## Iterable Reviews
  ### 1. Easy-to-use ESP with flexible and versatile tools and impressive customer support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace G. | Senior channel marketing specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is a straightforward platform that can do a lot. Its engagement and personalisation features are great and customer support is amazing. The UI is easy to use and they don't over-complicate their tools. They're also bringing in a bunch of cool AI tools I'm excited to use.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

As Iterable is still growing, it doesn't have some of the tools other ESPs provide (like preference centres), but they have partnerships with other providers, and I understand this feature, as well as others (like SMS) are coming soon.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Iterable to target customers in different stages of their journey. Iterable makes it easy to segment these customers and contact them at the right time with the right information.

  ### 2. A Stable, Flexible Platform for Modern Lifecycle Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is significantly more stable and reliable than other ESPs I’ve worked in. I’ve used platforms where glitches, lag, or inconsistent behavior created friction in day-to-day execution — that hasn’t been my experience with Iterable. Campaigns build cleanly, journeys function as expected, and segmentation updates predictably, which builds trust in the system.

The segmentation and Journey Builder are both powerful and intuitive. We’re able to build fairly sophisticated lifecycle programs without heavy engineering dependency, and the UI makes it easy to QA, iterate, and scale. That balance between flexibility and usability is one of the platform’s biggest strengths.

Customer support has also been a standout. Responses are thoughtful, timely, and solution-oriented — not just surface-level troubleshooting. Beyond that, the product team is genuinely receptive to feedback. I’ve shared input on specific functionality, and have seen tangible adjustments and improvements made as a result. That level of responsiveness makes the relationship feel like a partnership rather than just a vendor contract.

Finally, their integration ecosystem is strong. Iterable connects well with the broader marketing stack, which makes activation across channels and tools much more seamless.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

At times, it feels like product prioritization leans toward larger, headline features — such as the AI suite — while smaller quality-of-life improvements that would meaningfully enhance day-to-day usability take longer to address. The platform is powerful, but there are workflow and UI refinements that could make it even more efficient for power users managing high campaign volume.

Additionally, while the experiment reporting is strong from a data perspective, the experimentation framework itself doesn’t always align cleanly with how many lifecycle marketers conceptually structure tests. The measurement capabilities are there, but the setup and organization of experiments can feel slightly disconnected from standard marketing test design (e.g., how teams think about holdouts, variable isolation, or campaign-level vs. journey-level testing).

Neither of these issues are blockers, but they represent opportunities to better align product development with how practitioners actually operate day to day.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves two major operational challenges for our team: audience autonomy and cross-channel orchestration.

First, its segmentation capabilities reduce our dependency on engineering and data teams for audience creation. In an environment where those resources are focused on core product work, being able to independently build and activate dynamic audiences is critical. It allows us to move faster, iterate more frequently, and respond to behavioral signals in near real time.

Second, Iterable centralizes multi-channel communication. Instead of managing email, push, and other touchpoints in separate tools, we can orchestrate them within a single journey framework. That enables us to design more cohesive lifecycle experiences rather than isolated campaigns. We’re able to map communication to user behavior across channels and build more comprehensive engagement paths.

The combined benefit is speed, flexibility, and greater strategic control over the customer experience — without adding operational complexity.

  ### 3. A powerful platform with an intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

We had a really positive onboarding experience. The Iterable team took the time to understand our company's specific needs and how we could accomplish our goals with their tools. They created extensive documentation around our use cases with clear goals.
Since we've started using the platform it's been easy to activate on our user data and introduce other members of our team to the tools. Our CSM works closely with us on new initiatives and takes our concerns seriously.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Iterable needs to update its NHI filtering to include activity monitoring. They are missing a native connector to LinkedIn ads that would be super helpful.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us more easily activate on user data and saving a ton of time.

  ### 4. User-Friendly and Intuitive Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle D. | CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is intuitive, easy to navigate and user-friendly. I value the ability to build and manage multi-channel campaigns all within a single platform. In particular, the segmentation tool has opened up new ways to refine our targeting, while the drag-and-drop builder has saved our team both time and effort.

