The back end of the system works well for us. It's pretty easy to set up a contest. Most photographers are able to upload their photos with little difficulty. It integrates well with PayFlowPro, the commercial version of PayPal that allows entry fees to be routed to our company. Customer support is good. **What do you dislike about Judgify?** We have chosen not to use the judging portion of the system because the large images take 15-20 seconds to display. Our judges review about 300 finalists each year, which would mean taking more than an hour just to have the images download and display on their screens before they can begin judging the photos. Our workaround is to have Judgify provide Zip files of the photos, which we then rename to match the entry number using a script. The judges can then download the entries for review on their computers, which is a much faster process. We previously used another judging application that allowed me to download the photos at my convenience. I would like to see Judgify offer this as an option. I made the switch to Judgify for other reasons, but this is a feature that I miss. I like to be able to download entries fairly early in the contest period so that we can offer an "Early Entries" photo gallery in order to encourage more entries and then to download all entries when the contest is over. **What problems is Judgify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Judgify provides a cost-effective application for having photographers enter our contest and for allowing us to manage it. I answered "I don't know" on the question below because I haven't really seen any changes in the application in the application in the six years that we've been using it. Features and performance seem to have been constant. ### 8. This is great because it reduces the time we have to spend on this event (and we're volunteers), reduces the chance for errors, and allows for everything to be consolidated into one platform. Very helpful - much easier to use than our previous platforms at organizing judging for awards shows. **What do you dislike about Judgify?** I don't always feel that the price reflects the services received, and there are often extra fees in addtion to the fee we pay originally (like fees for transactions or batch downloads). It's also not very intuitive, and even though I appreciate the multiple tutorials available, it's not always easy to understand. **What problems is Judgify solving and how is that benefiting you?** It reduces the time I spend collecting information for entrants to the award show, and as our event has grown, that has become a major benefit. It also reduces the potential for errors and for anyone to claim the judging is not fair (since we don't handle the submissions directly), so it gives more integrity to our event. If you're looking for a customizable and cost-effective tool to manage your award programs, I'd recommend Judgify. We've used it for four different programs in the past two years. **What do you dislike about Judgify?** The only feature I'd like to see from Judgify in the future is the ability to build the award landing page and other features ourselves. Right now, the entire set-up process for each program goes through their team. While they are quick to help and change things, it would be more efficient if we could go in and make copy changes to our landing page and award questions ourselves. **What problems is Judgify solving and how is that benefiting you?** Running our award programs before Judgify was highly manual and required using tools that weren't making our award program experience easy for nominators or our external judges.
