## Jostle Reviews
  ### 1. A streamlined intranet with accessible features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa M. | Digital Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle is easy to navigate with the grid format of articles, news and updates. The "news" build-out includes a lot of features in regards to publishing, scheduling and saving drafts so we can get timely information out.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Some of the social-integration features like Twitter have a good start but could be improved upon. There are a couple of bugs when it comes to html, such as trying to add gifs into blog posts but overall most everything runs smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Think about how many employees will use this resource vs other methods of communication (email, social, etc.)
Jostle is more effective the more there is an incentive for employees to log on and explore it.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lots of our personnel in manufacturing don't easily have access to Jostle via web but the mobile app has made it easier to access and still receive company updates.

  ### 2. Quite possibly the most intuitive intranet on the market.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter P. | SVP Marketing & Communications, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle offers an intuitive user interface that requires nominal training for employee users, and a very robust set of tools for administrative-level users. The various sections of the site and terminology used across the platform are well thought-out, which ensures quick and broad adoption. There is plenty of opportunity for customization to meet the unique requirements of most companies. Our company's favorites are the People, Events, and News / Activity sections, which provide the most opportunity, with Discussions and Library following closely.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Jostle's inability to link more than one Google email domain has created some challenges in having a fluid feed for employees of another major business unit.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Build a key stakeholder team from across the company and secure ownership and commitment to implement their portion of the plan. Create milestones and hit them. Build the entire People and Library database first and test every aspect. Success is 95% upfront planning and buildout.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Jostle, we had a number of disparate systems to rely on for communicating information and with each other, distributing documents, sharing calendars, and looking for people across the company. Jostle has allowed us to do all that on a single platform in an easy-to-use, engaging way. Beyond the obvious benefits, we have also been able to create a way to share new properties before they hit the market, more effectively roll out new products, and share best practices in real time.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Our Library integration should work across multiple Google domains, provided all users are using their gmail address as their userID. I've reached out to Peter to further explore his specific situation.

  ### 3. Outstanding product for improving culture and internal communications

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Holly F. | Manager of HR and Health Sustainability, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The activity feed is an amazing way to acknowledge employees, provide quick information and promote positive things about staff.

Important safety bulletins and job postings can be signed off on which is great.

Seeing coworkers and how they link to the organization is great.

Having access to the contacts through your phone is such a great way to connect all staff with each other.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I wish there was a vacation calendar tab. We currently use events as a vacation calendar and it does not work very well. We rarely use it for events because of that.

It would be great if the files we load to the library could connect to our server so they could be active files.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An ability for enhanced interaction with staff and managers and between co-workers.

Easily able to share information about IT, Safety, HR and other and not have so many emails now.

  ### 4. Great Site

  ### 5. Jostle Changes Internal Communication for the Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amber S. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle is a great intranet that helps to connect your company. Have HR updates? Information that needs to be disseminated in a more connected way other than email? Jostle is a great platform to intercross departments and creates a sense of unity amongst companies.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

The ability to add video and GIF's into the shout-out bar.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

internal communications are clearer now and we have been able to keep employees more in the loop of important information and even just company updates.

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

  ### 8. I give a 10+ for Jostle review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Executive Office | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

I don't have any dislike, I'm very satisfied.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

I recommend it you will be very happy.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle has made it so easy for me to be able to find documents without having to open each document it has been well organized.

  ### 9. Good social interaction

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Cosmetics | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Ability to post messages and respond, like social media

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

The news articles on the home page are always out of order, and I have not been able to find a sort option; you can't add someone to the org charts unless they are a Jostle user.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

What are you trying to solve? How engaged will your employees be? Can you implement a single sign on option?

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One source of info for employees

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Hey there...

It's been a while since you left this review. And very sorry that we did not respond here back then.

There are ways to get non-users onto Charts. And I'm not understanding your experience with News (which has moved forward a lot since 2020).

