## Jira Reviews
  ### 1. Great for Keeping Projects on Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sachin J. | LFX Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I appreciate most about Jira is how it helps keep everything organized. Tracking tasks, bugs, and the overall progress of a project is straightforward since it’s all managed in one place. I also enjoy the high level of customization available—you can adjust workflows, dashboards, and automation to fit your team’s specific needs. Additionally, the integrations with tools such as Confluence and GitHub make daily work more seamless, as everything remains connected.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can be quite overwhelming initially, as it offers a wide range of features that may make the interface confusing for new users. Setting up workflows and managing permissions can also be time-consuming and sometimes seem unnecessarily complex. Additionally, the mobile app lacks some important features that are available in the web version.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira keeps my team organized by clearly displaying who is responsible for each task and the current status of our work. This transparency helps minimize confusion, ensures that deadlines are well understood, and simplifies the management of larger projects. In general, it improves our communication and enables us to deliver our work more efficiently.

  ### 2. Task Organization and Progress Tracking That Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergielena C. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

That you can organize yourself and assign tasks to people and monitor the progress which makes the workers stay focused and more productive

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

That sometimes you may misclick something and it gets saved automatically. A pop up confirmation would help

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The assignment of tasks ti each person and checking their progress. Saves me time

  ### 3. Powerful Admin Visibility and Log Tracking in Jira

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Apurv G. | IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like most about Jira is that, as an administrator, I can view all the logs and keep an eye on all the processes.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It feels too complex, especially when we have too many tickets. Finding an older one in the list is kind of time-consuming. Suggestion: sorting we have it, but I still feel it needs more enhancement.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting all the member son one dining table for dinner.

  ### 4. Reliable and Feature-Rich, But Slowed Down by Performance Issues

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savaş Furkan A. | Network Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like that Jira makes technical work traceable. Features, bugs, design discussions—they all live in one place, so nothing slips through the cracks. The workflow engine is predictable, and once it’s configured properly, it forces structure in teams that would otherwise drift. The integrations with Git, CI/CD, Slack, and Confluence reduce context-switching, which saves real time. It isn’t pretty, but it’s reliable, and reliability wins in engineering work.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira’s biggest weakness is speed. Large projects, heavy boards, or complex workflows make the interface crawl. Simple actions—opening an issue, switching filters, loading a board—take longer than they should. That latency breaks focus, especially when you’re moving fast in an engineering workflow. The tool is powerful, but the performance overhead gets in the way of actually getting work done.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It centralises all ticketing—incidents, requests, tasks, changes—into one workflow. That means nothing gets lost in Slack messages or email threads. Each ticket has clear ownership, priority, and history, so decisions and actions are traceable.

  ### 5. Jira Makes Ticket Tracking and Customer Replies Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farhad H. | Senior NOC Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The best thing about Jira is its platform and the ticket management system. I can easily track the ticket and assign to concern person/team via Jira. Also the system allows to reply to the customers directly as well as put internal comments.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

To be honestly its an awesome one, nothing to dislike about it.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira easily manage all the internal and external tickets, keep track of them also show the timeline to complete the task.

  ### 6. Powerful for Project Management, Challenging Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira as a software project management tool and really appreciate how it keeps my team's data and work organized in one location, making potential problems easily solvable. One of the things I like most about Jira is that it's a household name with lots of integrations available. It also helps a lot in putting together all the information on tasks and tracking the progress of projects efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It's a quite vast tool which makes it not so simple for the initial setup and the learning curve is a bit steep.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to keep team data and tasks in one place, making potential problems easily solvable and tracking project progress clearer.

  ### 7. Great for Tracking Ticket History and Chains of Events.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rampukar R. | Frontend Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira becomes particularly handy when one needs to find out who was performing certain actions and when these actions took place. I tend to use it quite often for mapping the chain of events for a ticket, instead of analyzing its status.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes, during ticket duplication, some unnecessary information can be included that will have to be removed manually later.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What is most important, there is an excellent traceability feature. Every change, update, or any other activity performed is saved, thus, making any subsequent check more reliable.

  ### 8. Hands on experience on JIRA

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitesh Y. | Python Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

compatibility to integrate with a lot of tools are very help full, i use it with github. repoting and dashboard are very helpfull.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

at first setting up JIra can be tough, it has so much things to customize

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps us manage our project and track issues. It makes communication so much easier, and actions are clearly accountable across the team. Overall, it keeps everything transparent.

