## About Jahia DXP
Jahia is a digital platform combining a hybrid CMS and DXP, built for organizations that manage complex content environments and require strong control over their data, architecture, and digital operations. A hybrid CMS for editorial flexibility and distribution agility: Jahia CMS supports both traditional and headless approaches. Content teams work through rich editorial interfaces, while developers distribute content via APIs to any front-end experience, including websites, mobile applications, portals, and third-party systems. This architecture is particularly suited to multi-site, multi-brand, and portal deployments where content governance and distribution speed are equally critical. A DXP with native CDP capabilities: On the experience side, Jahia collects, unifies, and activates customer data through built-in CDP capabilities, enabling real-time personalization without requiring a separate CDP. Organizations retain ownership of their customer data within a controlled environment, without adding unnecessary data silos. AI-assisted productivity: Built-in AI features, including automatic translation, writing assistance, and automated content classification, reduce manual effort and accelerate time to market for both editorial and technical teams, helping business users move faster while developers stay focused on high-value work. Open architecture, built for complex ecosystems: Jahia is built on a modular, API-first architecture that integrates with existing systems such as CRM, analytics, DAM, and e-commerce platforms. It deploys in the cloud or on-premises, giving organizations control over their infrastructure, security posture, and compliance requirements without locking teams into a rigid technology stack. Designed for collaboration: Jahia bridges the gap between business and technical teams. Granular roles, permissions, and workflows give each team the autonomy they need without creating governance gaps. Content editors, marketers, and developers work in the same environment, with clear boundaries and shared visibility. Trusted by NASA, Marriott Vacations Worldwide, Ben & Jerry’s, and the European Parliament, Jahia is designed for teams that treat data control, architectural flexibility, and digital experience performance not as options, but as requirements.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anhao M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

I am a big fan of the flexibility and scalability of Jahia DXP. The modular architecture of Jahia DXP makes it easy to customize, extend, and adapt the platform to evolving business needs while maintaining solid performance and security. Jahia DXP helps reduce silos between teams by facilitating collaboration, content validation, and rights management, while improving editorial governance. We particularly appreciate the flexibility of Jahia DXP, which allows us to easily evolve our sites and digital journeys without major overhauls. The ergonomics of the back-office and the preview tools make daily work easier.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP presents a certain complexity, especially for new users. For new users, the complexity of Jahia DXP mainly comes from the platform's rich functionality and the diversity of concepts to master. The installation is well documented, but it requires a certain level of technical expertise.

 ### 3. Powerful Hybrid Solution with GraphQL API

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy .

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

I greatly appreciate the Headless Hybrid approach of Jahia DXP via the GraphQL API. This allows for decoupling the front end while maintaining a true editing and preview interface for the team, which is a big advantage. The ability to use Jahia in headless mode while keeping the interface for contributors is something I really like. Jahia also solves the complexity of serving content across multiple channels thanks to its hybrid approach and GraphQL APIs, allowing the platform to be used as a Headless CMS to power our front end applications while maintaining a powerful visual editing interface for our marketing teams.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

The learning curve can be quite steep for new developers. Although the technology stack is standard, understanding Jahia's internal architecture and the module lifecycle takes time. The technical documentation is extensive but sometimes scattered or difficult to navigate to find specific examples on advanced cases. The technical documentation would benefit from being less theoretical and more recipe-oriented. Sometimes, complete code examples for advanced use cases are missing. More video tutorials or step-by-step guides for front-end developers would help lower the entry barrier.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP solves the complexity of delivering content across multiple channels, thanks to its hybrid approach and GraphQL APIs, allowing the platform to be used as a Headless CMS while maintaining a visual editing interface for marketing teams, thus avoiding the need to manage multiple content management systems.