  ### 10. Great product for our company intranet!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Utilities | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Communication within our company has greatly improved since we started using Jostle. It was very easy to setup and use. We have a high percentage of employees posting articles and Shout-Out's. It's really helped us stay connected even while we are working remotely.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

We've found a few bugs but they have been very responsive and quick to address the issues.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle has been a great platform for communication within our company. Our employees have embraced it and by being more informed we have improved moral, and participation in committees and events.

  ### 11. easy and practical to manage to carry out any activity remotely.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

It is an effective and easy to use platform, thanks to the functions it offers, it allows you to connect remotely to any scheduled task in a simple and effective way.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

It would be great if it allowed to keep track of the progress of the scheduled tasks, that is, to evaluate if the tasks have been carried out in an effective and practical way.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a very practical and effective tool to manage, since thanks to the functions it provides, it allows you to develop and execute activities remotely with a simple and useful method of managing.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Hi Anthony, it's been a fair while since you left this review.

We've made lots of improvements across the platform. Very soon we will be adding some powerful new functions to Task.

Can we chat to get your input on these?

  ### 12. Jostle is the first intranet that I have used. Not disappointed.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody F. | Learning and Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I like the way it looks. It is simple and easy to use. It is easier for employees who use it as social media and information in one place. It is perfect for that!

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I dislike that there is not a free way to display highlights on a television or large monitor. That is an extra paid service.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

If you are considering an intranet that takes into account affordability, ease of use, features, communication, aesthetics, etc. We sent out RFPs to multiple companies, and decided on Jostle. As a non-profit, finding a balanced intranet at the right price was essential. Save yourself some time and money, give Jostle an opportunity to wow you!

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide all information in one place. Messaging, forms, the handbook, guides, links, Human Resources materials, the org chart, our company library, events, discussions, and more all in one place. It is a one stop shop so we don't have 20-30 different website/software needs.

  ### 13. So many solutions in one tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Azure T. | Corporate Director of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The enhanced collaboration it offers our teams. Our company has locations in 6 states and dozens of cities. Jostle makes it easy for team members in multiple disciplines across all locations to collaborate, share ideas, communicate and build camaraderie.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

It took me a few minutes to get my head around some of the implementation steps due to the nature of our organization. I think a development environment where I could test my theories for set up might have been helpful. I had to back track a bit post launch but it all worked out just fine!

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Work closely with your implementation team and ask lots of questions. The tool is so powerful but does require some planning to make it most effective for the user base post launch.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Less email! Better communication across locations and disciplines. Jostle provides an easy way to celebrate daily and reinforce company culture.

  ### 14. It’s game-changer for internal communications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose Manuel A. | Project Control Manager, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

After years trying multiple internal communication platforms, Jostle came out the clear winner. It’s a great tool for information and collaboration. It provides a safe space for our team members to communicate with each other. The design and navigation is simple and easy to use and also very intuitive. It doesn't require advanced IT expertise to use or even setup the system. Allowing internal and external users means our board members can see what is going on inside of the organization. The search function is excellent and returns a good set of relevant results to all users from all areas

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Can’t think of major cons about it but there are some minor details to mention: it lacks some customization options. Some more features would be good as well. The Library could be more robust. When posting articles some more and better customization would be nice. And sometimes it shut-downs and won't download content, it’s not all the time but when it happens it’s annoying

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

If you're looking for a clean, simple, workplace social network to connect teams and people, while cutting down on the amount of redundant emails, Jostle will work great

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been simple to implement and use by people of limited technical skill thanks to its recognizable and intuitive user interface, improving the way our team communicate and collaborate with each oter. Jostle has been a great tool, not just for office communication, but also for news, events, and publications

  ### 15. Finally a user-friendly intranet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neely M. | Marketing and Communications Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle is the easiest intranet I have found to transition to and use. Our employees can easily use the platform and have answers quickly answered. If a function is not found, Jostle is quick to respond and either fix or create a new function. On boarding for your admin team is quick and fun!