  ### 9. Great for Collaboration but Can Be Overwhelming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garima V. | Senior Manager - Training and Placement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like that Jira solves many practical problems that people face while managing work, progress, projects, or teams. One feature I appreciate is how it handles scattered communication and missed deadlines. Information being spread across emails, WhatsApp, meetings, or documents can be a real issue, so I love that with Jira, comments, files, updates, and discussions are attached directly to each task. It really helps in keeping projects from getting delayed.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One limitation of Jira is that it can feel complex and overwhelming sometimes for new users, especially for small teams that only need simple task management. The interface and setup process should be simplified a bit.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps manage tasks, track bugs, and collaborate within a team. It solves unmanaged bugs, tracking issues, task clarity, and meeting deadlines by attaching comments, files, and updates directly to tasks, preventing delays.

  ### 10. Effortless Project and Bug Tracking with Jira

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how Jira makes it easy to use and track issues and new projects. The ease of use is something I really appreciate. I find the ability to create multiple boards to track different projects very valuable.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes it won’t let me click into a card, so I have to refresh the page and try again. Fixing a few small bugs like this would make it better overall.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Jira easy to use for both project tracking and bug tracking. It makes it simple to track issues and new projects, and it helps my team work quickly and efficiently because everyone knows what they need to tackle next.

  ### 11. Powerful Project Management with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish D. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like most about Jira is its flexibility and strong support for agile project management. The customizable workflows, issue types, and boards allow teams to tailor the platform to their specific processes, which makes it suitable for both simple and complex projects. The sprint planning and backlog management features are especially useful for organizing priorities and tracking progress in a structured way. I also appreciate the clear visibility Jira provides through dashboards, reports, and timelines, which helps teams stay aligned and make data-driven decisions. Additionally, its integration with tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, and various CI/CD platforms improves collaboration and keeps development workflows connected in a single ecosystem.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

While Jira is powerful, there are a few areas that could be improved. The interface can sometimes feel complex and overwhelming, especially for new users who are not familiar with agile workflows or project management tools. Setting up projects, workflows, and permissions often requires significant configuration, which can be time consuming without proper guidance. Performance may also slow down in larger projects with many issues or extensive customizations. Additionally, reporting and dashboard setup can feel less intuitive than expected, often requiring extra effort to customize meaningfully. Simplifying the user experience and reducing administrative overhead would make Jira more accessible and efficient for both technical and non-technical teams.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira for project management and issue tracking, helping me plan, organize, and monitor tasks. It solves project coordination, task visibility, and workflow management challenges, reducing confusion and improving transparency. Jira's agile features streamline collaboration and ensure teams are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

  ### 12. Organized, Transparent Task Tracking with Customizable Boards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Being able to track tasks efficiently with boards and customizable workflows makes project management feel far more organized and transparent, and it’s easier to see what’s happening at each stage.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface and configuration options can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with project management tools.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps address the challenge of managing tasks and tracking project progress across teams. By organizing work into boards, tickets, and workflows, it makes it easier to monitor status, assign responsibilities clearly, and reduce confusion about what needs to happen next. As a result, collaboration improves and teams can complete projects more efficiently.

  ### 13. Transforms Project Management with AI and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash M. | Senior Data Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how well Jira's new AI features are implemented, with the ability to connect to GitHub actions for code review status. I also appreciate how a task can be quantified using story points, details, and epics. Jira makes project management easy, especially with the breakdown of projects from epics to stories to subtasks, which really simplifies the workflow. Additionally, I like how Jira displays various formats like code, links, and charts from Miro, etc.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

AI suggestions can be better, and while I like how Jira displays various formats, it could be more graphically appealing.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira makes project management easy by allowing projects to be broken down from epics to stories to subtasks, simplifying work.

  ### 14. Essential Tool for Agile Teams and Seamless Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asim S. | Software Engineer I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

