"Clean UI and Seamless Jira Integration for Strong Product Planning"
4/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

Jira Product Discovery has been really useful for managing ideas and turning them into actual work. The UI is clean and easy to navigate, although it took a little time to get familiar with all the views and fields.

One of the things I like most is the integration with Jira Software. Once an idea is approved, it becomes much easier to track it through development without switching between multiple tools. Performance has been good overall and I haven't faced any major issues while using it.

From a pricing perspective, it can feel a bit expensive for smaller teams, but for organizations already using Atlassian products, it provides good value and helps keep product planning organized.

The onboarding experience was fairly smooth and the available documentation helped us get started. Support has also been responsive whenever we needed assistance.

The AI features are still evolving, but they help with summarizing information and organizing ideas, which saves some manual effort. Overall, it has improved visibility into our product planning process and made collaboration easier across teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

One thing I dislike about Jira Product Discovery is that some features can feel a bit overwhelming when you're first getting started. There are a lot of options and configurations, so new users may need some time to understand how everything works.

The UI is good overall, but a few actions require extra clicks and some views could be more customizable. While the integration with Jira Software is useful, setting up the right workflow between teams can take some effort.

The pricing may also be a concern for smaller teams that only need basic product planning features. As for the AI capabilities, they are helpful but still feel limited in certain scenarios and could be more accurate or provide deeper insights.

Overall, the product is strong, but there is still room for improvement in ease of use, customization, and some advanced AI functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlines Idea Management, Needs Better Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I love using Jira Product Discovery because it allows me to capture, prioritize, and track product ideas all in one place, bringing clarity to roadmap discussions. The seamless integration with Jira makes it easy to transition from idea validation to development. I also appreciate how customizable it is; I can tailor scoring models and fields to suit our prioritization process rather than follow a rigid framework. The visualization options make it easier to communicate priorities and achieve stakeholder alignment. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy and straightforward since our team was already using Jira. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

The main improvement I would like to see is more advanced reporting and roadmap customization. While it covers our day-to-day discovery needs well, some stakeholder reporting requirements still require workarounds or additional tools. I would like more advanced reporting and cross-project roadmap capabilities. The current views are useful for prioritization, but additional dashboard customization, portfolio-level insights, and easier sharing of standardized templates across teams would help to scale their product discovery processes more effectively. While the Jira integration is a major strength, customization options for views and reporting can sometimes feel limited compared to dedicated product management tools. Ok. it's helpful overall, but I think it still has some limitations around customization, reporting, and workflow flexibility. For more complex product teams, it can feel a bit lightweight. "Helps Turn Product Feedback Into Clear Action"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

The aspect I find valuable is its integration with Jira. Once an idea is validated and ready for development, it can be connected directly to delivery work, creating a smooth transition from product planning to execution. This helps keep product managers, developers, and stakeholders aligned throughout the product lifecycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

I feel that some customization options are still limited compared to more mature product management platforms. For teams with very specific prioritization methods or reporting requirements, it can sometimes be challenging to tailor the tool exactly to their needs without creating workarounds. "Centralized Feedback Management with Some Permission Challenges"
4/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I use Jira Product Discovery to capture raw product ideas and back them up with customer feedback, then rank and prioritize them before sending them to the dev team. It collects feedback in one spot, which is great because otherwise it's scattered all over the place. I love that it provides one clear spot to collect, collate, and organize all feedback from customers. This feature is incredibly valuable as we can justify to stakeholders why we like some ideas over others since each feedback is backed with customer quotes. The initial setup was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

The permission controls can be a bit rigid in Jira Product Discovery. I wish there were more granular level field permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Integration, Powerful Prioritization Tool"
4/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I use Jira Product Discovery to centralize product ideas, prioritize features based on user feedback and impact, and build visual roadmaps for my team. I really like the seamless integration with Jira Software because it turns my ideas directly into development tickets without any context switching or manual copy-pasting. It saves me time by eliminating the need for copy-pasting and ensures engineers have the context behind every ticket. Plus, it auto-syncs live development progress back to the roadmap. The setup was quite easy since it's part of the Atlassian ecosystem, requiring no complex integration to connect with our existing projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

It has a bit of a learning curve and can get a little overwhelming at times. It requires my team to use Jira Software to get the full value, which is not a problem for developers, but non-developers do not always prefer Jira Software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
