I find JumpCloud really beneficial as it connects to our applications via single sign-on, which eliminates the hassle of managing multiple passwords. It also solves our device management problems and acts as a catchall for services required by our IT department, like identity management, mobile device management, and RADIUS. The services offered are necessary for every IT department. Asset management, I believe that if JumpCloud created an asset management system for inventories, it would greatly facilitate things because in the daily IT operation, we don't work only with notebooks and cell phones; we have peripherals, internet networks. If we could have this in JumpCloud, it would be of great value as it would centralize the entire IT operation. Today, asset management is very much based on desktops and smartphones. If we could add other items to users, like mice and keyboards, we could have full visibility of IT assets in one place, in addition to network items with Mikrotik, Unifi, among others. Their system adds users to your account on it's own without your consent, they follow this up with "high watermark billing" for your next billing cycle. In our case, they added twice as many users that we had or needed or asked for or agreed to, and tried to bill us for an entire year based on the users their system added without our permission. It's frankly unbelievable. When presented with this info, they confirmed their system did this on its own, and still insisted we pay for their mistake. What a joke! JumpCloud’s SSO, user management, and app controls are extremely efficient. I can create, assign, and manage users from a single place, and the option to approve or block specific SaaS apps has noticeably strengthened our company’s security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about JumpCloud? My main pain point has been the lack of integrations with a few tools our company relies on. JumpCloud handles the major platforms well, but some of the more niche applications we use every day still aren’t supported, so we have to manage those separately. What problems is JumpCloud solving and how is that benefiting you? Before JumpCloud, managing users, devices, and applications across our company felt fragmented and time-consuming. We had trouble keeping track of who had access to what, and that lack of visibility created real security risks. JumpCloud brought everything under one roof—SSO, device management, SaaS app control, and user provisioning—which has saved us a lot of time and made our environment noticeably more secure. The ability to approve or block apps directly has also helped us eliminate vulnerabilities we didn’t even realize were there. The implementation was straightforward and their team was very present. I like that you'll have not only an SSO but also an MDM and Remote Desktop on the same solution.
