What do you like best about Jumio?

Jumio looks simple and reliable tool for identity verification. It lets us be quiet and calm with our product. Besides I like Jumio's smart algorithms that are constantly improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jumio?

Jumio is still growing and developing product. But progress always goes together with bugs and issues. The most significant one happened a couple of weeks ago. One day Jumio team fully changed parameters for one request without sending us a notification about this. We spent half of a day developing, testing and deploying a hotfix but noticed that they rolled back after our request letter. Funny story with a happy end, one of the bright episodes in our routine :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jumio?

The verification process is fast and simple. Doesn't take too long to upload the images/ videos to the cloud for verification. It accurately pulls the details from the ID even if the picture is a bit blurred out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jumio?

Sometimes it makes you redo the verification even if the lighting is good. I don't think of it as an issue though. It is a little difficult to integrate into mobile apps initially, but I consider that part of the initial learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jumio?

The ease-of-use of the solution is what makes it really appreciated by both our customers and our colleagues. The customers journey takes only few minutes from end-to-end. The staff-facing interface is receiving applications results on a near real-time basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jumio?

If a customer is using the solution to confirm an identity but also to share any additional document (Document Management product), application is segregated into 2 different entries: one for the ID verification and the other one for the additional documents. This creates a risk of manual error if the internal staff does not notice that there are 2 parts of the application.

Integration with governmental data basis are not yet created and sometimes this is mandatory based on local regulation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jumio?

First of all, the technical product Jumio offers is very solid. We've done over 100.000 checks on identities and documents, and have never had any outage on their service.

Next to that, the most improtant thing, is that users 'understand' what is to be expected.

Third thing, the documentation and implementation is rock solid, our developers knew what's possible and were happy to implement it well within the time constraints we had as a startup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jumio?

Jumio is a big company, with the same policies. Coming to an agreement (business wise) felt very 'distant' and inflexible, where we, as a start-up, always need to consider finances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jumio?

Jumio is the perfect ally for companies that need to verify the identity of their customers through biometrics and AI. It considerably reduces manual review time and fraud risk. What do you dislike about Jumio?

Almost 92% of the verification take between 2.5 and 4.5 seconds to get analyzed, it would be awesome if Jumio could improve that metric. Otherwise, it's a great option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you're looking to automate your onboarding process, specially if you are in the financial services sector, Jumio is a great option. As a merchant, you get an admin dashboard where you can see all the verifications that took place, filter by Customer ID, Transaction date, Scan reference, Merchant reference, First name, Last name, Face match, Issuing country, Document type (driver's license, passport), Verification status (approved, rejected, etc.). What problems is Jumio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Customer's Identity Verification and Facematch. We can now close monthly the same amount of deals we used to close in a year.