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

No dislikes here! If I had any issues they were quickly resolved.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving our issue with consistent communication. Because we have multiple locations, communication was sometimes lost and shout outs were not shared.
The benefits we have seen are a large boost in collaboration and culture building.

  ### 16. Jostle -a fun collaboration tool for companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly K. | Customer Support Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I find it very easy to engage with other collaborators. I like how there are like buttons, other functionality similar to other social media functionality to make you want to engage more with your team. I really enjoy how easy it is to find and learn about my colleagues in the business through the "people" section.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

The only functionality I have found to be a bit difficult to maneuver through is the "teams" app, but there were a few ICs I found not find in the hierarchy.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

I have used other "hubs" before and I really like how Jostle is an easy to use collaboration tool for teams to connect.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think basic overall collaboration between colleagues has improved through Jostle. It's nice to have fun "contests" to participate in, see people's anniversaries/birthdays/etc, read their bios, and get to know them even though we are all working remotely. It helps make them "real" which can be difficult when you work in a remote team.

  ### 17. Great Place to Engage!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christa D. | HR Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I love how Jostle provides a safe space for our employees to engage with each other and the company! Working such far distances away from each other can sometimes cause drifting and for things to be a bit scattered all over the place~ with Jostle we can stay close through communication. Also it has shown us that we are able to reach out to people that might not have been as reachable in the beginning. Not everyone are able to make it to work functions and/or outside of work actives with co-workers. So to have a way of reaching out to those, some for the first time, has been wonderful!

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

So far there aren't any downsides! We are loving the platform and how we are able to reach out to our employees in an easy- visually appealing way.

If I have one suggestion, it would be to create emojis or some sort of fun/colorful spin that individuals can use in their feed/profile . In today's world, people are SO used to being able to double tap something or to give something a thumbs up/down with the click of a button. While Jostle has the liking feature- it would be a lot of fun to have even more visually appealing ways of showing love for an article or feed post.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Try to balance your platform with a good mixture of knowledge content as well as the fun stuff too!

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our employee engagement across our company has improved hands down since we started with Jostle! We have been able to reach out to employees who were totally disengaged before! Even in the beginning of us using Jostle, some of our employees were so against it. They were used to the old ways when information would be faxed over and told to them- they didn't want to have to go "look" for it. However now, they have noticed that using Jostle is easy and super fun!

  ### 18. Intuitive design and feature rich

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake H. | IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I find the layout to be extremely intuitive and despite how easy it is to learn the basics there is a deep level of granular control available for those willing to look a little further into the platform.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

There are a lot of different ways to organize a company and jostle has done a great job of accommodating this fact but as one of the organizational outliers it was a little difficult trying to make our system jive with Jostle. But they helped us through every step and we found a way to make Jostle fit our needs.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

If you're unsure, it's worth a closer look, you'll be impressed.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the construction industry it's easy for employees to become isolated in the projects they are working on, Jostle gives parts of our company that never interact a platform to share information and stay connected with the goings on in the company.

  ### 19. User Friendly-Customizeable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karie Z. | Communications Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I like the ease of being able to post articles to the intranet. Our manufacturing employees don't always feel comfortable using computers but just about every single one of them find it easy to navigate through Jostle.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Our sytems aren't always compatible with Jostle (for example our active directory to import users or our visio program to export the employee org chart.)

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle acts as a one stop shop for our employees to easily access all the information they need in one place- whether it's forms or just general company information. It helps everyone stay connected on a user friendly platform.

  ### 20. Jostle is Awesome!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle has streamlined all of our corporate communications to be all in one place. It also has become our internal document library. Super user friendly, super easy to use. The newsfeed/activity feed is super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I cant think of anything. Everything i have disliked, i have communicated to our account manager and they have seemed to solve the issue and create new features.

The only thing i would love to be added is third party integrations.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

This product is super easy to set up for a company. We were able to completely implement it in just a few short weeks.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to solve for streamlining all of our employee intranet, internal communications & document library issues.

This platform has helped us do that and more.