Customer support has also been excellent. Shoutout to our CSM Claire, who has been instrumental in troubleshooting and making sure we get the most out of the platform. I appreciate being able to submit feature requests and actually see them implemented, as this involvement makes me feel connected to the development of the features I use and more invested in the platform overall.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

There's a couple of areas where I'd appreciate further development, e.g. functionality to organise lists and group them into folders, and also a clear way to monitor the growth and development of lists and segments over time.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable enables us to manage multiple multi-channel lifecycle campaigns with ease. It's opened up new opportunities for personalisation and segmentation so we can target the right audience, at the right time, with the right message.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Supporting intuitive campaign management and meaningful personalization is core to what we aim to deliver, so it’s encouraging to see that reflected in your experience. It’s also great to hear that collaboration with your CSM and the ability to submit feature requests have added value. Your input on list organization and visibility into segment growth is noted and appreciated as we evolve the platform. Thanks for taking the time to leave a review.

  ### 5. Effortless Multi-Channel Journeys, Needs Deeper Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** paavan c. | Lead Data Analyst, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like how Iterable makes complex multi-channel customer journeys easy to design and operate without heavy engineering support. A new user can quickly and easily track the flow for a marketing campaign setup for a custom audience, and you can search for individual users via their user ID. I appreciate how it helps us send the right message to the right customer segment at the right time via email. The initial setup was fairly easy, making it less daunting to start using.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

It's harder to get deep funnel analysis and journey level impact which can be more valuable. It can add multi-step product funnels like signup, KYC, first transaction, and repeat usage. Measure journey level impact like for holdout and non-holdout group.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to automate and personalize communication, send emails to the right segment at the right time, and design complex multi-channel journeys easily without heavy engineering. New users can easily track marketing campaigns and search by user ID.

  ### 6. Reliable Platform for Email Campaigns and Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan S. | Senior Digital Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable features an intuitive user interface, a convenient drag-and-drop email template editor and email journey builder. It also offers robust audience segmentation and a variety of reporting options.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The options for sorting and searching campaigns could use some improvement, particularly once you have created hundreds of them. It would also be helpful to have the ability for users to generate events directly from the frontend. Usage limits on profiles, sends, and events require careful planning as you scale.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable enables us to centralize and automate our customer communications, which simplifies the process of running personalized email campaigns and onboarding journeys. The platform's segmentation and workflow features help boost engagement, and its comprehensive analytics give us the insights needed to optimize for a stronger ROI. Iterable saves us time, streamlines our processes, and elevates the overall customer experience.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your feedback on Iterable's features and capabilities. We appreciate your suggestions for improvement, and we will take them into consideration as we continue to enhance the platform. We're pleased to hear that Iterable has been beneficial in centralizing and automating your customer communications.

  ### 7. Powerful Tool with Journey Excellence, Needs Better Admin Transparency & Basic Admin Functionality

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendall R.

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I think the best thing about Iterable is its Journey functionality and the user-friendly nature of the builder. The Journeys are incredibly flexible, and it's easy to troubleshoot issues later or see where patients went. The flow chart structure is intuitive, even for folks not in Iterable daily. Also, being able to pull segmentation lists and feed patients into intelligent Journeys helps walk them through engagement steps, lifting the load for our support team. We also leverage SMS and Push, which makes it even easier to engage the audience.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I would like to see an easier way to pull someone out of a Journey, as managing this is not as intuitive as it could be. It would be helpful if I could easily remove or drop someone into a Journey much like handling user details or lists. Updating field values directly on a User Detail page would save so much time for certain scenarios instead of using the API portal or creating a webhook. The reporting functionality could be improved by drilling down into specific user actions, like seeing which 5 people clicked in a campaign, directly from the report. Finally, there are some 'black box' elements in Iterable's design decisions that could be more transparent for admins, and the Knowledge Base does not adequately address common points of confusion, having too many 'happy path' articles rather than clarifying articles for when something does not work entirely smoothly the first time.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable automates patient communications, moving them from registration to scheduling appointments without manual support intervention, reducing our team's load. It uses SMS and Push to enhance engagement, creating a comprehensive Journey ecosystem that intelligently guides patients through their next steps.

