## Joule Reviews
 ### 1. Big Time-Saver for SAP Data and Tasks, But Still Needs More Context and Depth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shashank s. | Analyst , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Honestly, Joule has been a lifesaver for cutting down the daily grind. Instead of clicking through endless tabs or getting bogged down in busywork, I can just ask for what I need in plain English, like I’m messaging a coworker.

It connects the dots behind the scenes by pulling data straight from SAP and our outside apps. Rather than wasting time hunting for numbers, we get the exact information we need right away so we can make fast decisions. On top of that, it takes care of a lot of those tedious, multi-step tasks in the background, which helps the whole team move faster and work more smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I’ve noticed the tool still has a few rough edges. My biggest frustration is that its answers can feel generic or half-baked, which means I usually end up double-checking everything anyway. It also struggles to grasp the real context of what I’m asking for, and sometimes it gives advice that simply doesn’t fit my specific situation. And when I try to push it with more advanced requests, I tend to hit a wall. Between the usage limits and some weird integration hiccups, I almost always have to step in and finish the job manually.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest headache Joule fixes for me is the sheer amount of time I used to waste digging through complex menus and bouncing between different systems just to find one piece of data. Instead of dealing with information trapped in departmental silos or getting bogged down in tedious busywork, I can simply ask for what I need in plain English. It pulls everything together behind the scenes and takes care of the repetitive tasks—like cross-referencing numbers or tracking down specific records—right where I’m already working. It’s a huge relief because I’m no longer losing hours just trying to gather and format information. I get the context I need right away, which helps me make quicker decisions and focus on getting my real work done without all the constant friction.

 ### 2. Official Docs Are Helpful, But the Platform Still Feels Basic vs. Competitors

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | SAP consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

It's nice that it pulls it's infos out of official documentation other than that there aren't any coherent things I like. It is more of an extensive enterprise grade natural language interface running on cloud.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I honestly feel it’s still at a very basic level, and there are many other AI platforms that handle SAP work much better and more efficiently. The “hit or miss” behavior seems to come from the architecture: routing a user query to the right skill/agent configuration among thousands of other configs, apart from S/4, SF, etc., isn’t consistently reliable. On top of that, conversation stickiness with an agent is another major issue.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule for consulting, which my company provided as part of implementation projects, and it’s slightly better than the regular ChatGPT. I definitely believe it’s going to keep improving, so I’m sticking with it. The best part, in my view, is that it answers questions in NLP using past data, bringing information from multiple SAP systems into one conversation instead of requiring users to open several different apps.

 ### 3. Productivity Boost with Joule, Though Complex Queries Need More Tuning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mr. Prakash G. | Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like most about Joule is that it helps simplify everyday tasks by providing quick access to information and automating repetitive work. It saves time, improves productivity, and makes it easier to get answers without having to search through multiple systems manually. The integration with enterprise workflows is also useful.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

The main thing I dislike about Joule is that the quality of responses can depend heavily on the available data and configuration. For more complex or specific requests, it may require additional context or manual verification. I would also like to see more customization options and a smoother experience for advanced use cases.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps reduce the time spent searching for information and handling repetitive tasks. It makes it easier to access relevant insights, get quick answers, and improve productivity across daily workflows. This helps save time and allows me to focus more on higher-value tasks instead of manual information gathering.

 ### 4. Joule Streamlines SAP Workflows with Fast, AI-Powered Assistance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abderrahmane Mohamed N. | graphic designer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like how Joule helps users complete tasks more quickly by offering AI-powered assistance directly inside SAP applications. It streamlines workflows, saves time, and makes business data easier to access through natural-language conversations.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One area where Joule could improve is offering greater flexibility and customization to better fit different user workflows. Like many AI assistants, it can occasionally provide responses that still need to be verified, and its overall effectiveness depends heavily on the quality and availability of the underlying data. As the platform continues to evolve, I expect these aspects to improve over time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps address the challenge of navigating complex business processes and locating information spread across multiple systems. By letting users interact with SAP applications through natural language, it cuts down the time spent searching for data, handling routine tasks, and pulling together insights. For me, this translates into better productivity, quicker decision-making, and more time to focus on higher-value work instead of administrative overhead.

