What do you like best about JMP?

Easy to learn and use. Can be used to analyse almost every kind of data. A comprehensive statistics analysis tool. Ease of Importing data. Data output is trustworthy by many companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JMP?

Although it's easier for a professional to understand and use jmp, new comers can find it difficult to understand various parameters in the functionality to perform reliable data analysis. Also, it can be tricky to understand complex data output if the parameters are different than other similar softwares. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

I'm currently studying masters (MBA) and often need to perform data analysis of variety of business statistics data for reports and assessments. With no prior coding experience, JMP makes my work easier as basic and complex analysis are just few easy clicks away. What do you like best about JMP?

Flexibility. Speed to get insights. We can see the developers want to include useful features for various fields of applications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JMP?

When a proposed solution is close to perfect, but not yet there. (example, I waited so long to have prediction intervals in the prediction profiler :-) Now there are there. Next step would be to have a simulator able to simulate from the closed-form predictive distribution (degrees of freedom and design region) to compute the P(defect)). Yes, prediction intervals have been added to the Prediction Profiler in JMP 18, and we’ve added other functionality to make it easier to explore models with the Profiler. "JMP: A Game Changer for Analyzing Handling Delays in Logistics"

What do you like best about JMP?

While working with logistics & supply chain, we explored a few potential usecaess and found it useful mainly in analysing the handling delays. We used the aggregate anonymised data captured by handheld devices for the analysis. Below are what we liked:

- Interactive Visuals: Dynamic charts helped instantly see trends and patterns in handling times.

- Large Aggregate Data: Easy to handle large datasets. We worked with anonymized data from thousands of packages.

- Optimization Insights: Gave us clear insights on optimizing processes. In the PoC on past date, it could help reduce handling delays by about 16% in a month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JMP?

Initial Learning Curve: It took us a while to get comfortable with the software. New users needed some training. SInce it's not something we used earlier, it took some implementation & integration effort.

Expensive: I could never use it for my personal projects, would appreciate an affordable option. Otherwise it would continue to be infrequent usage from our side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

JMP is helping us tackle significant challenges in our logistics and supply chain operations, particularly handling delays. By analyzing the aggregate anonymized data from our handheld devices, we can:

Identify Delay Hotspots: Quickly spot where most delays are occurring, whether at specific warehouses or during certain times of the day.

Improve Efficiency: By understanding the root causes of delays, we can implement targeted improvements. This has led to a 15% reduction in handling delays, speeding up our entire delivery process.

Data-Driven Decisions: JMP’s robust analysis tools allow us to make informed decisions based on actual data, rather than guesswork. This has improved our operational strategies and customer satisfaction.

"The best tool out there for data visualization and design of experiments"

What do you like best about JMP?

Working with data can be time-consuming or frustrating, but JMP makes seeing and understanding your data interactive and easy with intuitive drop-down menus and flexible graphics.

In my job, I helped scientists and engineers design and execute experiments - JMP has world-class options for many different scenarios that are backed by solid research. When you select a design created by JMP, it is easy to have confidence that it is the right tool for the job.

When I have questions and want to do something new in JMP, the user-community and built in resources make it easy to learn how to execute the new method. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JMP?

If you are using the wealth of standard statistical tools and graphics, then nothing could be easier to implement. However, occasionally I will have a very specific tool in mind, and then I find programming in some other packages a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is JMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

Strategic data collection is one of the best investments that you can make in successfully executing a study. JMP makes designing a data collection strategy through design of experiments or sampling straightforward and flexible to match the constraints and needs of the study.
