"Centralized, Automated Endpoint Management with Strong Visibility and Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

What I like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management is its ability to manage and secure a wide range of devices from a single, centralized platform. It provides comprehensive visibility into endpoints, making it easier for IT and security teams to monitor device health, enforce compliance, and deploy software or updates efficiently. The automation capabilities are particularly valuable, as they reduce repetitive manual tasks and help resolve common issues before users are impacted. I also appreciate its support for multiple operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux, allowing organizations to manage diverse environments without relying on multiple tools. Integration with security features such as patch management, vulnerability remediation, and policy enforcement strengthens an organization’s overall security posture. Additionally, the user-friendly interface and detailed reporting make it simple to track assets, measure compliance, and make informed decisions. Overall, Ivanti Neurons for UEM improves operational efficiency, enhances endpoint security, and delivers a better experience for both administrators and end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

While Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management is a powerful solution, there are a few areas that could be improved. The initial setup and configuration can be complex, especially for organizations with large or hybrid environments, often requiring experienced administrators. Some advanced features have a steep learning curve, making onboarding challenging for new users. The user interface, although functional, can occasionally feel less intuitive than some competing UEM platforms, requiring extra navigation to complete routine tasks. Reporting and dashboard customization could also be more flexible, allowing easier creation of tailored reports for different stakeholders. In addition, certain software deployments or policy changes may take longer than expected to synchronize across all managed devices, depending on network conditions. Integration with some third-party solutions may require additional configuration or customization. Overall, these limitations do not outweigh the platform’s strengths, but addressing them would further improve usability, deployment efficiency, and the overall administrator experience. "Centralized Management with a Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

I find Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management to be the central control system for all our company devices, like desktops, laptops, phones, and IoT devices. It lets IT teams manage and fix all devices from one place instead of doing everything manually, saving a lot of time by automating updates and fixing issues remotely. The centralized device management feature is essential, providing a single dashboard to view and control all endpoints, making it easy to monitor device health, check compliance, and take action without physically accessing the device. Other valuable features include remote control and troubleshooting, which help our IT team quickly fix user issues and application management tools that make it easy to deploy, update, and remove software across all endpoints consistently. I love it and would definitely rate it 8 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

One challenge is that the platform can feel quite complex at the beginning, especially for new IT staff. It takes time and proper training to fully understand all features and automation options. The initial setup wasn’t completely straightforward and required careful configuration, like setting up the core environment, defining policies, and integrating it with existing systems such as identity management and directory services. "Flexible, Scalable But Complex Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

I appreciate Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management's flexibility and scalability. It supports multiple operating systems and integrates well with our existing IT infrastructure. The strong automation for routine endpoint management tasks is also a big plus, as it saves time and reduces manual effort. Managing diverse devices from a single platform is a huge advantage, maintaining a secure and efficient endpoint management process is critical for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

I find the initial configuration and advanced settings a bit tough and complex for new administrators. I think the setup should be simplified with step-by-step setup wizards and clearer product guidance. It's not very easy, and this should be simplified for users. "Takes healthcare IT from reactive firefighting to proactive management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

The best part is how easily it helps our healthcare clients track and secure a chaotic environment. Hospitals have thousands of devices—laptops, tablets, and rolling medical carts—constantly moving around. Ivanti automatically finds and maps every single asset. It also handles critical security updates quietly in the background, meaning a nurse is never hit with a forced computer reboot while trying to check a patient's chart. It keeps the hospital secure and compliant without slowing down their daily care. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

The custom reporting could definitely be more intuitive. While all the data is in the system, building specific reports for a hospital environment—like tracking license usage or device updates across different wards—takes more clicks and manual tweaking than it should. We’d love to see simpler, more flexible reporting templates right out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Automation, Slight Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

I appreciate Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management for its powerful automation and self-healing capabilities, which significantly reduce the burden on our IT support team by automatically detecting and resolving common endpoint issues. The centralized cloud console provides excellent, real-time visibility into all network assets and device health. Its patch management is highly robust, allowing us to deploy critical OS and third-party updates seamlessly across both remote and on-premise endpoints. I also value the granular control over deployment windows and compliance enforcement, which ensures our security posture remains tight. The true value comes from the combined workflow of patch management, automation, and self-healing features that maintain compliance across our remote and on-premise fleet without constant manual intervention. Switching to this cloud-native, unified platform has vastly simplified remote endpoint discovery, real-time automation, and multi-OS patching without the heavy infrastructure overhead. The initial cloud onboarding and setup were relatively straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

The reporting engine and dashboard customization could definitely be improved. While the main console offers decent high-level statistics, generating highly customized compliance reports for upper management or drilling down into very specific endpoint queries can sometimes feel rigid and unintuitive. It often requires a deeper learning curve to build complex query filters, so making the report builder more user-friendly and drag-and-drop oriented would add a lot of value. The initial cloud onboarding and console setup were relatively straightforward since it's a cloud-native platform, which saved us from provisioning heavy local server infrastructure. However, the complexity lies in configuring the initial agent deployment policies and aligning the automation workflows to match our specific environment rules. While getting the baseline platform running takes minimal effort, fine-tuning the advanced configuration and compliance templates does require a bit of a learning curve and solid planning. The only reason it's not a perfect 10 is the slight learning curve required for initial setup and the need for a lighter endpoint agent on older hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lightweight Backend, But Missing Auditing and Remote Control UI challenges"
2/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

Low backend footprint. Not having a core or DB server to manage simplifies the physical requirements needed to deploy the solution on our company’s network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

Previous Response: It’s lacking many common, standard features, like auditing. The remote control can be unstable, and the control UI implementation is poor. For example, mapping Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V is awkward: you have to use the keyboard command, wait for a prompt, and then press Ctrl+V to paste. If you right-click and select Paste instead, it clears the clipboard. You have a complete database of inventoried data, but no real way to report on it without flat table dumps from Device View Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Agent Overview and Fast Endpoint Responses"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

Quick responses on any endpoint, but you still have to do a few things yourself. The overview of all the agents you have is excellent and covers all parts of the endpoint, including patching and queries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management?

If I’m being blunt, Ivanti Neurons for Unified Endpoint Management isn’t a bad product, but it does come with a few recurring pain points that teams tend to run into.

The biggest issue is complexity. The platform is extremely feature-rich, and that depth comes with a steep learning curve. The initial setup, policy configuration, and day-to-day management can feel unintuitive unless your team already has solid experience with endpoint management tools. Compared with something like Microsoft Intune, Ivanti often feels less streamlined and harder to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
