Join It brings everything you need to manage memberships into one place: a member database, online sign-up forms, recurring billing, automated renewal reminders, lapsed-member follow-up, digital membership cards, event registration, member check-in, and a self-service member portal. No spreadsheets, no duct-taped integrations, no manual chasing. It connects with the tools most membership organizations already use - Stripe, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, Zapier, QuickBooks, WordPress, Wix, and Squarespace - so you do not have to change how your whole operation works to get started. It's definitely an improvement over our previous system. The platform is not only quicker but also provides us with more information. **What do you dislike about Join It?** Initially, getting used to the system was a bit challenging. We had some problems configuring the system for members who pay by standing order, as it prefers card payments. Although we prefer card payments too, stopping standing order payments is difficult without losing members, but the system is coping with this fine. Additionally, we weren't keen on some of the automatic email terminology and had to personalize it to avoid automatic phrasing. **What problems is Join It solving and how is that benefiting you?** Join It handles membership management, renewals, and payments efficiently for our amenity society. Their free version actually provides a good amount of functionality. Very good for: 1) Membership database 2) Easy member joining functionality 3) Eventbrite and mailchimp integration **What do you dislike about Join It?** For some of our needs, we had to go to external software providers and Join It does not yet have the ability to integrate with these providers via an API. Some of the 'nice-to-have' functionality is limited, relative to other premium service offerings. **Recommendations to others considering Join It:** If you have a big budget and a large staff, consider going with a more robust offering. Join It has everything you need, but just not all the bells and whistles of some other products. **What problems is Join It solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to move our membership out of a legacy excel spreadsheet, and hopefully upgrade our communication, event, and payment technology. I now spend zero hours a week maintaining our membership database.
