John is not a BS sales trainer- there are way too many of those today. He’s a hustler at heart and worked hard to learn how to be the best at this profession. He also doesn’t pretend that all ideas are his; he has taken countless sales trainings himself and took from them the best pieces and has included them in his own training. This sales training is extremely tactical and relevant. John walks through a detailed agenda in the beginning to set the stage for what will be accomplished by the end of the day it makes it very clear that this is OUR training and he expects this to be interactive so we can learn as much as possible. It’s also important to note that John stayed on task and on time, literally it started and ended exactly on time! (Talk about a true professional!) For other sales trainings that I have been to, I have wanted to leave before it ended (in most cases I have, along with other attendees) but at the end of John’s, he had a packed house. In fact, 25 people snuck into the training- THAT’S how good the training is.
Being walked through the entire sales process, starting with defining my ideal customer profile all the way down to getting a deal across the finish line, included many tactics and strategies that I use today but that was all great reinforcement. Even in those examples, he had different approaches, which was great. I also learned a ton of new approaches. John thinks about sales from so many different perspectives that the words, touches, and timing provide a fresh and new view into things that I’ve been doing the same way for a long time. John sure does have a charming way of being able to answer any question quickly and confidently. I know have lots of new processes and messaging to test, templates and worksheets to support me, and a renewed energy to make it happen :)
I will absolutely improve the quantity of deals in my pipeline, the quality of the buyer journey, shorten my sales cycle and close better and more having had this training.
