | Network engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about JumpCloud?**

The centralized control it gives over users, devices, and policies. It makes managing authentication and access across systems simple and consistent. Integration with M365 and Google Workspace works smoothly, and the agent deployment is reliable even in remote environments.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

The reporting and audit features are still limited. Some logs take too long to update, and deeper event correlation requires external tools. The UI could also be faster when handling large device inventories.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It unifies user and device management under one platform. Before JumpCloud, we had fragmented systems for identity, access, and endpoint control. Now authentication, policies, and provisioning are centralized, reducing admin time and improving compliance. Remote onboarding and offboarding are faster, and security standards are easier to enforce company-wide.

  ### 47. Ease to use, Great productive tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ankur s. | IT manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2025

What I like best about JumpCloud is its seamless cloud-based directory platform, which simplifies user and device management across various operating systems. The intuitive interface, strong security features, and ease of integration with multiple applications make IT administration efficient and secure.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

One aspect I dislike about JumpCloud is that some advanced features feel less customizable compared to on-premises solutions. Additionally, occasional sync delays and a learning curve for integrating with legacy systems can pose challenges for new administrators.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud solves the problem of managing users, devices, and access across diverse operating systems and platforms from one cloud-based console. This unified approach eliminates the need for multiple management tools, enhances security, and streamlines IT operations, saving time and reducing administrative overhead.

JumpCloud has made my work easier for many years. What I like the most is the support, always available, efficient, and quick to respond. It is easy to send and assign applications to users through groups, and it is very easy to configure.

**What do you dislike about JumpCloud?**

Perhaps, automation tools could be improved, and also tools that can perform an analysis on my domain to show me as an administrator where my users are using our domain.

**What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JumpCloud helps me in my daily routine by facilitating the deployment and assignment of applications to users through groups, and it is also very easy to configure.

  ### 49. Centralized Device and User Management Makes Life Easier
