What do you like best about Jamf Now?

I love how easy it is connect to customer support for Jamf Now! They're chat enables me to connect and get my questions answered right away. It is so convenient, especially since I was completely new to device management. The customer support assistants are extremely helpful and knowledgeable of their product. What do you dislike about Jamf Now?

One think I don't like about this product is that I am unable to re-name my devices. For example, because I did not know this when connecting devices, I named all of them after the people who would be using them at the time. When one person turned their device in, I went to change their device name on Jamf to a generic name, and I am unable to do so. So even though on Jamef, the device's name shows up as "Bob", i just need to remember that Bob no longer physically has that device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Jamf Now:

I would recommend using Jamf Now for mobile device management on just their customer service alone. One thing that is a little annoying however are the layout of their website; it's not as intuitive as I think it could be. With that being said however, their customer support chat is so helpful, when I do need help navigating the website, I can always get my questions answered right away. What problems is Jamf Now solving and how is that benefiting you?

Jamf Now allows me to send automatic updates and control what is downloaded and how devices are used, all while sitting at my computer. It's very helpful, because instead of people rushing be at board meetings to ask "how do I update this app?", I can make sure everything is completed and updated with out them having to do anything. What do you like best about Jamf Now?

The user interface is clean and sensible, with all the key information within a click or two of where you need it. Easy enrollment for individual devices as well as auto-enrol for new devices has allowed us to quickly deploy to the estate, including the mobile platforms which was an added bonus. What do you dislike about Jamf Now?

Several of the features get exponentially more expensive if you need them. It is not clear how you can cost-effectively go from JAMFNow to the wider range of products without considerable expense. Works very well as a small company management tool but would question the scalability vs. cost of something like InTune Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Jamf Now solving and how is that benefiting you?

We now have a single intuitive portal to view and manage our Apple estate, including desktops (even the newer M1 chipsets), iPads, and iPhones. This has helped us achieve our CyberEssential certification through the easy application of security policies which was a challenge previously; using JAMF Connect, we even keep passwords in sync with our Azure. Given our business, this really helps streamline our processes which is beneficial for demonstrations and illustrates how we practice what we preach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Jamf Now?

What do you like best about Jamf Now?

I love the balance between ease of use and power that Jamf Now offers for my small business. Easy to deploy. Easy to monitor. Easy to change. Yet, I'm confident of its security-forward position. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Jamf Now?

Had I reviewed a jamf Now a month ago, I would have commented on the need for other tools for security. Now with Jamf Protect built in, I have little to suggest for future improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Jamf Now:

Jamf is one of the few companies that speaks Apple fluently. And they are the one that has the most experience in the ecosystem. Yes, evaluate others, but do so with an eye towards their rate of feature change and quality of support. Every company says they are fast. Find out when their GUI supported the latest Apple OS betas. Find out how long it takes to talk to a support person with an Apple background. Heck, contact support and see how willing they are to support your apple questions even when it has little or nothing to do with their software. I'm not saying Jamf is perfect at all this, but they come closer than others I've evaluated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great and easy deployment and very useful especially for SMBs that want to have their basic device and access management in order. Also scalable and upgradable as businesses and requirements grow. Love the simple dashboard and overall view and the ability to have basic blueprints for our devices and deploy apps and settings over-the-air directly when onboarding.
