"A Great Platform That Needs An Overhaul!"

What do you like best about JobBOSS²?

JobBOSS itself has a great variety of features that allow you to organize data in a manner that is customizable. It can be as simple or as complex as you want to make it. In my case with my employer, we used it to organize fixtures for CNC machines as well as any overstock parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JobBOSS²?

While JobBOSS is an awesome piece of software, it does have a fairly large learning curve. While I get that its main focus is comercial use, it needs an overhaul in a few key areas. The user interface needs to be easier to navigate with the added feature of explaining what some of functions do. Additionally, preset and customizable keys would make it a lot easier to complete certain tasks and improve efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JobBOSS² solving and how is that benefiting you?

With JobBOSS I have been able to create an organized database of a variety of parts from the ground up. However, due to the complexity of the software I also had to train some of my co workers on how to understand the way I organized the data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about JobBOSS²?

Overall this canned software was very user friendly. Spent little time getting to know the package and its capabilities. The Inventory and the distribution were very powerful for any small or large business. Highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JobBOSS²?

The reports and reporting on the version that I was working with, was very week. Tried creating a query through access without success. Not a show stopper, just wanted to use important information that pertained to our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering JobBOSS²:

Review the reporting capabilities and the ability to use a third party software such as Crystal Report Writer. Everything else was very satisfactory for daily usage and capturing data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JobBOSS² solving and how is that benefiting you?

The problems I was working through, was the ability to capture inventory, both raw and finished goods, in real time. What do you dislike about JobBOSS²?

The user community was undeveloped when I used JobBoss. They need to gather those with experience and allow the newbies to borrow wisdom & skill.

I recommend using case studies to show dramatic impact. That is, JobBoss will recognize situations where thier software will excell. The story of those users could be written as a case-study. It would provide dramatic advertising copy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about JobBOSS²?

I like how easy to use E2 is. The way in which E2 is set up makes my job as estimator much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JobBOSS²?

The only thing that I am not fond of about E2 is that the information for a part does not automatically change in a quote if I have to revise some bit of information about the part. Other than that, I have no complaints about using E2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