  ### 21. Easy to use no matter what your comfort of technology is

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darin S. | Marketing Manager, Hospital & Health Care, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

There are two things that really stand out. First, the design and navigation is simple and easy to use so matter what your comfort with technology is, it's intuitive. Second, than half our work staff isn't at a computer on a regular basis so having an easy to use app has been a great way for our employees to stay connected.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

There are a few limitations on what you can do on the app from a creation standpoint but you can view pretty much anything from it.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Make sure you understand how your organization communicates with each other before implementation. The teams area requires the most time.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a growing company that less than two years ago only had one location. Now we have three and will be adding more. This has helped our newer locations keep connected and feel like part of the company. In addition, adding the Bonusly integration has enhanced our culture with being able to give people bonus points in such as transparent way. Seeing how our staff is going out of their way to help each other makes you feel really good about the place you work.

  ### 22. User friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diondra H. | CCMEP Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Everything is accessible and current. In the company that I work for I can connect with other departments in the company and hear the updates

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I haven't found anything yet; I'm still learning to use it and become familiar with all the links

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

I recommend that if other employers are wanting to stay connected current platforms that this would be a good switch

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I previously stated I'm still learning how to use Jostle. Any problems that have arroused our IT Dept has fixed right away. The benefit is that I can stay connected even when I'm not at my work sight. My work cell and emails keep me notified with all the Jostle notifications

  ### 23. It's made my life infintely easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc A. D. | Broker Associate / Partner in Real Group Real Estate Team, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

It puts all of the news and information I need in one place and make it really easy to know what my company needs for me to be successful

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Honestly, I wish that we could work directly in in vs downloading links. Other than that its great

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

faster library. Easier access to other offices in the firm. much easier to collaborate

  ### 24. Great Employee Engagement Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chellie P. | Vice President of Communications and Public Relations, Utilities, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

It's an all in one platform that allows us to keep our spread out employee base (in three locations) up to date with news and information while also allowing them the ability to communicate and respond back. It keeps everyone feeling like they are a part of the company. It gives our employees the ability to interact with each other and with the company as a whole. The discussion rooms have been great for committees to work and the calendar feature has been very helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I'd love to see some more analytics, but the changes this year have been great. I'd also like to see Facebook and other social streams incorporated into the newsfeed.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

I've actually recommended this platform to numerous others. It's been a great product for us to use with our employees and we find it to be a valuable resource that others could benefit from too. Since we have three offices, this allows to keep everyone up to date on what's happening. It's had a positive impact on our corporate culture and I think it will for others as well.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's allowed us to make an impact on corporate culture. It's been a great tool to help keep multiple departments aware of what's happening around the company.

  ### 25. Robust social intranet with continous development and support. Jostle is constantly working on featu

  ### 27. User Friendly Company Intranet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Business Supplies and Equipment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

News feed and shout outs are great for staying connected to co-workers in other departments/buildings.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Although the events calendar is a nice way to outline upcoming company events, some employees turn off the email notification feature and say they didn't know about company events.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

User friendly platform, easy to administer

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nice to have a central place for all company communications to be posted, and a platform for employees to connect with co-workers in other departments. We've been able to significantly reduce the number of company-wide emails that were being sent out.

  ### 28. Jostle does what it is meant to do. Strong product.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse B. | Sr. Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle has been a great tool for office communication for news, events, and publications. It’s easy to use, easy to log into and overall gets the job done. It has a social media feel to it so it appeals to a large audience and shares some functionality which reduced training needs.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Jostle main issue is you have to fetch the information. The tools are limited for proactive notifications. Which often leads to many getting the news late. It take a lot of user responsibility to retrieve the information. It is a strong easy product but misses the mark on integrations and notifications.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

This product does well in a lot of regards. Compare this to Microsoft Yammer and you will have a great product comparison.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a central tool that allows us to send out notifications to employees outside of email. To have an office newsletter and classified where people could comment and have two way feedback over news content.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Jesse you left this review way back in 2018. We've done a bunch of things to advance notifications since then, always taking care to not cause unnecessary noise in the workplace.

