Without Java runtime and tomcat its so difficult or time taking process to deploy java applications. But Amazon linux makes easier fir Java Applications. I always use Amazon Linux in AWS to deploy Java web applications. AWS provide lots of support for the implementation of EC2 instance with Amazon linux. **What do you dislike about Java runtime with Tomcat8 (Amazon Linux)?** I sometime face Database issues. Because i use NoSQL database. I also appreciate that Tomcat8 fully supports Java Servlets and Java Server pages (JSP), which are essential for developing dynamic web applications in Java. **What do you dislike about Java runtime with Tomcat8 (Amazon Linux)?** There are two downsides that I believe are very important. The first being that Tomcat8 does not support the latest Java features and API's available in more recent Java Runtime versions.