  ### 8. Outstanding Support and Intuitive Interface with Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor B. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I truly appreciate the CSM support and the assistance we receive through our dedicated channel. Both Joy and Haitham are consistently available, always ready to help, and they proactively address any difficulties we encounter, working hard to find solutions. I also find the interface very user-friendly and easy to navigate. The AI features, including STO, Frequency Optimisation, and Predictive Goals, are excellent additions that enhance the overall experience. I find Email, Push and SMS all very ease to set up and use.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

-When new features are rolled out and some features are retired it's not always communicated well.
-It can sometimes be a little buggy & glitchy

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One stack solution for all channels - Email, SMS and Push, allowing the team to create seamless customer journeys.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback on our CSM support and intuitive interface. We understand the importance of clear communication on new features and will strive to enhance this. Our team is dedicated to resolving any bugs or glitches to ensure a smooth experience.

  ### 9. A great all-in-one CRM solution!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable has changed how we do CRM as it's such a flexible system that allows us to send to our customers all over the world with ease, handlebars means one template can be used worldwide. It's also becoming an all-in-one solution for omnichannel marketing which means we can use one tool for all our uses. Customer support helped us onboard and get to know the system, they're very fast to answer.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Some features need work and improvement (Alerts, AI), it would also be good to have more flexibility over emails in the D&D editor, like being able to annotate emails in Gmail for promos - features that smaller tools provide.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is helping us do marketing automation to a global audience with it's all-in-one solution. The more data you give it - the smarter it is.

  ### 10. Versatile Platform with Impressive Segmentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love Iterable's audience segmentation capability because it lets us really drill down into our audience and get so personalized. The high-level opportunities for segmentation and the dynamic fields we use within one email, with if-then statements, make our content super personalized. I also really love the embedded message feature—it allows us to add additional placements within the app with a low engineering lift. I like how versatile Iterable is; it's very robust and meets all our needs. I find it convenient and straightforward to work with different channels easily, whether from the campaign builder or the journey builder. I love the ability to save templates and use them quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I've really missed having an easy way to add or upload photos, but I appreciate that a media library is coming. This has been lacking for a couple of years. Also, the initial setup was a beast, mainly because we were figuring out how we wanted to use the product best.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love Iterable for its audience segmentation capabilities, allowing us to drill down and personalize content easily. The embedded message feature simplifies adding placements in the app with minimal engineering effort. The variety of channels and ease of editing campaigns are also convenient.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying Iterable's audience segmentation capabilities and finding it convenient and straightforward to work with different channels. We appreciate your feedback about the need for an easier way to add or upload photos, and we're excited to let you know that a media library is in the works to address this. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

  ### 11. Easy to Use, Creative Logic, and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver M. | Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

It's easy to use and straightforward. The handlebar logic is really dynamic and you can get very creative with how to use it and set things up properly. There's also a host of channels that you have access to whether that's email, push, SMS or WhatsApp. The support team and Customer Success team are also always super helpful, and quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The journey builder could be more detailed in terms of who is in the flow where they are, and where they exited. And sometimes there are a few small bugs. That happens, so nothing I really dislike.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is our main tool for all customer communication. Without it, we wouldn't have a scalable way to reach out to our customers.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're delighted to hear that Iterable is your main tool for customer communication and is helping you reach your customers at scale. We appreciate your support and will continue to enhance our platform for your benefit.

  ### 12. Highly Personalized Marketing with an Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate P.

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I use Iterable for sending email, SMS, and push notifications to our customers. I love that it gives us the ability to be highly personalized with our customer base and allows us to have a single platform to send all of our communications. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use, which makes planning journeys and segmentation quick and easy. Testing is also easy because of this.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I do find Iterable can be quite 'buggy' - sometimes things don't work quite as expected or could be more customer friendly. When adding an image into a campaign, the tiny dot at the top of the image must be clicked specifically, rather than just clicking the whole image. Also, when adding an image to a campaign, it would be ideal if the most recently opened file in the creative library automatically opened again to save time.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to be highly personalized with our customer base and sends all communications from a single platform. Its intuitive design makes planning journeys and segmentation quick and easy.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> It's great to hear that Iterable is helping you with personalized communications and journey planning. We value your feedback about the user interface and will take steps to improve the functionality and address the issues you've mentioned.