We rely heavily on Jira every day to manage our product tickets, as we follow Agile Methodology. As a software developer, I find it helpful for tracking, managing, and logging my engineering work, from gathering requirements all the way to deployment. I appreciate how easy it is to create sub-tasks, log working hours, add comments, and review ticket history. The ability to create multiple boards and customize workflows for different processes is also very useful. We use Jira to prioritize work, maintain sprints, and conduct retrospective meetings using the board. I also use ROVO AI to rewrite descriptions, generate text, and fix my phrases.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira is an industry-grade software with extensive integrations and specialized terminology. However, I feel there is a significant lack of awareness among developers about how to use it effectively. Often, people are unsure how to navigate the system and become confused by the processes involved. With so many attributes to fill in—both mandatory and optional fields—it can be overwhelming, and I think there should be a way to simplify these options. Additionally, when dealing with dependent tickets and relationships between them, managing everything can become quite hectic. I believe that having a visual diagram would be helpful, especially when handling complex relationships between tickets.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team uses the agile methodology and depends on Jira during our daily standup calls to discuss blockers, share updates on our work, and review upcoming tasks. This process benefits product managers, developers, QA, and the scrum master by helping them plan, track, and manage OKR items. It also plays a key role in keeping the team aligned, making sure everyone collaborates effectively to fulfill their individual responsibilities. We also use automations to pick up tickets that needs to be test on specific environments and maybe deployed using the ticket fields. We also have a board to track RCA items that causes product downtimes.

  ### 15. Great for Tracking Work, Needs Performance Boosts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shaik J. | Lead Scrum Master, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira for backlog management and Sprint execution, solving visibility issues by providing a real-time view of work progress, blockers, and Sprint health. I appreciate the flexibility to customize workflows and dashboards, as this allows me to tailor them according to my team's needs. This workflow customization ensures clarity in transitions and expectations across the lifecycle of an issue, story, or task. I find that the dashboards visually pull all this data together, allowing me to track my team's progress at a glance. Furthermore, the initial setup was straightforward, which helped me get started quickly with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I experience performance lag at times when working on larger projects or multiple boards. This becomes particularly evident when dealing with large backlogs, switching between views, filtering issues, or running reports, as Jira tends to load slowly under these conditions.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to manage backlogs and execute sprints, solving visibility issues with real-time work progress and customizable workflows, ensuring clear transitions. Dashboards visually track team progress at a glance.

  ### 16. Jira a tool for Project management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vishal P. | Software Test Engineer, Insurance, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira offers incredible flexibility when it comes to creating custom workflows. It is a powerful tool for issue and bug tracking, and its extensive integrations with other tools make it even more versatile. Additionally, Jira provides strong support for agile methodologies.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira's complexity and steep learning curve make it challenging to use, especially when setting up large projects. It can be difficult to configure everything properly, and users often require training to understand and utilize its features effectively.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira is assisting us in tracking our project progress, starting from the requirements phase through to development. This gives us a clearer view of the project's status and helps us plan for the future. Additionally, Jira supports us with the customization of tasks, making it easier to adapt to our specific needs.

  ### 17. Jira Keeps Complex Work Clear, Trackable, and Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siddharth P. | Tier 3 Sr. Support Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The best part of Jira is how it organizes complex work into clear, trackable tasks that keep teams aligned and projects moving.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can feel overly complex at times, and simple tasks often take more clicks than they should.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps organize, track, and prioritize work in a structured way, which makes it easier to stay aligned, resolve issues faster, and keep projects moving smoothly.

  ### 18. Unified and efficient collaboration with Jira's digital features.

Jira is one of my favorite work applications because it offers top quality enterprise digital resources and features for collaborating with my entire team and unifying all my work processes.

I can also say that Jira stands out for centralizing all its work resources facilitating digital integration with my operating systems and virtual work applications.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I think Jira is a high performance virtual work application, I have nothing negative to say about the quality of all its virtual work features and tools.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Jira's digital work tools and features, I have been able to improve collaboration with my entire team and unify all my technical processes, facilitating the adoption of new business plans and strategies.

  ### 19. Effortless Project Organization and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santhoshi K. | Software Test Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira is great for keeping everything structured. I like how easy it is to link stories, bugs, test cases, and subtasks together. The boards give a clear picture of the sprint status, and filters make it simple to find exactly what I need. Integrations with other tools (like Bitbucket and test management plugins) also make my daily work smoother.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Some parts of Jira can feel slow or a bit overwhelming, especially when there are too many workflows or custom fields in the project. The UI also takes time to get used to for new users. But once you understand it, it becomes much easier.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps my team stay organized, especially when dealing with multiple tickets, sprints, and releases. It keeps development and QA aligned so nothing gets missed. For me as a tester, it’s useful for tracking the full lifecycle of a ticket from creation to testing to closure.