 ### 5. Intuitive Automation with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokesh Reddy S. | Process mining and automation consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like that Joule is handy and very simple to use, requiring no coding knowledge. It's great that functional experts can effortlessly create solutions. I appreciate being able to create workflows without having extensive workflow knowledge by just using natural language commands. Joule is well integrated with SAP applications and also public cloud applications, making it seamless to use. The inclusion of APIs and authentication adds to its usability. I find it helpful that Joule comes with out-of-the-box connectors for SAP applications, making integration ready and straightforward for daily use. Additionally, the initial setup of Joule was quite easy as we could just follow the guide from SAP and start building things right away.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I feel like Joule is not that stable in most cases, especially with on-premises systems, which need a lot of improvement. Connecting with SAP can be tricky, and integration with other non-SAP systems is a bit difficult. There's also a lot of room to improve when it comes to process analysis and data analysis. It feels like there's a long way to go in these areas.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to automate SAP workflows without needing deep workflow knowledge. It lets me create workflows using natural language commands. Joule is simple to use, with no coding needed, and offers handy connectors for SAP applications, making integrations smooth.

 ### 6. Instant SAP Data Access with Joule, Yet Needs Refinement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DEEPAK O. | Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I use Joule for quick access to SAP data and insights like checking order status and HR queries. I like how it saves time by pulling info straight from SAP without having to dig through multiple screens. The ability to understand plain language queries cuts down on training needs, and it helps our team get quick answers during busy periods without waiting on other departments. I appreciate how Joule stands out by understanding natural language queries and pulling the right data instantly, so I don't need to know exact transaction codes or navigate deep menus. It significantly cuts down our reliance on SAP experts since anyone can just ask in plain language and get instant answers. The initial setup was fairly straightforward since it's built into our existing SAP environment.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I sometimes struggle because Joule needs rephrasing for complex or ambiguous queries to get the right result. It also occasionally lacks context on niche, company-specific processes.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule saves us time by pulling info straight from SAP, cutting down on training needs and helping our team get quick answers by understanding plain language queries.

 ### 7. Streamlines Recruitment with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohd Aquid S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I use Joule to streamline candidate sourcing, generate job descriptions, and automate daily HR workflow as a US IT recruiter. Joule saves me hours of administrative work by handling the time-consuming bottleneck of manual candidate screening and writing repetitive outreach messages, allowing me to focus entirely on engaging top tech talent. The best part about Joule is its ability to draft highly customized outreach messages and job descriptions, which understand the specific technical requirements I'm looking for and help me engage with the top talent much faster. These features save me a lot of time by generating personalized outreach messages and job descriptions, connecting me with the right candidates faster and improving the quality and consistency of my hiring process. The initial setup was very easy, with an intuitive interface allowing our team to start using Joule with minimal training and a smooth onboarding process. I also find it helpful to use Joule alongside LinkedIn recruiter, job boards, and my ATS, which streamlines sourcing, candidate outreach, and job description creation, making my recruitment workflow more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Overall, Joule has been a great experience, but I think it could improve by providing more accurate candidate matching and faster response time for complex queries. I also wish there were additional customization options for outreach messages and job descriptions. These enhancements would make the hiring process much more efficient.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to streamline candidate sourcing, generate job descriptions, and automate daily HR workflow. It saves hours by reducing manual candidate screening and drafting personalized outreach messages, allowing me to engage with top tech talent faster and improve hiring consistency.

 ### 8. Great for Everyday SAP Tasks, but ADT Support Still Needs to Catch Up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin A. | Application Development Senior Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like best about SAP Joule is how naturally it brings AI into everyday SAP tasks. Instead of navigating multiple screens or transactions, users can ask questions in plain language and get relevant insights or complete actions more quickly. It helps reduce repetitive work, improves productivity, and makes SAP systems more accessible, especially for users who are not deeply familiar with the underlying processes.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One limitation I've noticed is that Joule's capabilities in ABAP Development Tools (ADT) are still fairly limited compared to what developers expect from a modern AI coding assistant. While it can assist with certain development tasks, it doesn't yet provide the same depth of support for code generation, refactoring, debugging, or project-wide context that would significantly speed up ABAP development. As the ADT integration continues to evolve, expanding these capabilities would make Joule much more valuable for day-to-day development work.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps reduce the time spent understanding unfamiliar code and writing unit tests. For developers, it can explain existing code, summarize the purpose of classes and methods, and make it easier to understand complex business logic without manually tracing every line. It also assists with generating or improving unit tests, helping ensure better code quality while reducing the effort needed to create test cases. This speeds up development, improves productivity, and makes onboarding to existing projects much easier.