One aspect I find challenging about Jahia DXP is its complexity and heaviness, which can be especially noticeable for smaller projects or teams with limited resources. There are several drawbacks I have encountered. The learning curve is quite steep, making it difficult for new developers and content editors to get up to speed. Optimizing performance often demands considerable effort and specialized knowledge. Additionally, managing and maintaining the platform can take up a significant amount of time. **What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

While Jahia DXP is a powerful and flexible platform, there are a few aspects that have been challenging for our team:
	1.	Steep learning curve — Some of the more advanced features and configuration options require technical expertise, which can be difficult for non-technical users to pick up quickly.
	2.	Complex setup and customization — Initial implementation and custom development can take longer than expected, especially for teams without prior experience in Jahia or similar DXP systems.
	3.	Documentation gaps — Although the documentation is helpful in many areas, there are times when detailed guides or examples are missing, requiring extra support from the vendor or community.
	4.	Performance tuning — Out of the box, certain performance optimizations need to be configured manually to ensure fast load times, particularly for large or content-heavy sites.
	5.	Cost considerations — For smaller organizations or projects with limited budgets, the total cost of ownership — including licensing, implementation, and maintenance — can be a barrier.

Overall, these challenges haven’t outweighed the benefits of Jahia DXP, but they are areas where improvements could make the platform even stronger and more user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

More than a negative point, I would say that there are some aspects of Jahia DXP that can pose an adaptation challenge for certain teams. For example, its functional richness involves a slightly more in-depth familiarization phase to fully exploit all the possibilities of the platform. Similarly, as Jahia is very flexible and integration-oriented, it is sometimes necessary to properly structure your digital architecture in advance to take full advantage of its potential. Another problem that Jahia DXP effectively addresses is interoperability: thanks to its open architecture and connectors, it becomes much easier to make the website communicate with other tools like a CRM or a marketing automation solution. For me, the benefits are numerous: time savings, better content consistency, optimized user experience, and above all, a greater ability to evolve the digital ecosystem without starting from scratch. This offers true agility, both for business teams and technical teams.

The platform offers great autonomy from the technical team for daily tasks. It removes the bottleneck between IT and Marketing, and remains very robust technically for developers. The initial setup was relatively simple and smooth, especially with the Jahia Cloud offering.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

The learning curve is steep at the beginning for new administrators. It is important to schedule training time in advance.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP removes the bottleneck between IT and marketing and allows for great autonomy from technical teams. I appreciate the editing interface which reassures by allowing you to see the result before publication.

 ### 41. A flexible and intuitive DXP platform that enhances digital agility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robin F. | Responsable des ventes, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

I particularly appreciate the intuitive ergonomics of the platform as well as the speed with which updates can be made without constantly relying on development teams. Jahia DXP stands out for its flexibility, its ability to integrate effectively with other tools, and the high level of customization it offers. Its modular architecture also allows the solution to be easily scaled according to the growing needs of the company.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Some features have a relatively steep learning curve, especially when setting up advanced customizations or complex integrations for the first time. Although the documentation is generally helpful, it would benefit from being more detailed in certain areas, which can sometimes slow down the onboarding of new users.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I didn't have any problems.

 ### 42. A powerful and flexible DXP for complex web projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian L. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP stands out for its flexibility and its ability to combine a robust CMS with a true Digital Experience Platform. I particularly appreciate its modular architecture, easy integration with third-party tools, and the clear separation between content and presentation, which makes collaboration between technical and business teams much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP has a relatively steep learning curve, especially for new users or non-technical teams. Some advanced configurations require specific expertise, and performance can heavily depend on proper optimization and the underlying system architecture.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP helps centralize multichannel content management, handle complex and multilingual websites, and improve collaboration across teams. This reduces silos, speeds up time to market, and enables the delivery of consistent and personalized digital experiences to end users.

