Janek’s programs can be used as-is, or they can be highly customized. Because our organization is complex, an off-the-shelf program wasn’t going to work for us. That said, the customization process was quick, and having that “corporate language” built into the programs was one of the main reasons our sales teams bought into it so quickly. We haven’t experienced any downsides to using Janek Performance Group. I also appreciate that they’re always scanning the radar to stay on top of the latest trends in sales training, and that they develop new training programs whenever they identify gaps in their training library. Be sure to have a plan in place to reinforce the skills and concepts. Their new Jenius tool helps bridge the gap between what’s learned during formal training and how that translates to day-to-day work. Before partnering with Janek Performance Group, our sales team wasn’t speaking the same language and didn’t have a consistent process to follow. Since implementing Critical Selling Skills, our sales teams are now using the same terminology and working from a similar process, while still keeping it flexible enough for each person to bring their own “sales flare” to it.
