The dashboards are a little rigid in terms of design. Though this may be improved in the future, we have trouble building dashboards with widgets that are easy to move around and structure in any way that we choose. I have been using JAMIS Prime now for 4.5 years. Being part of the implementation process made the system ease to use and it was a very important part of my learning experience but that was not everything.

The fact that the software is a very comprehensive solution with so many features and also flexible gave me the opportunity to explore and get training in so many areas such as Contracts and Purchasing, areas that I am normally not involved in my daily routine. I also use a lot the help section inside the software. Anytime I have a question, I first search inside the help and so many articles and topics show up. Normally, that step is sufficient for me to troubleshoot and solve my problem.

The reporting writer is the area that I like the least in JAMIS Prime.

There are some inconsistencies in screen displays (example - number of characters allowed). Customized reports tend to take a long time to load. Some screens do not work properly. An example would be Milestone Detail, attachments are oftentimes linked to the incorrect milestone (viewing contract 10094, but the attachment is actually for contract 10083). I love that JAMIS ERP allows us to take a very complicated growing company structure and personalize the system to what works best for us. With such a complex system, multiple ways to implement and many different scenerios, the training within JAMIS is very generic and doesn't always answer the questions needed.