 ### 43. Jahia is a solid, flexible, and comprehensive CMS platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve A. | Senior Digital Media Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia was one of several "top of class" CMS products we reviewed when migrating from our old platform. The platform itself was a bright point with robust user experience tools. Even though we were primarily a Microsoft development team, the user benefits, ease of implementation, ease of use for content creators, and flexibility of the product were difficult to deny, justifying the jump to a Java-based tool. As a developer, the CMS uses a "everything is content" philosophy, which is definitely a deviation from our previous CMS tools, but the learning curve wasn't as steep as we initially anticipated with their support and online documentation. Our content personnel were super-quick to adopt the new Jahia platform, and with the solid built-in security modules, everyone was up and running with proper access levels quickly. The content approval workflows truly helped our content editors screen all changes before they are visible to the public, and the rollback features have been a lifesaver more than a few times.

The implementation itself was made easier by the constant support of our Jahia sales rep, the Jahia training staff, and the timely responses to requests made of their support team. Working with the Jahia personnel has been a true benefit to the implementation, the ongoing site updates, and the numerous future enhancements we have planned.

I would definitely recommend Jahia to anyone looking for a solid, flexible, and comprehensive CMS platform.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Like pretty much every product on the planet, Jahia's online documentation has holes, but its support staff are quick to respond to questions and issues with a true customer service attitude. The pricing isn't as low or free as some other CMS products, but you get what you pay for. The Jahia CMS platform is full of modules that make the lives of your developers, content creators, support staff, and users easier.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an expansive, flexible, highly secure, cloud-hosted, CMS platform to host multiple corporate websites. Jahia has exceeded expectations for all of these needs. Our web communications staff use Jahia daily and were able to adopt the new platform quickly with minimal issues.

 ### 44. A powerful and flexible platform for content management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nolan V. | responsable commercial, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

I particularly appreciate the ease of use and clarity of the interface, which save time in content management. The features are well-designed, and the integration with other tools is seamless. Customer support is responsive and efficient, which enhances the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Although overall efficient, the tool could benefit from an improvement in loading speed for large projects. Some advanced features require additional learning time, and the documentation could be more detailed to facilitate onboarding for new users.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP allows us to centralize web content management, which reduces the complexity associated with using multiple platforms. The solution facilitates collaboration between teams, ensures brand consistency, and speeds up the publication of content. Thanks to its integration features, it also allows us to easily interconnect our existing tools, thus optimizing workflows and productivity.

 ### 45. My "control tower" for the upstream supply chain

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NORI B. | ACHETEUR, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

With Jahia, every player in our upstream supply chain, whether they are suppliers, carriers, or our partners, has a personalized space that centralizes all essential information such as schedules/loading slips/QSSE rules... This real-time and collaborative vision allows us to reduce scattered exchanges and streamline daily coordination. A joy!

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

The initial integration with our internal tools (I am particularly thinking of TMS and ERP) required precise data mapping work. More specific documentation tailored to the needs of the process industry would help reduce this setup time, but it would be a must-have :)

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instant visibility on material availability and potential delays
More agile planning to quickly react to unforeseen events
Rapid adoption by all profiles thanks to an intuitive interface
Consistent performance, even during activity peaks or frequent updates

 ### 46. Intuitive module management and great flexibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon T. | DG, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP allows management directly from the site of the modules you want to create, without complicated manipulation once the site is in hand. The different options allow for a fairly wide variety of uses, which is pleasant. Whether for a developer or a marketing team, Jahia DXP meets the needs.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

Getting started is a bit complicated. The different interfaces can quickly confuse the user, a simpler onboarding scheme could be good.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is important to be able to gather all the necessary elements for creating a website on a single platform, namely a site. Jahia DXP meets this need well, and even offers to go further by implementing more advanced modules as a feature.

 ### 47. Why Jahia DXP Became Our Go-To Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo K. | Senior dev, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

What We Love Most About Jahia DXP

When we first evaluated Jahia DXP, we needed an enterprise solution that wouldn't sacrifice usability for power. The platform surprised us by delivering both. What impressed us most was how it simplified complex digital operations - we went from skeptical to advocates within weeks of implementation.