  ### 20. Feature-Rich Project Management with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautam S. | Salesforce Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Its is the best Project Management Software I have used so far with lot of features and customization. Like for project management it has story tracking, time entries, reports on these, sprint wise segregation which helps us to follow agile practices. It can be integrated with a lot of products like github, slack, excel which we use in day to day activities.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The UI of this app changes frequently like in every few months the whole UI is revamped which takes my effort to again find that tab. Also they have removed the my work item tab which used to show me all the tasks assigned to me.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamlessly helps us in tracking our client projects. Also by giving its access to client they are also able to track the sprint progress and help in priorities and depriorties stories.

  ### 21. Industry-Standard Task/Bug Tracking Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It's basically industry standard. Every developer (or Product Manager) knows the tools - onboarding is therefore a breeze. Therefore, managing tasks is easy - no need to explain anything. The Ease of Use is just awesome.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It's hard to find something that I don't like. Since I'm working in Software Engineering and IT in general, I use Jira - most of my customers use Jira. So, I'm so used to everything. If I need to find something that is not perfect is the way to find stuff. E.g., I'm not working in one specific project - I'm a Sales Engineer and cover multiple products. If a customer reports an issue (or I find something), it's sometimes difficult to find the right project and stay on top of the progress. I believe this is also tied to how we use the product (e.g., consistent naming conventions) and leveraging dashboards the right way.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira allows us to manage the backlog for our products and the result tasks (development, documentation, bugs, etc). For me, since I'm not part of the Development team, I can get a view of what's going on - which bugs are fixed in which version, what workarounds might be there and what new things are coming.

  ### 22. Powerful Agile Planning and Clear Story Tracking Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** amit u. | Supervisor Cloud and Data ops, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Strong agile project management with backlog and sprint planning, plus story tracking that gives clear visibility into work progress. The workflows are also highly customizable, which makes it easy to adapt the process to how my team works.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The UI feels complex for beginners, with too many configuration options. Non-technical users often struggle to navigate it and figure out the right settings.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JIRA helps us create tickets across various projects, track the workflow, and monitor reports and overall work progress efficiently.

  ### 23. Automation Powerhouse, but Complex Configuration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash K. | Student ( or a online shop), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I love the automation in Jira as it removes human error and makes sure no work gets stuck because someone forgot to click a button. This automation is really helpful when tasks automatically move from 'In Progress' to 'Ready for Testing' upon completion, which ensures smooth workflow. I appreciate Jira's stability and traceability, as it acts like a 'long-term memory' for my development team, preventing regression. The initial setup of Jira is fast and simple, taking less than 10 minutes with pre-built Scrum or Kanban templates, allowing teams to get started quickly without needing an expert. I also find value in using Team-Managed Spaces, which give individual teams the power to control settings without the need for a professional Jira Administrator. Furthermore, integrating Jira with Slack is beneficial as it avoids the need to constantly check Jira by providing notifications directly in Slack, and allows tasks to be managed right from Slack messages.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

While Jira is a powerhouse, it’s far from perfect. There are several areas that could be significantly improved. One issue is the 'Configuration Trap' due to its complexity. Jira is so customizable that it’s easy to over-engineer it. The problem is that many teams create 'subway map' workflows with 15 different steps just to finish one task, which leads to clutter and slows down actual progress. Another complaint is that Jira feels more like a tool for managers than for the people actually doing the work, as it requires manual updates. If an engineer fixes a bug and forgets to update the status in Jira, the data becomes 'lying data', which worries project managers even though the work is actually finished.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to manage software development sprints, ensuring no bug is forgotten and fixes are tested. Its automation reduces human error and prevents work from getting stuck. It serves as a long-term memory for the team, preventing regression.

  ### 24. Efficient Project Management Made Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yannick K. | Infrastructure Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how simple Jira is to use and how you can break it down into different team areas and also link projects and incidents. I also like how you can customize workflows to work for you and what's best for your teams. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to manage the different stages of tickets that I raised.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The permission scheme is the only problem. Got a few issues there.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira for project management, where everything is logged. It helps project managers upload tickets, scope out projects, and assign them to teams. I like its simplicity and customization for workflows and linking projects, making it effective for different team areas.

  ### 25. Makes Task and Deadline Tracking Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yeseniia B. | Compliance Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It helps to track our tasks and deadlines

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The kanban board and Project board might be more intuitive

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without utilizing Jira it would be very hard to cooperate with other teams on the the same task or project, it would require different tables and reports, Jira merges it all in one place. It helps us reaching our goal with clear timestamps.

