We really like the fact that JAMS Enterprise Job Scheduler has the capability of dynamically adjusting our various server loads when we run simulations at peak times. JAMS has its head in the clouds when it comes to the sheer number of different types of execute it can do natively and this saves us when it comes to our mixed environment. We can easily deal with python scripts in Linux servers, SQL jobs, and even some of the legacy VB processes, all of them occurring on top of a single console. Albeit functional, the default reporting interface could be improved to feature more modern visualization options that would give fast insights on operations. The problem is that onboarding new administrators also needs a much steeper learning curve than expected, with the commands more customizable settings and powerful nuances. I appreciate a lot the powerful cross-platform scheduling. We do run jobs both on Window and Linux servers and JAMS runs it without any trouble. The triggers by events are superb as well. The fact that JAMS has a wide multi platform support is quite impressive. We are able to easily script and also execute jobs in such platforms as Windows Linux and even IBM i systems all through one interface. Such centralized control reduces the complexity of our IT system tremendously.