  ### 13. Streamlined Automation with Some Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver W. | Senior CRM Executive

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find Iterable immensely beneficial for automating our marketing tasks, which spans across different phases of the customer lifecycle - from early customer journeys to retention and win-back. This capability has significantly helped us manage the customer lifecycle and enhance company metrics. I particularly appreciate the frequency cap feature, which is crucial in preventing us from spamming our customers. Additionally, the easy integration with Movable Ink stands out as a potent advantage. This direct integration is facilitated by Iterable's simple and user-friendly UX, making the process seamless and more efficient. The Iterable platform's ease in sending marketing messages across various channels, including emails, push notifications, SMS, and in-app, is another valued feature. Finally, the fast-response time from Iterable support is greatly appreciated and has come in handy during times of distress. Overall, these aspects of Iterable align well with our goals and processes, boosting our operational efficiency and effectiveness in marketing.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I dislike the limit on the number of dynamic fields allowed in Iterable and the inability to delete existing dynamic fields. This constraint forces us to reuse previous fields to avoid reaching our limit, which can become quite messy.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to automate customer journeys, improving company metrics and managing lifecycles. It prevents spamming with frequency caps and offers seamless integration with MovableInk, enhancing marketing efficiency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Iterable has been immensely beneficial for automating your marketing tasks and managing the customer lifecycle. We appreciate your feedback on the frequency cap feature, easy integration with Movable Ink, and the ease of sending marketing messages across various channels. We understand your concerns about the limit on dynamic fields and the inability to delete existing ones, and we'll share this feedback with our product team for consideration.

  ### 14. Streamlined Email Marketing with Intuitive UX

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leanne R. | Senior Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I really appreciate the user experience (UX) and how easy it is to navigate through the various features and tools within Iterable. The drag and drop feature in the email builder is exceptionally user-friendly, allowing for easy tweaks and customizations. I find the setup of journeys to be straightforward, and the AI prompts and tools integrated into the journeys facilitate easy updates and help in streamlining processes. Overall, these aspects make managing email marketing, transactional emails, and embedded messaging tasks quite seamless.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the asset library in Iterable challenging because it currently limits access to only those assets and images uploaded through email builds. If there were a dedicated library section available, it would significantly ease the process of reviewing all available assets more clearly.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to seamlessly communicate with customers through marketing activity updates, ensuring they receive order updates and transactional emails throughout the process.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Iterable easy to use and full of functionality. Our drag and drop tools are designed to make campaign building simple and efficient.

  ### 15. Intuitive and Innovative, But Initial Setup Can Be Challenging

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love how Iterable has an easy-to-use interface, making the platform really easy to navigate, which simplifies my work process substantially. The innovative approach they take is highly commendable, as it allows me to explore new ways to enhance our marketing strategies effectively. I appreciate that Iterable often rolls out new features, keeping the platform cutting-edge and allowing me to add variables to the experiment sessions to optimize our marketing efforts further. The ability to send personalized messages to different segments at the optimal time with send/time optimization is a standout feature that significantly improves our communication effectiveness. Additionally, the platform's capability to integrate effortlessly with tools like Salesforce and Snowflake makes it an invaluable part of our marketing stack.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I found the initial setup of Iterable to be quite slow and painful, particularly with the push and in-app setup. Additionally, the messaging insights could be improved as there is no way to get rid of unused metrics and track custom events.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to send personalized messages at the optimal time with send/time optimization and appreciate its user-friendly interface and innovative features.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience with Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you find our platform intuitive and innovative, and that it has simplified your work process while enhancing your marketing strategies.

We apologize for any challenges you faced during the initial setup. Your feedback on the push and in-app setup process is valuable to us, and we will work on improving this aspect. We also appreciate your input on messaging insights and tracking custom events, and we will take this into consideration for future updates.