 ### 9. Natural-Language SAP Answers in Your Apps—Powered by Your Data and Works in French

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Groupe A. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Honestly the best part is just being able to ask for what I need in normal language instead of remembering where everything lives in SAP. It's right there inside the apps we already use, so I'm not jumping between screens or copying stuff back and forth. It actually pulls from our own data too, so the answers aren't generic. And it works in French, which matters a lot for getting the rest of our team comfortable with it.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

What bugs me a bit is that there's not much I can control or personalize. It doesn't really remember previous conversations, so I end up re-explaining context more than I'd like. Some parts of it feel really polished while others are clearly still catching up, depending on which module you're in. And you don't get much out of it unless your SAP data and setup are already clean, which not everyone realizes going in.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves me a ton of time that I used to spend digging through SAP just to find or pull something. People on the team can get their own answers now instead of pinging someone every time. For the repetitive multi-step stuff in procurement and HR it just handles it, which frees me up for actual work. And when we're helping clients get onto SAP, it makes the whole thing way less intimidating for them.

 ### 10. Joule AI: A Game-Changer for Faster SAP Answers

As a previously SAP user i like that Joule AI helps me get answer fast it resolves many issues on configuration time.and it helps sap consultant significantly and therefore still needs lots of fixes over time

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

one thing i dislike about joule AI is that its response are not always accurate or detailed enough for complex SAP Scenarios, so i need to double check the information. I think it would be even better if it could provide more specific, context-aware recommendations based on the exact workflow or system being used.

 ### 12. Game-Changing in SAP, but Setup and Flexibility Can Be a Hurdle

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaurav M. | Software Engineer, Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule is a real game-changer for SAP development. It genuinely understands the business context—it feels like a teammate who knows S/4HANA and Digital Manufacturing inside and out. Because it’s embedded in Fiori, I’m not constantly switching tabs, and navigating UI5 apps becomes much smoother. Overall, it keeps my workflow far cleaner and takes care of the tedious data-hunting for me.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Setting up Joule is honestly a headache—BTP permissions and IAS sync issues feel like a part-time job. While it's a genius with SAP data, it can feel a bit "stiff" and restricted when you’re doing creative coding or React work. It lives in its own SAP bubble, which is great until you need to step outside of it!

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule kills the constant "tab-switching" fatigue. It’s like having a senior dev in my pocket who knows every SAP table by heart. It explains messy legacy code in seconds and handles boring unit tests, so I can actually focus on the fun logic building. It’s basically a shortcut past the enterprise "busy work"!

 ### 13. Saves Time, Enhances Workflow Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul B. | Web Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I use Joule to quickly get insights, summarize information, and make everyday work tasks easier and faster. I like how easy it is to use and how quickly it gives useful answers and insights, saving me a lot of time. The initial setup was fairly easy and straightforward. It didn’t take much time to get started and learn the basic features. I’d rate it 8 out of 10 because it’s easy to use, saves time, and makes everyday tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Sometimes the responses can be a bit generic, and it could improve by giving more accurate and context-specific suggestions.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to get insights quickly, summarize information, and speed up routine tasks, saving me time and reducing manual effort.

 ### 14. Agentic Power in SAP, Simplistic and Swift

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leif A. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I find Joule particularly helpful because it provides Agentic power within the SAP ecosystem. The Agentic workflows are extremely beneficial for my tasks. I like Joule's simplistic design and ease of use, especially due to its natural language capabilities. It excels in making information gathering and quality reviews much quicker, which saves me a lot of time, particularly when understanding SAP features or configurations. I also enjoy that Joule for consultants allows me to reduce the time spent on these activities significantly by providing a convenient chat interface.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I would like to control much more as an admin, so that I can configure the retention of the messages (maybe even on user level) and also I would like to personalize it with behavior and structure of the text, and with memories, so that I don't need to start over every time. The setup was a bit tricky, especially getting the BTP setup done and assigning the AI Quota, which caused us to lose some time. Additionally, the enterprise acceptance takes time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to get agentic power inside the SAP ecosystem, which speeds up information gathering and quality reviews, cutting down time spent on these activities by allowing me to quickly understand SAP features.