  ### 26. Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mashood K. | Renewal Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I have been using Jira for the past year, and what I appreciate most is its tracking capability. We rely on it for managing tech-related issues, and whenever any team creates a Jira ticket, it becomes very easy to track and resolve the issue quickly. Anyone can update the ticket through other software as well, which adds to its convenience. Jira is also beginner-friendly and very easy to use, from creating a ticket to assigning it. Overall, it is a wonderful software. Thank you, team Jira.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I haven't found anything wrong with it so far. It has been helpful in completing my tasks and resolving issues, which is important both for me and my team. I have no negative thoughts about it.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team and I use Jira to manage technical issues, and it also helps other teams track them easily, ensuring that we never miss any customer experience problems. It saves us a lot of time, as we can create and assign an issue to the relevant team or member in just 10 seconds. For technical issues, Jira is always our first and only choice.

  ### 29. Powerful Boards and Seamless Integrations for Effortless Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jane Rachma K. | IT Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira stand out for its powerful kanban boards and scrum boards what work best for me in workflow visualization. The customization options are another real deal for example ,I liked that I can tailor boards and automation to fit almost any process.Great for visualizing projects ,assigning tasks and tracking progress in a way that keep team members on the same page. It's integration with other Atlassian platforms ge Confluence and Bitbucket is seamless and the reporting capabilities for example cumulative flow diagrams, velocity reports and burn-down charts gives deep insights for tracking progress and performance of projects.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The initial set up of Jira needs a solid understanding of Jira's configuration options which for a new user can be overwhelming.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira provide transparent workflow. The ability to track projects in one place while maintaining complete visibility into tasks, deadlines and team responsibilities has greatly transformed how we work.

  ### 30. Unmatched Customization and Integration Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The strongest advantage of Jira is how customizable and adaptable it is. Teams can modify workflows, screens, fields, and permissions to match exactly how their process works. Scrum teams benefit from its sprint boards, burndown charts, backlog grooming, and story point tracking. The ability to integrate with tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, Slack, Confluence, and CI/CD systems makes Jira a central hub for planning and tracking work from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira's biggest drawback is its complexity. The interface can be dense, especially for new users who see many menus and configuration options. Setting up workflows, screens, and custom rules might require deep knowledge or admin support. If a workspace has been poorly configured over time, Jira can become cluttered with unnecessary issue types, long forms, and confusing statuses.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of unorganized project work. Without Jira, teams often rely on scattered information across tools like Excel sheets, emails, and chat threads, making it difficult to track responsibilities and deadlines. Jira provides a structured and transparent system where everyone knows what they are working on, deadlines are clear, priorities are visible, progress is measurable, and collaboration becomes easier. Managers get visibility into team capacity and project status, while contributors get clarity on their individual tasks.

  ### 31. A reliable project management platform that keeps teams organized and on-track.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aniket D. | Graphic Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like most about Jira is how well it organizes the entire workflow for our team. Tasks, Bugs, sprints, everything stays in one place. The agile boards are extremely easy to follow, and it becomes clear very quickly who is working on what and where the bottlenecks are. The customization options are a big plus. You can design your own workflows, create custom issue types, and adapt Jira to match the team's style instead of forcing everyone into a fixed structure. Integrations are solid as well... IT connects smoothly with slick, github, Bitbucket, confluence and even design tools. I personally didn't integrated it with other software but the dev team and managing team had experience and they they have good feedback about it. Getting started was easier than expected, with ready-made project templates and guided setup our team and running quickly. The documentation and community support are impressive. Even when we had questions about workflow or automations, we found answers almost immediately. We used Jira almost daily.... from backlog grooming and sprint planning to tracking bugs and releases. It has basically become the backbone of our project workflow.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface can feel overwhelming at first, I mean the first time I logged in it does feel like that. It took some time to get accustomed. Even our new team members who are not familiar with agile tools. Some advanced configurations also require more time to understand. Performance can slow down a bit with very large projects.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Jira to manage our development and tracking cycles. It keeps our team aligned in real time.

  ### 32. Jira: The Team’s Memory Into Action

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sharath kumar N. | Senior engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira is basically the team’s memory.

People forget. Slack scrolls away. Meetings blur together. Jira remembers. It remembers why a task exists, who touched it last, what broke when, and what still isn’t done (even if everyone pretends otherwise). It takes vague ideas like “we should fix this someday” and turns them into something with a name, a status, and a very public sense of guilt.

