"Great for Scaling Product Ideas with Custom Fields, Prioritization, and Seamless Jira Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

Its a great tool for managing product ideas at scale. I especially like being able to create custom fields track impact and build formulas for prioritzation. It also helps use present a now, next, later view in a way that actually makes sense to people, and its one of the beat ways to communicate our ideas and goals without getting stuck in tiny jira tickets. Collaboration is another strong point teams can comment, share feedbacks, and saty aligned as things envolve. The jira integration feels seamless as well, so once an ideas is approved, its straightforward to move it into development. The roadmap and timeline views are also useful for planning and keeping everyone on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

All the tools offers great features, functinality and integrations. They’re easy to learn and its straightforward to understand what each tool can do overall. This would be useful for collecting external information. That said, the input process and navigation could be simpler and more intutive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Brainstorming Platform with Seamless Jira Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

The best part I love about this platform is the capability of this platform to initiate a brainstorming topic which might later generate into good suggestion that might improve the over all quality of work by building up on the idea. The flawless integration of this platform with Jira is one part that can be commended. Other than this the platform have a user friendly interface and even more easy with anyone who is acquainted with Jira Platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

I love most part of this platform but I wish that the speed was not affected with the volume of work. I also feel that the price can be made more reasonable with more packages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jira Product Discovery Brought Data-Driven Clarity to Multi-Site Maintenance Priorities"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

Managing facilities across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites means I'm constantly juggling equipment uptime, parts inventory, and work order backlogs. Jira Product Discovery has given us the visibility we desperately needed. What stands out most is how seamlessly it lets us capture maintenance requests from our deskless workforce, prioritize them based on operational impact, and connect those priorities directly to the work in Jira. For the first time, I can show leadership exactly why we're prioritizing a critical HVAC repair at one plant over cosmetic upgrades at another with data to back it up. The flexibility is huge. We've set up custom fields to track asset criticality, estimated downtime risk, and parts availability. It's helped us move from reactive firefighting to genuinely preventive maintenance planning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

Honestly, the biggest challenge has been cultural, not technical getting some of our long-time maintenance leads to move from spreadsheets into a structured tool. Jira Product Discovery itself is intuitive, but I'd love to see even more mobile-friendly features for our technicians who are in the field or on the shop floor. "Centralizes Feedback and Roadmaps, with Room for Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I use Jira Product Discovery to collect product ideas, prioritize feature requests, and align roadmap decisions with clients and business needs. I appreciate the clear way it lets me evaluate and track product ideas while making discussions more structured and transparent. I like how it brings customer feedback, business goals, and ideas in one place, making communication easy and offering great visibility across various teams. The ability to connect customer feedback directly to product ideas is a major plus, ensuring our prioritization decisions are based on actual user needs and business impact rather than just assumptions. The setup was very straightforward and easy, and the guide was really helpful. Since switching from Excel spreadsheets and shared documents to Jira, tracking ideas and feedback has become much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

Few areas can be improved with some customization options allowed to the user and reporting options are limited, so if this is provided in more options, it would be really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong Atlassian Integration for Tracking Ideas from Feedback to Production"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

The integration with the Atlassian ecosystem is the strongest part. JPD has been valuable for us because it allows us to prioritize ideas and the follow those ideas, along with the related issues, all the way through to production. We can bring in feedback, link ideas directly to jira tickets and keep everything visible, organized and easy to track in dashboards. The automation options are helpful, too we have set up workflows where specific updates automatically trigger the right actions at the rigt time. The interface is clean overall, especially once you get usec to how its laid out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

There are a lot of features , which is good thing, but at first it can feel a confusing. If you don’t keep things simple, it can fastest become hard to mange. Some of the automation setups also aren’t very intutive, so it takes time to figure out the best way to set them up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and Customizable with Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I use Jira Product Discovery for managing the roadmap across multiple Product missions and for intaking feedback from internal stakeholders and external customers. I find its flexibility and customizability really beneficial, especially being able to create our own custom fields to structure the roadmaps however we'd like without duplicating sources of truth. I also like its integration with other Jira tools and my experience with the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

I need more control over permissioning and visibility. The Jira workflows are not consistent across Jira products, and Jira reporting (which is very inflexible already) does not extend to Jira Product Discovery. I want to select which views to share and which to restrict to contributors; currently, all contributors can see everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jira Product Discovery Brings Structure and Clarity to Product Discovery"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

I like that eveyone in the team is on board on what is planned. What I like best about Jira Product Discovery is how it brings structure and clarity to the early stages of product work. It makes it much easier to capture ideas, prioritize them based on impact, and align the team around shared goals.

I also appreciate how it connects discovery with delivery — linking ideas directly to Jira tickets helps ensure that validated concepts actually move forward, rather than getting lost. The ability to customize fields, views, and prioritization frameworks (like impact vs. effort) makes it flexible enough to fit different team workflows.

Overall, it helps teams move from scattered ideas to well-prioritized, actionable work in a more transparent and collaborative way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

What I dislike about Jira Product Discovery is that it can still feel quite disconnected from real planning and day-to-day workflow. While it’s good for collecting and organizing ideas, it doesn’t always translate smoothly into actual prioritization or execution without additional tools or manual effort.

It can also feel a bit abstract — especially when priorities are discussed outside the tool (e.g., verbally or in meetings), which makes the system less reliable as a single source of truth. In those cases, it risks becoming more of a documentation space rather than a real planning tool.

Another downside is that it requires discipline from the team to keep it updated and meaningful. Without clear ownership and consistent usage, it can quickly become outdated or cluttered with ideas that are no longer relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Turns Ideas into Clear, Prioritised Work with Strong Visibility Across Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

What I like best about Jira Product Discovery is how it helps turn ideas into clear, prioritised work. From my role, it’s really valuable to be able to capture ideas, assess them against impact and effort, and then link them directly to delivery in Jira. It improves visibility for both business and technical teams, reduces ambiguity, and supports better decision-making by ensuring the right work is prioritised before it reaches delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

One thing I dislike is that Jira Product Discovery can feel a bit disconnected from day-to-day delivery if it isn’t actively maintained. If ideas aren’t regularly refined or linked through to Jira issues, they can quickly become stale. There’s also a bit of a learning curve for stakeholders who aren’t familiar with Jira, which can slow adoption if governance and ownership aren’t clearly defined. "Outstanding JIRA Integration For your real-time ideas"
5/5
What do you like best about Jira Product Discovery?

It’s a good tool that works well with JIRA and helps its users corroborate ideas and turn them into something genuinely helpful for both users and the production team. It also gives users an outlet to share insightful ideas directly, not only with the product team, but with other users and potential customers as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jira Product Discovery?

With the JPD, I still haven’t seen anything negative about it, mainly because I’ve been more focused on what it brings to the table since it came out. I’ll definitely keep it in mind and add it to one of my future ideas if I ever get the chance to pick one up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
