I have all kinds of tools that I can send where people can point and click, or write up what they want done, but this tool allows me to not only see, but also HEAR where their points are. Sometimes it can be hard to "hear" where a person is passionate about something (either good or bad). Konvey allows my clients to show and speak what they need me to see and hear. There's no learning phase. The software is so easy you can start getting value from it in under 5 minutes. The fact that their starting plan already contains 3 user spots is a game changer, different from Loom - where you must pay per user. If you use a video recording tool, after all, is because you have a team to collaborate with, isn't it? Konvey allows you to pick a plan with a proper amount of seats, which is great. Uploading the video after recording is way slower than Loom. You can't record and work on the video immediately. You have to wait a couple of minutes till it's completely ready. I like the ease of use, as well as the fact that you can save videos to send to multiple clients. For example, I have several common questions that people ask, and sending a video is a great way to introduce myself and answer their question in what feels like a very personal way. I am also planning to use it for tech support, to be able to easily show people how to fix things. Playing around a bit and it does what it says. Great for recording your screen and/or camera, or ask somebody to do that as well. Also to track all the recordings that have been received. The videos are stored in the cloud, so it is helpful in case you do not have enough local space. Moreover, you are able to organize your recordings/requests into folders and labels in the dashboard, or to set up custom domains to personalize your requests from different projects. It is pretty intuitive how to use it. But in case you are not sure how to start, there is a tutorial that goes straigh forward to the point, and you spend little time to learn everything you need to start using all its features. You will implement and integrate it very easily into your daily tasks. Customer Support responds to my queries in just few hours so far, trying to bring solutions to my problems. Seems there are still a few bugs in Konvey at this time. One problem is that it sometimes happens that the other person is not able to go to the next step after filming the video, stopping them from completing the process. As a client centric firm, team and client communications is key. I originally got Konvey as a screen recording tool, but it is so much more than that. It's not feature rich, but it doesnt have essential features that are useful for every business. This is also keeps the dashbaord simple and uncluttered, big plus for onbaording our teams and keeping it simple. Screen reocrding yes, so great for internal and client communications, but also for marketing, with CTA's and emal capture.