Also, Jira doesn’t care about opinions. If it’s not in Jira, it doesn’t exist. If it is in Jira, it will eventually be dealt with. And it adapts to how your team actually works, not the other way around. You can shape workflows, statuses, and rules to match real processes. It keeps a clear trail from idea to release, so when something breaks or decisions get questioned, the history is right there. Everyone—devs, QA, product, and managers—sees the same work with shared visibility. It supports Agile naturally with boards, sprints, and backlogs, and it connects smoothly with tools like Git, Confluence, Slack, and CI/CD, so work stays in one flow instead of getting scattered. From recent times we almost using Agile methodology so that we can plan and schedule a long term project in a client friendly environmental process to track the development and quality and service in a efficient way .

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

In Jira, when I raise a new defect for the same sprint or project, every time I still need to add the same labels, fields, and workflow, and also add viewers. It’s the same setup for the project, but I still have to remember everything and add it again each time. It feels very time-wasting, and sometimes it makes time management difficult.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira’s value is in making complex, multi-person work visible and accountable. The downside is that when teams over-configure it, the tool starts serving the process instead of the people.

Problem it solves: chaos, missed tasks, unclear ownership, and lack of visibility. How it helps: it provides one place to track work, priorities, and progress. And coordination across teams at scale.it adds overhead and can slow things down when it’s overused.

  ### 33. Create an effective and efficient collaboration space with Jira's digital features.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy F. | Events and Activities Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira is an amazing teamwork system that facilitates business collaboration throughout your organization, promoting communication tools and improving the execution of all your professional activities.

I can also say that Jira is a system I choose to coordinate my work projects and visualize my professional progress, improving my performance and business productivity.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I have nothing bad to say about Jira's virtual work features and tools, I can recommend using all of its resources for their quality and technical efficiency.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira is the system that has allowed me to improve the control and management of all my work projects, facilitating business collaboration and communication in my work area and improving my productivity and professional performance.

  ### 34. Unmatched Flexibility and Customization for Agile Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The best part about Jira is its depth and flexibility. You can customize everything: workflows, issue types, fields, automations, permissions, and boards. This means a team can design Jira exactly the way their process works. The Agile boards are especially helpful for teams can plan sprints, track progress in real time, and manage backlogs with full visibility.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface can feel overwhelming, especially for new team members. There are so many menus, configurations, and nested options that onboarding becomes difficult. Sometimes, even experienced users struggle to locate workflow settings or custom fields. When too many custom rules or automations are added, Jira can also slow down or become hard to maintain.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of chaotic project management. Without it, teams tend to rely on random spreadsheets, long chat messages, emails, and inconsistent notes. This leads to missed deadlines, unclear priorities, and poor accountability. Jira brings complete structure. Every task has a clear owner. Every update is tracked. Nothing gets lost. Teams can plan predictable sprints, maintain accurate estimates, and track progress against deadlines. developer, QA testers, and product managers all stay aligned.

  ### 35. Customizable Kanban, Complex UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pintu D. | Customer Support Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how Jira tracks project progress accurately. I also really appreciate its customizable Kanban board, which helps visualize our workflow clearly. Plus, integrating it with GitHub and Slack has been a big help.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I find the user interface too complex, and I felt that the initial setup was somewhat complex and required technical knowledge.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira tracks project progress accurately and its customizable Kanban board helps me visualize our workflow clearly.

  ### 36. Cluttered, Slow UI Holds Back Jira’s Otherwise Strong Organization and Integrations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like Jira’s ability to organize stories into epics, and I also appreciate how easy it is to capture feedback through comments. It also integrates into pretty much anything I want (Salesforce, GDrive, Zendesk, etc.)

UI is a bit cluttered, but information rich.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The user interface feels incredibly cluttered, and the time it takes to fully load can make the experience really choppy.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s great for organizing engineering tasks, stories, and epics. I also like that it supports using spaces, so different departments can set it up in ways that fit their workflows. For example, our GTM enablement team uses it very differently from our engineering group, and it still works well for both.

  ### 37. Unmatched Flexibility for Workflows, Views, and Permissions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul S. | Senior Manager - Operations, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The kind of flexibility in terms of workflow, views, and permission schemes that can be applied to a space can never be found in any of the other CRMs in service/request management.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

From a configuration perspective, the admin panel and fields are too complex for us to edit and create.

The Atlassian help center is not particularly helpful for a layperson to understand the configuration.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using JIRA for;

Internal product requests
Internal engg. requests
Internal account management requests
Translating external product intake to engineering requests.