 ### 15. Joule Supercharges SAP Productivity with Smooth Conversational Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nivas S. | System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule does a great job of speeding up the whole SAP SDLC process and improves productivity by saving time on tedious work.

One team automated their manual journal posting and reconciliation process entirely, and the automation of PR-to-PO approvals saved an average of 70 hours of manual work per week.

Joule offers a smooth conversational way to interact with SAP systems, and its ability to pull insights from multiple SAP applications adds real value.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Joule Studio still feels a bit early-stage. Some features are already in place, but they don’t feel fully mature yet, and I occasionally run into walls where something seems like it should be possible, but it just isn’t quite there.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule cuts down on busywork by automating repetitive approvals, generating reports, and handling data lookups across SAP systems. The biggest benefit is the time it saves—teams can spend more energy on strategic work instead of getting stuck on manual tasks.

 ### 16. Joule: Efficient Configuration Aid with Some Setup Hurdles

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ram b. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I appreciate Joule's better UI and how it answers most of the queries. It's like a chatbot and is easy to use, with responses tailored to the requirements. Unlike in the past where I needed to go through SAP learning, Google search, and other online sources to get the answers, Joule is a one-stop shop. It really helps as a consultant by reducing the configuration and build time and assisting our FA to better review the configuration.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

We're facing some challenges in activating Joule for Ariba, but we're working with SAP to fix this. Also, I've found that the initial setup isn't an easy one. We're waiting to move to RISE since Joule only works once on RISE.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps our FA better review configurations and reduces build time. It has a better UI and satisfactorily answers most queries. It's like a chatbot, easy to use, with tailored responses without the need to search through learning materials or online sources.

 ### 17. Promising Potential, But Difficult Implementation

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I would like to share my experience with Joule 2, which came to renew the user experience. It greatly facilitates the development of applications and agents within the ERP. I firmly believe it will be a revolution in the way applications are developed and will greatly improve users' expectations regarding business processes.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Joule 1 does not meet user expectations, especially in understanding business concepts and formatting more accurate responses. It fails to answer most questions in the financial and SD areas, which frustrates users. The implementation of Joule was not easy and took 2 to 3 weeks, with problems during the process.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to renew the user experience and facilitate the development of applications and agents within the ERP. With Joule 2, I expect a revolution in the way applications are developed, improving users' expectations regarding AI.

 ### 18. Streamlines Job Applications but Needs Mobile Refinement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran H. | Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like the simplicity of how things are with Joule. It makes the process seamless, and I've noticed the questions are pretty straightforward. Joule knows how to phrase the questions well and order them in the correct format, which really helps in streamlining the question-answering process, especially for job applications to private companies.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think Joule could improve in making the websites much more accessible via mobile devices because it gets a little bit tough sometimes. Also, the appearance of the website could be improved as sometimes things are cramped into other things, so it's hard to see everything clearly.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule streamlines the question-answering process for job applications, making it seamless and straightforward.

 ### 19. Joule Helps Solve Business-Critical Problems and Drive Smarter Decisions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vinod p. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

To help industries stay on top of innovation, Joule has made a commendable entry into AI. It genuinely seems to be helping solve business-critical problems across supply chain, logistics, and customer service. Overall, it supports more informed and consistent decisions and recommendations.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

With SAP Joule, we are already breaking many barriers. If the interface were kept more user-friendly and easy to use, it would be even better, and we could add a few enhancements as well. While Joule provides good, well-organized functionality, it still seems to be missing support for situations that require complex, multi-step reasoning and deeper technical design decisions.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lead-to-cash time and order cycle times are the most popular focus areas in my industry, and Joule is really helping solve those problems. We’re also looking to use Joule for more realistic use cases where we can get real-time issue tracking and resolution for various EDIs and IDOCs coming into the system.

