Our experience with Jirav has been collaborative and productive. The user interface is integrative and highly customizable, allowing us to create convenient snapshots that hone in on key metrics used by our team to guage performance. Our team has found great success utilizing the planning feature to aid with budgeting and forecasting, and Jirav is a convenient method for department heads to guage their monthly spend. Most significantly, the Jirav implementation team is extremely collaborative and helped create a variety of customized tables so that we can focus on the metrics unique to our business (thank you Corey!). So far we've experienced relatively few reasons to dislike Jirav. On seldom occasions the system has either "hung up" for a period of time as new changes are saved or (very infrequently) has frozen. The process for creating drivers (formulas) and cutomized tables does take some getting used to, but that is where the implementation serivces shine as the Jirav team walks you through the system and takes your input and creates functions and tables for you. Bonus forecasting is not tied to individual employees, this has to be set up separately which is inneficient as you add and remove employees. Forecasting for a hire and then remembering to update table once hired so that the salary is not double counted rather than being able to sinked/matched.

Jirav could definite­ly improve how it handles large datase­ts. There are time­s when it struggles a bit with processing huge­ amounts of data, causing delays. This can really be an issue­ during peak periods when we­ need quick access to financial information. The software is welll designed and appears to be created by actual accountants. The forecasting software has an intuitive interface, beautiful in appearance and knows that every debit also has a credit. During my initial exploration of the software I noticed the intro does not offer guidance on forecasting long-term debt, which I found surprising as all my existing forecast work requires running amortization schedules and forecasting debt. I highly recommend Jirav as a reporting tool. We've been using Jirav since early this year, and it's changed the way I create and distribute reports throughout our organization. I use it to prepare our monthly/quarterly board reports, month end financial reviews, forecasting, bva review, and daily/weekly/monthly dashboards.

There's a few requests that I've already reached out to Jirav to discuss that would make the software even more useful. One of my requests is a percentage of income column in my reporting.