There might be some advanced features that you have not spotted. Want to jump on a quick call so I can show you. I'd also love to hear your further feedback.

  ### 29. Phenomenal Communications Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | Co-Owner, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

It's so easy to use you're up in running in just a few hours and its very easy to train several people to help develop and manage the content. The best part is, that when your finished the quality of the site is top notch.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I wish we could get more of our remote drivers to access the site on a weekly basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Because it's so well designed, it's easy for your company to get up and running and get the most out of the product.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle is a great way to share information, celebrate wins, draw attention to up coming events, share our huddle recordings. We also share our accountability chart through Jostle.

  ### 30. Clean and Easy to Use Intranet for Any Size Business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I like the ease of use of the platform. Posting articles and updates is a breeze and I can quickly communicate timely/relevant content to the entire company.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

There is some limitation to the functionality of the platform. I also think it would be cool to include some gamification into the platform, incentivizing users to participate more actively.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Jostle is great for laying the foundation of for internal, company-wide communications. If you don't have an intranet in place, Jostle is a great platform to include in your evaluation.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are enabling a company-wide forum where all of our employees can be, and feel, connected. There is a marketplace, news updates, and a very helpful org chart with contact info.

  ### 31. Lacked the functionality to scale with our company

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy S. | Internal Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The org chart was by far the most useful feature for our company. We used it all the time. It was fairly easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

We ultimately dropped the platform because it was unable to scale with our company. We wanted more customization, easier admin controls, more navigable metrics. We expect our tools and service providers to continually improve, and we just didn't see that happening with Jostle. In addition, the customer service was fickle and in our last month, unwilling to work with us as we struggled to sunset our account with an awkward system.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Jostle is fitting for companies with limited intranet budget.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our initial purpose was to create a central repository for critical information. We did get that for the first six months or so, but our team was hesitant to use the outdated interface, and the challenge to push adoption for our team combined with lack of innovation at Jostle drove us to leave the platform.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Amy long ago you provided this 1-star review. Our only one, ever!

I'd love to hear who you switched to and how that worked out. We've certainly added a lot of features to help larger and fast-growing companies since then.

Up for a call? Please email me at brad@jostle.me. (I'm Jostle's founder and CEO)

  ### 32. Fun Intranet Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The layout is nice. You can see the latest updates and easily navigate.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I don't like that you can't @ tag a person within a NEWS item.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Get a demo from Jostle so you can see all the cool features it has to offer.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We incorporated Jostle to be able to better communicate internally. Beyond that it's really fun to see stuff that goes on with our teams around the country that we would normally not see. It makes us feel more connected.

  ### 33. Jostle = We are all on the same page!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I like how our company can communicate in real time, keeping everyone up to speed in fun, informative, and organized ways!

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

If I don't have my page up, I might miss an important announcement; notifications only on when the page is loaded in my browser.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication! It's everything! I feel more informed on various events and announcements, and I have a place to reference this information. The info provided is super helpful, especially as a recent hire!

  ### 34. Jostle Rocks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Public Relations and Communications | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I love how easy to use Jostle is and it has cut down on the number of office-wide emails.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I don't like the recent re-design of the links panel.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are eliminating phone lists and the need to constantly update them. Everything is on Jostle now!

  ### 35. Easy to use and get to stay in touch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth C. | Office manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

As a global company, jostle let’s us stay in touch with each other! We can share news, events and photos from around the world!
It’s easy to use and quick to share information.
I love having everyone’s photo so employees can see who they are talking to from different parts of the world.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

The org chart could be easier to use and more complicated as we don’t have simple structure.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Great to use and keep in touch with employees

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are staying in touch globaling, sharing information and being to able to see the employees in different parts of the world.

