"Easy to use and maintain content management system"
5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

Joomla's learning curve is straight. We can easily manage and design our content to make it available online. Easy contact form setup which provides the lead directly to mail or we can download all the records as xlsx, pdf etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

The only dislike about Joomla cms is only the uploading of files in a single. There is no option for a bulk upload, or we have to use a third-party service. Sometimes the searching for modules is a bit hectic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"There are better content managers"
2/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

Joomla is a versatile content manager because it is composed of modules, which makes it very configurable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

I don't like its usability, I think there are other content managers that are more user-friendly, and that is very important when working on a website in a multidisciplinary team. Also, many of the plugins it uses are paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Most powerful CMS I have ever used"
4/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

Joomla is a robust CMS which is built with ZEND MVC framework. Joomla has many advanced-level options for each article post, module etc. If you are an advanced level user or a developer and you are planning to develop a website with CMS then I will suggest going with Joomla. The framework is pure MVC patterened so, you can customize anything as per your requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Unfortunately, nowadays developers are not contributing their works in Joomla repository. So, there are lackings of Joomla extensions compared to Wordpress plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Monthly updates for plugins and templated, Free templates are limited. A very easy target for hackers. Security is not that high, SEO is not up to mark. some timed updates crash the whole site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Awsome Opensource CRM"
5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

I like the open source that allows me to configure and re-do code to fit my own purpose. It is easy to use and easy to setup.

The system also works with articles in a great way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

The fact that it is easy to modify also makes it hard to maintain. It is almost imporssible to jump in after another coder has modified files.

Not really as userfriendly as other CRM but it really does not matter as it is so userfriendly as it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Joomla is an awesome CMS"
5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

The ability to set up a website within just a couple of hours, start to finish. Joomla includes the content management system, templates, plugins and templates, making the design and setup of a website fast and easy! And the best part? It's FREE! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

The boring default templates that come with the Joomla CMS are old and not attractive. Most decent templates can be costly, and while many have "free" versions, they don't come with presets that would make a website look professional and unique. Joomla also has security issues, and one must be VERY vigilent in managing CMS, extension, module, and component updates, to ensure the security of your websites.