The true standout is the balance between sophistication and approachability. Unlike other enterprise platforms that bury functionality under layers of menus, Jahia presents tools logically. Our team transitioned smoothly regardless of technical skill level, and we eliminated nearly all our "how do I..." support tickets.

We've been equally impressed with the support team's expertise. Each interaction has been solution-oriented, with specialists who understand both the platform and our business needs.

While priced as a premium solution, the ROI has been clear. We've reduced our tech stack complexity while gaining capabilities we previously lacked. For organizations tired of choosing between power and usability, Jahia offers the best of both worlds.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

For all its strengths, we've encountered some friction points. The content authoring experience, while functional, lacks the polish of newer competitors. Tasks like media organization and multi-channel previews often require more steps than necessary.

We've also noticed performance variability when handling complex page structures or large asset libraries. The permissions system, while granular, can be unintuitive for common administrative tasks.

These aren't dealbreakers - more like reminders that even excellent platforms have room to grow. The core functionality remains strong, and we're optimistic future updates will address these UX considerations.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia solved three critical challenges for our organization: First, it eliminated our content silos by providing a unified platform for all our digital properties. Where we once managed multiple disconnected systems, we now have centralized control with localized flexibility.

Second, it empowered our business users while maintaining IT governance. Marketing teams gained self-service capabilities without compromising security or compliance requirements.

Finally, it future-proofed our architecture. The modular design and API-first approach allowed us to integrate legacy systems while preparing for new technologies. We've reduced development cycles for new features by 40% while improving system stability.

The results speak for themselves: faster time-to-market, higher quality digital experiences, and teams that can focus on strategy rather than technical hurdles. For organizations looking to modernize their digital foundation, Jahia delivers measurable transformation.

 ### 48. Powerful and flexible platform, but requires some time to adapt

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Philippe L. | Enseignant chercheur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP is a practical platform, it allows you to easily manage content, create flexible sites, and personalize the user experience, even on complex projects, while remaining simple enough for business teams.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

The learning curve is sometimes long, the platform has many features, which can make it a bit complex and difficult to master at first, especially for novices.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP primarily addresses content dispersion, the complexity of managing multiple sites, and the lack of personalization; for me, it's beneficial because I can manage all content in one place, save time daily, and offer a more coherent and personalized experience to users.

 ### 49. Very high-quality product, I recommend it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul D. | Stage intensif en sports de combat, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

Jahia DXP offers a very appreciable modular approach: one can build personalized customer journeys while maintaining a clear management interface. The CMS is powerful, open-source, with good integration capability (notably via GraphQL). Both marketing teams and developers can find it beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

The initial handling is a bit complex for non-technical teams. Some advanced features require support or an external provider. The documentation also deserves to be more accessible and interactive.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP allowed us to centralize the management of multilingual web content across multiple sites from a single platform. This has significantly reduced silos between marketing, IT, and editorial teams. Thanks to its modularity and open architecture (including easy integration via GraphQL and REST API), we were able to connect our CRM and marketing automation solution, which enabled better personalization of user journeys.

 ### 50. A very good handling and a formidable efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edouard A. | Chargé.e de communication digitale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Jahia DXP?**

What I appreciate most about Jahia DXP is its great flexibility and its ability to adapt to very diverse needs, while ensuring a smooth user experience. The platform allows for centralized and very intuitive content management, even for non-technical users. Its open architecture facilitates integration with other IT system tools and its support for modern web standards is a real asset for developers.

**What do you dislike about Jahia DXP?**

It might be useful to improve the technical documentation for certain advanced modules, as it can sometimes lack clarity or concrete examples. But overall very satisfactory.

**What problems is Jahia DXP solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jahia DXP allows us to simplify content management across multiple sites and in multiple languages, while ensuring brand consistency. It facilitates integration with our existing systems (CRM, DAM, etc.) and enables business teams to publish quickly without relying on IT. This improves our operational efficiency, time-to-market, and marketing agility.
