Vinyl's secret sauce is its ability to connect to many different data connections and bring them into a single streamlined interface. Using one IDE for links to APIs, SFTP, Veeva, etc., has increased our speed and flexibility in delivering complex solutions.

Vinyl has a learning curve, but nothing is more extreme than any other platform. However, some features are not intuitive and are not always fully documented.