  ### 36. Powerful tool for sharing info across company but not as strong with the details

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Jostle instantly connects users throughout the company and makes it easy for anyone to figure out who anyone else is. Great for onboarding/orientation and sharing ideas, fostering community and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Web application is slow, mobile app feels even slower and has limited functionality.
Articles can’t be posted via mobile, which severely limits our organization’s ability to share important information.
Limited integration with other systems. We don’t really use Jostle discussions because they aren’t as simple to use or access as Hangouts or Slack.
Each thing that Jostle doesn’t do well means that staff spend less time in it which means that they get less out of it and put less into it. Things like Classified don’t get used much as a result.
Jostle’s News and Shout Outs are the main highlights for us, with the People area being used by new staff to figure out who’s who in the zoo.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

While worthy of consideration, you may find other newer platforms out there that meet your needs better. Be clear on what your needs are. Jostle does some things pretty well, others not so much.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing information across sites brings the company closer together and breaks up siloing and us vs themming. This has been a significant benefit for our company as we’ve grown.
Presenting org structure visually makes it easy for anyone to see and understand reporting relationships and teams.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> It's been a while since you posted this review.

We've been improving the mobile app, step by step. What do you see as the next must fix?

You can post News items from your phone now. That works really well.

I'd love to chat to get some up-to-date input. Up for a quick call?

Please email me at brad@jostle.me. I'm Jostle's founder and CEO.

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

Jostle is easy to use and it very fun and interactive with a great user interface

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Jostle had no immediate faults from a daily user perspective

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle allows me to communicate with all of my colleagues on a fun level and post communications fast and effectively

  ### 38. MSR

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackie L. | MSR III, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

company events, birthdays, celebrations and upcoming events of interest, things for sale

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

inability to change personal link and additional personal links

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

future scheduling

  ### 39. An intuitive, flexible, and modern intranet product that I recommend to any organziation...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The client support was unparalelled! They answered questions and concerns right away, were always available for a call, and provided unique tailored solutions for our organization. The interface is modern and easy to use for across a broad sprectrum of tech savvy skills.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Can't think of anythnig right now... Can't think of anythnig right now... Can't think of anythnig right now... Can't think of anythnig right now...

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Try it! You will not be disappointed. Consult with their team and see if it is right for you! It was received with excitement by all our staff.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to simplify a complicated library set-up and provide staff relevant/up to date information quickly!

  ### 40. Really good networking system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I like the articles the best - from an IT point of view, it is a great way to share IT tips/problems with the whole company. It is sometimes more effective than an email because you can add in polls, read receipts, images and so on.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

From an admin point of view, I feel the Teams section can be a bit clunky. It would be nice when you drop someone into a team for their job title to pull through to their default. If you change a job title on their profile, it would be nice for it to automatically pull through to Teams.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wasn't at the company before Jostle but I can see how it would solve communication problems.

  ### 41. Not quite there yet

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The Org Chart function is probably the most valuable part of the whole platform. It makes sense and is relatively easy to navigate. That's where I and my coworkers get the most value.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

It's really difficult to keep the org chart and the system update because of how you have to import new users. The news/articles function is hard to organize and make relevant and therefore leads to low engagement for our comms team. It's not as customizable as we hoped it would be. It has way too many notifications even after you pair down your settings.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

This product did not live up to the hype. It wasn't as customizable as promised. The support is a bit of a disappointment. The best feature of this is the org chart feature, but that is a bit hard to maintain.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Theoretically, we wanted this to be a central location for all communications and for organizational awareness of departments, teams, roles, etc. The org chart is really the benefit to us.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> Hi there. I'm Jostle's CEO and founder.

You left this review long ago and we've made lots of improvements since then, including fixing a number of the things you cited in this review.

I'd like to check in and see if these have helped you.

