Seems like you can book about a month in advance, so I tend to block book my prefered desk in this way. The 'hardest' part in the set-up is the integration with Microsoft - but the manuals are widely available. The customer support is exceptional, they are always willing to help with any problems. The fact that there are numerous features such as visitor management and detailed reporting increases productivity within the office. It has helped to make our operations efficient and order than before. I especially like how it saves time in our daily functioning by organizing meeting rooms and making sure they are ready for use when required. **What do you dislike about Joan?** One weakness of Joan is that the application tasks may also lag at times when synchronizing with other programs and therefore may cause scheduling awkwardness. This has made lack us a few meetings hence disrupting our work flow. However, the first time of putting it in place was a tasking one and it also took some time before everybody got used to it. And if i don't know someone, I like looking who booked that desk so i know who they are instead of asking because i forgot their name. The office map is truly my favorite feature. I like that i can use it in my phone and desktop depending on where i am, and can use it daily if I am going to be around our office (i'm mostly a remote worker) If I've booked a room, i get notifications for said room which is quite convenient as well. **What do you dislike about Joan?** I've encountered many bugs - sometimes only on the phone app, sometimes on browser, which makes the usage a bit painful sometimes (way too often i feel). I dislike the fact that i have to check-in every time. Although i understand we need this for security reasons, I'd like it if it was a less manual process - such as automatic wifi detection, an nfc tag on the desk i could just tap. I am also still waiting for a slack integration that would ease booking and check-in process, as well as automatically change my slack status when i'm checked in at a desk. **What problems is Joan solving and how is that benefiting you?** As I said, it's helping me know who is in the office and i can choose where i sit depending on who's there.
