5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

It helps the user in building powerful applications and websites. It is providing thousands of free templates and extensions which allow you to customize your website or applications according to your needs. It can be used for various platforms which include portals, corporate websites, small business websites, intranets, extranets, government, non-profit websites, educational websites,

personal and family homepages, online reservations, e-commerce, school websites and many more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

It has many templates and modules but as compared to other platforms it has limited options and functions. Your website may slow down if it is large in size and having too many visitors. Some of its plugins and modules are paid. Compatibility issues may be faced between plugins. It may be difficult for users who are not familiar with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Content Management System"
4/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

Joomla is very powerful and great content management system. I really like it for my complex projects. I must say that the extension and modules are very powerful and easy to understand, you'll learn to control very quickly. The whole web development process is simple and easy while on Joomla. Joomla dashboard is pretty simple and neat and clean interface, you'll learn to manage the end product very fast due to clean GUI of this magical CMS. I. Really love the themes customizations as its simple yet you get powerful editing tools handy. For me it's my second best CMS after WordPress or I must say for complex projects it's the one and only tool I ever used. It's really easy for me when it comes to search engine optimization, e-commerce solution on the other hand you'll use powerful extensions for free. It's really easy to track content while on Joomla. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

So far I am unable to spot any issue with this beautiful and powerful Content Management System, there are few paid modules but believe me they are value for the money. As I mentioned earlier that I mostly use it for my complex and larg projects therefore it's bit heavy for simple and small scale web projects. One another issue is limited customization options. "Joomla CRM is Very Out-dated and Requires Lots of Training"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

It is very simple to understand after you get inside and work a lot in it. Would recommend having an expert to ask questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

It's really hard to navigate and figure out where each page is and to update it accordingly. The changes take a while to apply, even when you clear the cache. Can't customize the page very much. Requires some background of HTML coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Web Development Content Management System"
5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

The extensions and modules are really easy to understand and use. Now the web development process is very easy with Joomla. Joomla themes are really fabulous and awesome because we can edit the content of themes according to our content. The dashboard of Joomla is really easy to understand and use. Modules are really professionals. Without the knowledge of programming languages, we can build a very beautiful website. For me, Joomla is very important for my web development projects. Especially for my client's websites, I need a very best Search Engine Optimization result. So with Joomla, the meta settings can be implemented easily and with modules, we can change the SEO settings on the advanced level. Even I have designed a lot of E-commerce websites for my customers. So creating products, adding their prices and order settings, all these things can easily edit and change using the Joomla Dashboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Only a few extensions and modules are paid, according to my point of view there should be also free versions of these kinds of extensions. I don't think so there is any other thing which I dislike in this CMS. All other features are really awesome for this Web Development Software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Joomla CMS"
4/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

First of all, it is a free platform for building websites & online applications. JOOMLA has been very simple for non-experienced users too, one can build a ready working website in less than 1 hr.

JOOMLA comes with the most common features like SEO content format, RSS blog media, multi-language, etc.

Easy to keep track of web content with Joomla.

It is best for sites with more content and structure flexibility.

Extension directory GED

JOOMLA is well-coded - MVC structure (Model-View-Controller) - important when one needs to create their own extensions or customize the design.

in JOOMLA, using the admin area (superuser) is simple.

Amazing JOOMLA templates - JEDI - multifunctional JOOMLA template Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Heavy for simple & small websites. JOOMLA doesn’t have template directory, comparatively fewer plug-ins than other CMS

When it comes to Upgrading to major version: though the JOOMLA upgrade process simplified in years, it still takes technical know-how to overcome it. For certain script, Joomla requires certain plugins.

Also, customization is very limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Creating a website has never been so simple"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

Joomla is a content management system distributed for free. This feature already makes it very appealing compared to other competitors. The community that surrounds this platform is truly large, which allows for very robust support. As for the technical aspects, it has nothing to envy from other CMSs. In fact, there are numerous plugins available that allow you to create websites in no time. Moreover, if you have the skills, it is possible to easily modify the code to ensure customization of the various modules. Finally, regarding the graphic aspect, it must be said that the templates provided offer a decent user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Joomla was created to allow for really rapid web page development. However, some negative aspects must be taken into consideration. During the version update phase, it is necessary to check the compatibility of the various installed modules. In fact, it has happened that following an update, numerous modules were no longer compatible with the new version. In a production environment, it was a disaster to restore the entire website. The templates available are numerically fewer compared to other platforms, so a web graphics expert is needed to meet the clients' requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Joomla has provided our development team with tools for faster deployment"
4/5
What do you like best about Joomla?

The development package is not that large and can downloaded very fast. Many of the key web browser and scripts that are used for common responsive functionality and web page action features can be enabled smoothly with the Joomla system. There are many themes and other design assets we can use from paid and free libraries throughout the internet. I like that Joomla is constantly keeping in stride with the most recent internet browser standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Joomla?

Compared to a web builder that has mostly front-end development tools with one-click implementation of most components, Joomla requires more of a programming background in order to develop websites with the complete capabilities of the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
