JobLog Filter is a free Chrome extension that helps job seekers review and compare listings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor. It adds compact visual signals directly to job cards, making it easier to identify opportunities worth a closer look while browsing familiar job boards. The extension uses information already visible on supported pages, such as listing age, applicant competition, and hiring-status indicators when available. Users can adjust thresholds for applicant competition and listing age to match their priorities, then choose between color markers with short explanations or a simpler color-only display. Job listings remain visible and retain their original order. JobLog Filter provides five easy-to-read states: - Positive: Available listing information meets the user’s selected thresholds. - Caution: A listing may be older or more competitive than the user prefers. - Warning: A visible value exceeds a selected threshold. - New to you: A listing has not appeared in the user’s recent local browsing history. - No data: The listing remains neutral because the page does not provide enough reliable information. These signals help users make an initial assessment before opening a full job description. Available information varies across platforms and individual listings. The extension does not estimate missing values or predict hiring outcomes. “New to you” identifies a listing the user has not recently encountered; it does not necessarily mean the employer has just published it. JobLog Filter checks newly loaded job cards as users scroll through search results. This supports repeated searches and longer browsing sessions without requiring users to assess every visible detail manually. Job seekers remain in control of which opportunities they investigate and where they apply. Privacy is built into the product’s design. Job-card information is processed inside the browser. Preferences use Chrome Sync, while recently seen job identifiers are stored locally for up to 30 days and can be cleared through the extension. Job-card data, search queries, browsing history, and stored job identifiers are not sent to JobLog or third parties. Privacy details. JobLog Filter is free to use and requires no account. It is a standalone extension, separate from JobLog Autofill & Tracker, and focuses on reviewing listings before applying. Application autofill and tracking belong to the separate JobLog product. JobLog Filter does not submit applications automatically
