All employment contracts, attendance logs, applicant files and payroll figures live in one secure space, so we no longer jump between scattered standalone tools to pull client records. Its automated calculation logic built around EU labor rules drastically cuts human error when calculating overtime caps under ArbZG and mandatory pay disclosures required by EntgTranspG for our German business clients. I also rely heavily on its native GDPR consent tracking and adjustable data retention timers; these features shave hours off our pre-inspection audit prep each month. There are several German-market shortfalls that add consistent admin overhead to our compliance routines. The platform ships zero pre-made audit report templates formatted to meet HGB and ArbZG official inspection standards, meaning I have to restructure every exported dataset manually before submission to regulators. Payroll exports for DATEV frequently carry minor formatting bugs that require post-export edits in Excel. Mass bulk edits to data retention policies for fixed-term staff contracts run sluggishly and often stall mid-process. On top of that, the German-speaking support team has long response times for complex GDPR permission setup tickets, which delays our month-end payroll audit workflows. It helps keep all employee-related information organized and accessible, which is useful for small business operations where managing HR tasks efficiently is important. One area that could be improved is the navigation. Sometimes it feels a bit complex, especially when trying to find specific features quickly. Sometimes the menu structure isn't very intuitive and it takes extra time to locate specific features or settings. For example, when managing payroll or updating employee details, I often have to go through multiple sections instead of accessing everything from a single clear dashboard. I like that iTrent offers a manager self-serve platform and an employee self-serve platform. It's partly customizable, which allows managers to be self-sufficient in how they work. I dislike the search function, When you search to add a candidate to a postion it feels and looks like i could be selecting any/the wrong position as the same name. What do you dislike about iTrent? when something doesn't work. it takes a while to resolve. also the user manual are not the best. too many technical language used. if the manual were easier to read. people could solve issue themselves rather than contact MHR support, which sometimes takes a while for it to be resolved. MHR iTrent is one of the top apps I have used as an HR and it has a beautiful interface that is simple and elegant. Navigation is easy as well the multi functions it offers. Highly recommend.
