"Invisible Efficiency, No Disruptions"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I really appreciate that Jamf is super easy to use for me as an end user. It doesn't get in my way at all and it works without bothering me in any capacity. I've never faced any issues with CPU or memory usage, which is fantastic. Jamf operates transparently, so I don't even notice it, and it doesn't interfere with my experience. It simply works, and that's exactly what I need. When our Macs are provisioned by the IT team, everything is already set up in working order, so I've never had to worry about running commands or re-syncing. "Granular Controls and Flexible Policy Triggers That Stand Out"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

The very granular controls over everything ranging from policies to device naming and everything in between.

The different triggers for policies are one of the more helpful things in comparison to the competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

The only thing I dislike ist that there are features that are only available in hosted Jamf environments, not on premise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI and Self-Service Tools That Speed Up Fixes"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

The tools that can be created in self service for our users so fixes are fast and effective. The user interface didn't need any training as I came into my new role, I was able to hit the ground running and find anything and everything I needed to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

I'd appreciate network independence for unlocking ipads by having stored admin login codes when users forget their passwords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miles-Better Policy Deployment Speed and Effectiveness"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

The speed and effectiveness of pushing out policies is miles better than any other MDM I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

The patching via third party tools I.e installomator is very good but would be good to have something similar native to Jamf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple UI, Smooth Microsoft Integration, and Easy Deployment with Jamf"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

The UI is very simple. It integrates really well with Microsoft (we use CA policies). Pricing is a little high compared to other MDMs but their support and overall familiarity among other Mac admins makes it easy to deploy / get help on if you're stuck. Jamf Connect is a great tool if you need password sync of local account with user's work account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

Bringing new features used to be an issue but with Blueprints this has become better as it brings new policies Apple brings quicker. Overall pricing could be better but thankfully we've been able to convince leadership to use Jamf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust, Highly Customizable, and Built for Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I really appreciate how robust and customizable it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

We covered it during the event today, but the biggest pain point is lack of information, for example when a policy fails to run, or other backend things either happen or don’t happen without explanation. I’d say over communication is always better than not enough information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jamf Makes Mac Administration Easy with an Intuitive, Seamless macOS Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Jamf is really handy and has made my life as a Mac admin much easier. The UI is intuitive and, for the most part, it just works. I also like the integrations with macOS, which make everything feel more seamless and polished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

Sites can be a bit of a pain at times. It’s not easy to switch between things, and there isn’t a clear overarching overview. I also can’t link certain groups at the top level to sites further down, which feels like it could be a really handy feature to have.

Also, with package uploads, if something doesn’t work, it would be great to get some feedback instead of just seeing “package pending” forever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apple-Focused, Zero-Day Support, and Easy to Use"
4/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

Specialised in Apple, with zero-day support, and easy to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

The cost structure is a concern, support response times are often long, and SSO feels mandatory if you want access to the full set of features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick transition and easy management with Jamf"
4/5
What do you like best about Jamf?

I like how easy it is to integrate Jamf on a Mac and how quickly the rollout of a new device goes. It is significantly easier to deliver software than to download each individual software from the Apple Store and install it separately. This way, all Macs with us have the same software status, both in terms of apps and the operating system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf?

Everything is fine so far Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