  ### 38. Excellent Customizable Workflows for Task Management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rashika S. | Sales coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira provides excellent control over task management, sprints, and issue tracking. It can be customized with different workflows, boards, and detailed ticketing, which is helpful in structuring the development workflow with greater visibility.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can be overwhelming with its interface, and it is important to structure the usage to ensure the boards and backlogs remain uncluttered to maintain the ease of usage.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira is helpful in replacing task management and issue tracking with a single platform. It provides greater control over the entire workflow with greater visibility.

  ### 39. Flexible Project Tracking with Powerful Integrations and Reporting

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

One of the things I like most about Jira is its flexibility in managing projects and workflows. It allows teams to customize boards, issue types, and workflows based on their specific needs, which makes it suitable for both agile and traditional project management. The ability to track tasks, bugs, and progress in real time improves team collaboration and transparency. I also find its integration capabilities with other tools and its powerful reporting features very helpful for monitoring performance and making data-driven decisions.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One downside of Jira is that it can feel overly complex, especially for new users. The interface and configuration options can be overwhelming, and setting up workflows often requires time and experience. Additionally, performance can sometimes be slow when handling large datasets or multiple plugins. The reporting features, while powerful, may not be very intuitive without customization, and dependency on add-ons can increase overall cost.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps solve key problems like lack of visibility, poor task tracking, and inefficient team collaboration. It centralizes all tasks, bugs, and requirements in one place, making it easier to track progress and ownership. This improves transparency across teams and reduces miscommunication. It also helps in prioritizing work, managing backlogs, and ensuring deadlines are met. As a result, it increases productivity, streamlines workflows, and enables better decision-making through real-time insights and reporting.

  ### 40. Excellent for Sprint Planning, Integrations, and Agile Team Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiro J. | Technical Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Sprint planning, intigrations, commits, history, team managment, scrum, agile, etc

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Its costly as charge per user so in our team around 20 developers we are paying for each

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its managing the entire dlievery, developement process, intigration with google chat, slack, bitbucket, confluence, sprint, etc. So its very easy way to track the multiple items and handling many more which double the
confidence and productivity.

  ### 41. Good Enough Standard System That Gets the Job Done

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam V. | Customer Success Deputy Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It's just the standard system you would use, don't you? It's not perfect, but everything else is worse, so they're good enough.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The UI can get cluttered on certain pages. If you don't use it often, it can be a bit overwhelming.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrates well with other systems, so I can track my customers' bug reports and feature requests in the least painful manner.

  ### 42. Unmatched Flexibility and Customization for Engineering Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubham P. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira's greatest strength is its flexibility and depth. Almost everything from workflows and statuses to issue types and automations can be customized based on a team's process. This level of configurability is extremely valuable for engineering teams with complex deliverables. Its sprint boards are powerful; teams can manage backlogs, estimate tasks, link related tickets, visualize work in progress, and track velocity trends.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira's power can also be its weakness. For new users, the interface is complex and may feel overwhelming. Navigating boards, filters, workflows, and issue properties can be confusing until someone becomes familiar with the system. Highly customized workflows often create friction; too many statuses, transitions, or automation rules can slow down everyday usage.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of chaotic, unstructured project tracking. Instead of relying on spreadsheets, emails, or informal conversations, teams get a structured and transparent system where every task is documented and tracked. It brings clarity by defining who is responsible for what, the priorities are, and what the team should focus on next. It helps maintain alignment between engineering, QA, design, and product teams.

  ### 43. Unmatched Flexibility and Configurability for Any Team Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Makss A. | The service is commonly used for birthdays, weddings, proposals, anniversaries, corporate events, and marketing campaigns., Music, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like best about Jira is its unmatched flexibility and configurability. It adapts well to different team workflows and methodologies — whether you’re using Scrum, Kanban, or a hybrid approach. The ability to create custom issue types, fields, and workflows lets teams shape the tool around their processes instead of the other way around. Real-time visibility into task progress, coupled with extensive reporting and dashboards, has significantly improved transparency and accountability across projects.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The learning curve can be steep, especially for new or non-technical users. Some features feel overly complex out of the box, and initial setup can require a dedicated admin to configure everything effectively. Additionally, performance can slow down as the number of issues and users grows, and some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the core problem of scattered work and unclear priorities. By centralizing tasks, bugs, user stories, and feature requests in one platform, we’ve eliminated fragmented communication across tools and reduced context switching. This has led to faster issue resolution, improved sprint planning accuracy, and better cross-team collaboration. The ability to link related issues and track dependencies also helps teams foresee blockers earlier in the cycle.

