"Swiss knife for people who know how to use it."
5/5
What do you like best about JHipster?

The ease of generating different components and services of the application, knowing that the project structure is the brainchild of the best-opinionated structures followed around. The option allows generating and building either full or a specific end of the application. Also, the community support it comes with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JHipster?

The option to skip test files being generated is missing. I understand unit test codes are an essential part of any development application, but for some smaller applications or even for production applications, it would be great to have an option to skip generating test files. I believe most developers use Jhipster to generate a skeleton of the application, and then apply a lot of updates and customizations. With all those changes going in, fixing test code becomes difficult to manage and fix. This has been my experience, not sure how it will be taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good tool to automate the building of web applications."
4/5
What do you like best about JHipster?

This is a good tool to automate the building of web applications using Angular/React and Spring provided that you got a full training. It automates most of the code which helps in time and cost saving. Also, as this automates the generation of code using some command lines instructions, the generated code is error free which saves lots of testing time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JHipster?

There is very less documentation available online also the documentation is not easy to use. Apart from that a person using JHipster should have sound knowledge of Angular/React and Spring to make any modifications as everything cannot be automated using JHipster. "Awesome application generator for Spring Boot and UI technolohgies(Angular and React)"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JHipster?

Jhiptser is the great application generator I have been used. With Jhipster you will get a generated code with best practices followed in development. Marketplace contains several generators and libraries that you use with 2 to3 simpler commands. I loved the way it generates microservices using the spring cloud framework. Its generator with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JHipster?

I have a concern when working with swagger ui in spring boot. Swagger ui I'd configured in such a way that it is limited to initial methods at the time of creation

Up to my knowledge only spring boot is provided for backend which is a limitation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Application generator with microservices"
5/5
What do you like best about JHipster?

In my experience with JHipster it is an excellent micro-services generator that allows creating an entire infrastructure in seconds for both monolithic or non-monolithic applications, which helps the developer to shorten the code generation time to solve any requirement of the client. It also supports all cloud management or virtualization standards, allowing for more dynamic and scalable integrations. I recommend it to all developers who are starting in the micro-service world, believe me it is excellent to understand the whole universe and incorporate new technologies. "Jhipster has lots of features which we love about"
4.5/5
What do you like best about JHipster?

In Jhipster microservices, oauth2 is already implemented. We dont need to implement our own. It saves our times to create full fledge implementation of service our own. We dont need to create pojo. We need to create diagram for database table and they make pojo of its own for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about JHipster?

There is no dislike about jhipster. We have implemented in our company project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