 ### 20. Efficient AI for SAP, Needs Better Complex Query Handling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like that Joule acts as an AI assistant within the SAP ecosystem, allowing me to quickly find information using natural language. It's particularly valuable for answering questions about SAP processes, summarizing data, and assisting with day-to-day business tasks, which boosts my productivity by reducing the time spent searching for information and navigating different applications. I appreciate Joule's natural language interface and its seamless integration with SAP applications, which makes it easy to ask questions in plain English and get quick, relevant answers. The way it simplifies navigation, provides useful insights, and automates routine tasks also saves me time and improves productivity. Furthermore, the initial setup of Joule was straightforward due to its integration with the SAP ecosystem, and the natural language interface made it simple to use without much training, aided by the available documentation and SAP guidance.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One area for improvement with Joule is handling more complex or highly specific tasks with greater accuracy and context. Sometimes, the responses need manual verification. When working with large datasets or asking multistep business questions involving information from different SAP modules, I would like the responses to be faster and more context-aware. Additionally, it would be helpful if organizations could customize Joule to fit their specific business processes, terminologies, and workflows to make responses more relevant to the specific environment. Better personalization based on user roles and frequently used tasks would also improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule as an AI assistant in the SAP ecosystem. It quickly provides info, answers SAP questions, and simplifies tasks, enhancing productivity by reducing search time across applications. Its integration and natural language interface streamline my workflow and make daily work more efficient.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It has a very clear classification of the hours and separation per task or per project. This helps me have a better overview of the team workload & capacity, and the time spent on certain projects or tasks. Advantage of SAP Joule is its ability to dramatically accelerate enterprise productivity by shifting software interaction from complex menus to conversational commands. By embedding generative AI directly into core business processes, it reduces administrative friction and speeds up decision-making

The automatic integration with SAP infrastructure and integration with the native tools. Specifically IBP and S4, without having to export data to a spreadsheet and then import back into AI model.

Joule is being utilized to integrate into IBP and analyze data automatically without having to export from excel and make your own analysis. Not having to export data to analyze is where the immediate benefit can be seen.

 ### 30. Joule studio 2.0 review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subrote M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule studio 2.0 which gives power to business super users to start agentic AI journey where intent comes first.
The fact that Business AI now had BDC, signavio, business models and knowledge graph providing the context - means agents build would be much more powerful.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

During the hands on sessions, many a times we found errors during agent, BDC data product or CAP application creation. Seems the underlying tech is not yet ready although the direction is positive

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Build AI agents for BPO operations which has a measurable financial and effieicieny impact.
However as a product Joule is directionally strong but doesn’t seem ready yet.

 ### 31. Seamless SAP Integration and Collaborative Agents That Automate Finance Tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Joule's seamless integration into our SAP landscape stands out — it understands our finance context natively, and the new collaborative agents announced at Sapphire automate cross-module tasks that previously required manual handoffs. Implementation is very hard, even with direct support from SAP if alraedy other implementations are available on BTP.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Coverage is still uneven across the SAP suite — some modules feel mature while others lag, and the AI unit consumption model makes it hard to predict costs at scale. Custom agent extensibility via Joule Studio also still feels early for enterprise rollout.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule reduces the friction of navigating a complex SAP finance landscape — instead of jumping between transactions and reports, our team gets answers and actions in natural language. That accelerates month-end analysis, lowers the training burden, and frees architects to focus on design rather than tool mechanics.

 ### 32. Streamlined Data Workflows with Automation and Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaithanya D. | Data & Tech

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I use Joule primarily to streamline data workflows and generate insights quickly. It’s incredibly helpful for analyzing large datasets, automating repetitive tasks, and getting actionable recommendations without spending hours manually digging through data. The interface is intuitive, and I love how it integrates smoothly with existing tools I use daily. What I like most about Joule is how effortlessly it turns complex data into clear, actionable insights. The automation features save me a lot of time, and the recommendations it provides are usually spot-on. The automation features in Joule handle repetitive tasks like data cleaning, aggregation, and report generation, which lets me focus on analysis and decision-making instead of manual work. The intuitive interface makes exploring datasets and visualizing results really straightforward, even for complex queries. It integrates smoothly with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL databases, enhancing my workflow and keeping everything organized. Joule centralizes our data, automates repetitive tasks, and provides insights much faster. The initial setup was surprisingly straightforward, with onboarding guides and prompts that made it easy to connect our data sources and get started quickly.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Handling extremely large datasets can feel a bit slow, and a few advanced features aren’t as intuitive at first, requiring some trial and error. It would be great if there were more in-app guidance or tutorials for those features.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to streamline data workflows, automate tasks, and analyze large datasets quickly. It integrates with my tools and enhances productivity and decision-making by providing actionable insights with ease.