  ### 44. Fast and Efficient Task Tracking, Needs Better Mobile Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Srinaveen D. | Software Engineer II

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like using Jira for tracking tasks in a feature, as it brings everything together in one place like a diary to review everything related to a feature. It helps me know what action items are pending and what can be achieved. I appreciate Jira acting like a bookkeeper for tracking all tasks in one place. I find it definitely fast when fetching results from multiple sources, which is crucial as a developer because if the tool is slow, I would avoid using it. Since Jira is fast, I can document, attach files, and refer to them easily. The initial setup was also pretty much easy.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I think when I working on mobile, Jira does not handle well. It takes a lot of longer time to load and as well while working on editing/adding comments it does not do a good job there. I think having a notes on top of Jira would be a good feature.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to track tasks and keep everything related to a feature in one place. It helps me know what action items are pending. It's fast at fetching results, making it easy to document and attach files.

  ### 45. Effective Task Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeeban Jyoti D. | Lead Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira for daily effort tracking and task management. I appreciate the easy tracking of stories and tasks. I like its feature management, especially the ability to break features into tasks. We can also create stories for sprints, which is helpful. Logging our efforts daily and adding comments is another feature I value. The initial setup was easy.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira is pricier than Azure DevOps and it could offer more advantages. It would be beneficial if it had CiCD capabilities.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira for daily effort tracking and task management. It helps me easily track stories and tasks, manage features by breaking them into tasks, and create stories for sprints.

  ### 46. Jira Makes Client Ticket Tracking Clear and Efficient.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew P. | Service Delivery Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira is generally employed to monitor client service tickets. It enables the tracking of client requests and ensures that the correct teams handle the requests in the due course. Moreover, the status allows the teams to get a good overview of what is in progress, what is pending, etc., which is essential during client reviews.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The learning curve may be quite steep for new team members who are not familiar with organized ticketing systems.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, client issues were being handled through email chains, which was difficult. However, the use of Jira has made things quite clear since the issues are being handled through a ticketing system, especially during service audits.

  ### 47. Streamlined Ticketing but Needs Notification Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I really like that I don't have to do anything manually over in Excel. I can create a ticket and assign it to the relevant team. I can also see the stages of my current ticket. It's not just for any issues or bugs; I can also create requests for any product requirement from the client. This can be assigned to any product team and not just the engineering team. I really like that feature about Jira.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Not specifically anything, but still if I have to suggest any improvement, there are no push notifications from Jira. If your ticket has been pending for a while, you don't get any notifications that the ticket is still open and nobody has acted upon it. You really have to go manually check whether the ticket has been picked up by the team or not.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to create and assign tickets for the engineering team, eliminating the need for spreadsheets. It helps track the status of issues or product requests by checking ticket history and progress.

  ### 48. Unmatched Power and Flexibility for Agile Project Management

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Swet S. | Salesforce, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It’s like Excel, it has so many features but just using basic features well and automating it makes life so much easier for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I love and hate it. My manager and my teammates could see what I'm working on at the same time it feels like it's important to show off your work in a big corporate where you struggle to make contributions as a single entity.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Every story is tagged to a component, an epic and a program. Every story is liked to a development story. It provides 100% transparency to everyone involved and makes tracking work easier. I also use it to populate confluence documentation for reporting.

  ### 49. Stable, Easy to Start, and Integrates Seamlessly Across Systems

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maris B. | Head of Information Technology, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The stability and ability to integrate it with different systems. Pricing is ok. It is quite easy to stat using.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

UI and UX are not the best. Feels outdated in some ways. Settings are quite hard to understand sometimes.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps to manage projects and cooperate with colleagues. Also provides an opportunity to have all information about the project in one place. All this leads to better project management, transparent process and achieved goals.

  ### 50. Customizable Workflows and Boards That Adapt to Any Process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey W. | Senior Windows System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Customizable workflows and boards make it easy to fit Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or even a custom processes

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It has an extremely steep learning curve, and it can feel very slow once deployed—especially under heavy usage. Large datasets or certain plugins also tend to cause long load times, which makes the overall experience frustrating.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provided cross-team project management and accountability, along with flexible scheduling that kept everyone aligned and driving toward results.