  ### 42. Jostle Allows for our Company to feel like family

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Our employees are spread out across the country as well as in India, many of us will never have the chance to meet. Jostle helps bridge the gap and makes us feel like we know each other a little better and feel like a real team. We like to personalize our posts as much as possible by posting life events of our employees. It really adds to feeling like everyone knows each other.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

It is difficult to get all of our employees onto Jostle to check things out from time to time. Company contribution in posts and participation could be better. Not necessarily Jostle's fault but many of our employees don't like the extra emails Jostle may send to them when we add articles, discussions etc.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jostle has proven to be an effective way for our company to gain feedback from our employees in regards to updated company policies, benefit information and it allows everyone to feel included in discussions.

  ### 43. Great Communication Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

I really like the fact that you can target pretty much any content to specific individuals/groups. It comes in handy, specially when sharing departmental documents.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

You can't use the list presets on the discussions.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None so far. Benefit of having all the necessary documents in one place.

  ### 44. Jostle - Short and Sweet!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Packaging and Containers | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Easy to use "User Interface" easy to post, clean, neat well organized...

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Administrative Features are decent but are organized well in my opinion and you have to know what you are looking for I want more lists of users etc...

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

The time to stand it up is considerably less than a home grown solution. It seems to have most features you would be looking for and it's pretty easy to use.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came out of the gate strong and we have since really done a poor job creating new content for users to consume. We are a very lean organization and I think the Posters/Managers just struggle to have time to post.

  ### 45. I've had a great experience using Jostle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

My favorite aspect is the teams section. Our organization is going through a lot of organizational changes and it really helps me see which department team members are in.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

I wish there was an easier way to use GIFs.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping our organization with employee engagement.

  ### 46. From an intranet with no staff engagement to a vibrant and active site in a few short months

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura S. | BIM / Technology Manager, Architecture & Planning, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The easy of posting and hosting information, a fast way to search for the things we need, the ability to track intranet traffic to see what being used via polls.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

Administrator dashboard to see stats on active pages and user engagement.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

Fast easy and quick set up. Self management is a breeze.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have most of our corporate documents in one searchable and secure place. A single source of truth.

  ### 47. A Game Changer for Companies Facing Communication Barriers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scotti T. | Customer Service Supervisor, Cosmetics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

Enjoy communication on your mobile device!

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

You are unable to add more content to the news thread.

**Recommendations to others considering Jostle:**

We reviewed many programs before choosing Jostle and we are so glad we did! It is so easy to use and was a breeze implementing to our organization.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enhance communication and visibility across our entire organization. It greatly aids in building our enjoyable culture in a format that is easy for employees to engage with.

  ### 48. End User

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The home page is easy on the eyes and navigation is very simple. It's nice to have one place for all our employees to go to for communications and documents. I like that you can do shout outs or share updates with people. We implemented single sign on which makes it easy to log into. I also set it so I get email notification each time an article is published.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

User adoption can be challenging depending on your workforce. The Share an Update or Shout Out button can often times be mistaken for the search field. This causes some very strange shout outs. We also have a lot of technical problems using JostleTV.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to find a single platform that is used as a hub for all our communication needs.

**Official Response from Brad Palmer:**

> JostleTV is just coming out of beta now. Hopefully whatever problems you encountered have been resolved. Please ping me at brad@jostle.me if you are still seeing any issues.

  ### 49. Intranet Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nina E. | HR Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2018

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

We use Jostle as a tool to communicate with our staff. We find the shout-out feed is extremely helpful in providing immediate recognition for great work, as well as inform staff quickly about community involvement events, etc.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

The only thing I wish Jostle did differently was under the "EVENTS" page, the ability to have an event say "All Day" instead of 12:00AM - 11:30PM. It says "All Day" when the event covers more than one day, but not if it's for a full one-day event.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't have any "business problems" to solve.

  ### 50. Since our company implemented Jostle I am able to find current eventswithin the company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Jostle?**

The ability to send messages to other employees and the ability to view the company calendar of events which helps me in my job.

**What do you dislike about Jostle?**

There is nothing I found to dislike about Jostle, I continue to learn how to use the new Intranet.

**What problems is Jostle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to view the Company calendar to see all events within the Company which helps me in my job.