 ### 33. Intuitive, Fast, and Powerful—Joule Feels Like a Trusted Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rekha S. | content creator on social media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

What I like most about Joule is how intuitive and human it feels, while still being incredibly powerful. It makes complex tasks easier, provides clear and actionable insights, and fits naturally into my daily workflow without ever feeling overwhelming. The responses are fast, relevant, and context-aware, which genuinely saves me time and helps me stay productive. Overall, Joule feels less like a tool and more like a smart, reliable partner I can trust to get things done efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One thing I dislike about Joule is that it can occasionally feel limited when it comes to very niche or highly customized use cases. Sometimes the responses still need a bit of manual refinement to align perfectly with a specific business context. I’d also like to see deeper personalization and more flexibility for fine-tuning outputs, which would make the overall experience even stronger. That said, these feel like relatively minor gaps compared to the overall value Joule provides.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps me cut through information overload by quickly turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. It saves me time, accelerates decision-making, and allows me to focus on higher-value work rather than getting stuck in manual analysis.

 ### 34. Application SME

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

It provides employees with easy access to start processes, such as requesting time off or giving feedback to colleagues. I also appreciate the simplified navigation, which makes it quicker to find what I need.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Implementing something a bit more advanced requires a lot of work. For example, creating policies that Joule can understand takes real effort and careful setup. I also feel the example SAP uses in their demos (the typical question about a leave request) is weak. It’s not that common in practice, and it doesn’t feel like a big improvement compared with a well-designed FAQ.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to features that are otherwise “spread” across the tool. Employees can ask Joule instead of having to navigate through different SuccessFactors modules. It also feels like a 24-hour open door to HR.

 ### 35. Enhances SCM and Order Management with AI, Needs Industry-Specific Improvements

I like using Joule for business AI solutions, particularly appreciating the Joule Agents in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Order Management. These features really help reduce manual efforts and optimize costs, which is essential for my work.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think Joule could be more industry-specific and client-specific. Whatever SAP mentioned as part of the promo last year, it did not meet client expectations. It needs to understand client requirements better and tackle problems directly, rather than providing generic SAP solutions.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps with cost optimization and reduces manual efforts, especially through Joule Agents in SCM and Order Management.

 ### 36. Intuitive Interface, Rapid SAP Access

Its ability to automate daily tasks and natural language insights are also what I like most about Joule. But the fact that it works diectly inside SAP apps instead of as a separate tool is also great

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

One thing that is negative I can say abt Joule is that its quality depends on the quality of data. The quality of its help may be inconsistent or incomplete at times.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me and my team turn SAP business data of our company into something that you can take action one and automates a bunch of stuff for us. That's what it helps us with.

Sometimes when I pass bigger documents for it to analyze, it fails. I wanted to be able to process documents that I upload or even multiple documents, and not fail. The initial setup was very complex, and it took a long time.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Joule helps me develop fast, write better functional specifications, and navigate the system more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think the initial setup and enablement of Joule could be faster and more seamless. It's difficult and time-consuming to activate and implement, and the integration should be more seamless from roles and authorizations.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule for mapping and configuration for systems migration, which accelerates analysis processes and onboarding new colleagues.

 ### 41. Intuitive Interface, Hassle-Free Data Sharing

**Reviewed by:** Saurabh T.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

Plus, the initial setup of Joule was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

Maybe the UI can be made more advanced. It's perfect as of now, but if there are any updates, I don't want the team to put in any extra updates that might remove current functionality.

**What problems is Joule solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Joule to easily access and share different formats of data without hassle, regardless of database size.

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Joule?**

I like that its context aware and its just like a chat bot on top of the screen where I currently work on. Also its good for basic tasks for example in SuccessFactors.

**What do you dislike about Joule?**

I think i found it hard to apply to all my tasks or workflows since its doesn't work for our use case like mass approvals and mass processing. I wonder how it can handle those types of processes.
