I've found the actual forms a bit funky when trying to customize and add signatures. It's taken a few versions to get the signatures and everything in the right place and order, and sometimes I've had trouble getting that flow to work properly. I wouldn’t say there are any particular downsides, but I would love to have more customization for the kind of work I do. As an environmental consultant, monitoring the impact of our activities is key. I use Jotform Sign to have our parade participants read rules and sign a Hold Harmless document. I like that Jotform Sign works with the full Jotform experience, so I don't have to use multiple programs. I really appreciate the "new" AI experience with it as it makes things easier. I can literally talk what I want into the program, and it will create what I need, which makes it very fast. It emails me and the person signing up a copy when complete, which is super helpful. There are so many capabilities; if you can think it, it probably does it. I remember the initial setup being simple, and with AI, it’s probably easier now. I also enjoy using it with Jotform Forms. I love the ability to auto-detect fields and assign signers in Jotform Sign. When I upload a PDF, it auto-detects fields and easily allows me to make them required and assign roles for who should fill out which areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once you upload a PDF, there's no way to edit it or reupload. You have to delete and start over. This is a bit cumbersome, especially if there's a tiny edit that needs to be made. It's more work for me to fix in the original document and annoying that I can't reupload the document. At the very least, you should be able to reupload a PDF. I wish there were a way to edit a PDF after I upload it for signing. Sometimes, after I’ve already added all the fields for the signer, I’ll notice a tiny typo. Instead of being able to correct it within Jotform Sign, I have to go back, edit the document elsewhere, and reupload it—then re-enter all the fields again from scratch.
