"Intuitive UX and Well-Organized Information at Your Fingertips"
5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

The sheer amount of information available, as well as how it is neatly organized into categories. User experience is very good - intuitive and easy to learn/use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

The orange color palette - this is hard on my eyes. The sheer number of duplicate philanthropic gifts, especially of cumulative gifts that are repeated year after year. Missing transformational gifts - for example, Mark and Robyn Jones' $101M donation to Montana State University is not in the database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Condensed 360 Search with Helpful Filters and Source Links"
4.5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

In the 360 search, I love how everything is condensed into one, easy to read page. There are links to sources so you can easily verify. Being able to filter on objects like "name" are so helpful when dealing with common names. I find the real estate tab useful as well. Helps me to confirm spouse name and additional properties I wouldn't otherwise know about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

Honestly, nothing. I'm not privy to our pricing structure so I can't comment on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid UI with some room for improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

The user interface, the fact that you can export results, and transparency on how scores are calculated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

"Smart Search" isn't very smart - useful results seem limited to people who own property in their name. Also (re smart search), it is very annoying that you cannot filter by country and state alone; you are required to input a full address. However, on the second screen of smart search, you are then able to filter results by state. Why not enable that option on the first page of smart search? Also, consumer information can be wildly inaccurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Wealth Screening Tool"
5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I like how iWave is user-friendly and compacts information into one place. I enjoy it overall and I believe it is a great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

I think the donor's profile can be improved as it doesn't really give detailed information on personal businesses or accolades. Public information like website links, awards, or associated articles is not readily available on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Donor Screening, Needs Better Security"
2.5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I like how iWave makes the ratings easy to understand and the process for uploading lists for batch screenings super simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

I don't like how security is handled in iWave. The organization should have the ability to determine who has access to profiles, not just default to profiles being private unless shared by the user who created them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great 360Search Insights, but Export Limits and Incomplete Donation History Hold It Back"
3.5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I like the 360Search feature because it allows me to get a full picture of someone's inclination to donate. I also appreciate the real estate information because I can see other properties in different states. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

I do not like the lack of integration to export High Net Worth individuals, the limitations on exports, and the lack of donation information past a certain date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Data Insights with Room for Customization"
4/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I use iWave for prospect research and data screening, and I really appreciate the depth of its data and sourcing, which feels more robust than what I’ve seen on other platforms. It offers valuable insight into donors’ and prospects’ wealth, capacity, and giving history. I also find the profile creation tools, the one-off features, and the 360 search especially useful in my day-to-day work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

I wish there was additional customization options for profile exports to allow for more condensed / ready to share pdfs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Data Synthesis for Fundraisers"
4/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I value the comprehensive data iWave provides, which synthesizes different pieces of information on donors and prospects. I actively use it as a chief development officer, and it's great for identifying new prospects and assessing the capacity of existing donors. I appreciate the ability to customize the contract for good value for money. It's comprehensive for various industries, and our team uses it across the enterprise with success. I find iWave to be intuitive with a comprehensive set of resources for training, and the client success manager is really accessible for onboarding and individual training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

As a Canadian user researching Canadian donors and entities, we have less access to information compared to some other clients. This is a common issue across all tools in the sector. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"iWave: One of the Best Prospect Research Tools for Fundraising"
5/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I like that they provide philanthropic information on key philanthropists, along with the wealth screening/dashboard and the reports you can use to guide fundraising opportunities. I also value the relationship I have with my account rep and her willingness to meet with me and provide guidance whenever it’s needed. In my opinion, iWave is one of the best prospect research tools a fundraising organization can be using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

Nothing that I can think about at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"360search Makes Multi-Source Data Searches Easy"
3/5
What do you like best about iWave?

I appreciate the ability to search many sources of data at once, especially through the 360search. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iWave?

The inability to better refine the global search. For example, when using the 360search, the results are often cluttered with more inexact matches of people with very different names, which makes it harder to scan for the name I actually searched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