If you have any specific suggestions or further feedback, please feel free to reach out to our support team. We are here to assist you and ensure you have a seamless experience with Iterable. Thank you for choosing Iterable for your marketing needs!

  ### 16. A powerful all-in-one solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

A major advantage of Iterable for us is being able to integrate all communication channels through one platform with simple interface anyone on the team can easily get started with. Setting up email campaigns does not require a lot of dev effort and technical skills while offering a lot of flexibility in terms of segmentation, advanced sending logic, and A/B testing.

In a year, the platform has rolled out some cool usability improvements, like Creative Library and UX enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Some features still need work, like Brand Affinity, which now only considers user's email activity and not real loyalty towards the brand. Another downside is support - while the Support Team always responds promptly to ongoing questions, some larger-scale requests, like project migrations, could take a long time to complete.

It would be great if Iterable-side bugs and tech issues were communicated officially.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable helps us automate email marketing activities, which ensures we cover 100% of user's journey within our product and also convert non-paying customers into our active users through promotional campaigns. Iterable's A/B testing capabilities allow us to maintain high testing pace, easily iterate on successful variants, and test lots of variables, from subjects & design elements to send times. It's also easy to onboard new team members into our retention channels thanks to intuitive interface (which has improved quite a lot over the past year) and extensive docs

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback on Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you find our all-in-one solution beneficial for integrating communication channels and simplifying email campaign setup. We appreciate your insights on areas for improvement, such as enhancing the Brand Affinity feature and streamlining support for larger-scale requests.

We're committed to addressing these concerns and ensuring a seamless experience for all our users. If you have any further feedback or need assistance with project migrations or any other aspect of Iterable, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help and support you every step of the way!

  ### 17. User-Friendly Interface and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable stands out among competitors for their:
- Simple UI
- User friendly interface
- Great customer support
- Constantly improving features
- Ask frequently for user feedback
- Love love love the experimentation tab where you can see all your experiments and results
- Brand affinity score: amazing way to check users who are engaged with your brand

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

- There could be more features added to enhance testing and channels, they are working on it and it's nothing really crucial to using it as a Customer Engagement Platform
- The analytics dashboard is not stellar, but still has a lot of useful information, I trust them to improve their product
- Embedded messages and their use in journeys could be improved

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Enablement of wider marketing team
Previously we relied on 1-2 people in the email marketing team to create, review and send emails, along with audience creation. It drove them to burn out because it was an immense load to carry. We decided to invest in a software/platform that enables team members to own their comms. As of today, we are almost a year into using Iterable, and most colleagues in different departments have used it to build their emails along with our audience building tool Hightouch. They still are not experts and make mistakes, but slowly and surely they will be able to send their own comms faster and better. The straightforward UI and UX was the main reason we decided to go for Iterable.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable, including the simple UI, user-friendly interface, and great customer support. We are committed to continuously improving our product, including enhancing the analytics dashboard and embedded messages in journeys. We value your feedback and are grateful for your support.

  ### 18. Intuitive Platform with Strong Segmentation, Needs Better Conversion Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David .

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I really appreciate how intuitive Iterable is, making it easy to navigate and use, especially the visual journey builder, which allows me to design complex workflows with ease. The platform's segmentation tools are also a standout, enabling us to deliver highly personalized messages without needing developers. Additionally, I find the integrations seamless and the personalization features robust, which together create a comprehensive, connected experience that is easy to manage. The clear analytics provided by Iterable also give me confidence in assessing the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. Furthermore, the ability to centralize various communication channels like in-app, push, emails, and SMS into one flow is a major advantage, simplifying the management of customer interactions and journeys.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find that the conversion tracking in Iterable could be significantly improved. Currently, it does not work as reliably or accurately as needed, which affects our ability to trust the campaign performance data. This lack of reliability makes optimizations difficult. We would greatly benefit from more reliable tracking, clearer documentation, and stronger attribution options.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to centralize and automate email marketing workflows, managing complex customer journeys and sending personalized messages at scale. It simplifies audience segmentation and integrates multiple communication channels in one place, enhancing our marketing efficiency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 19. Good journey builder, lot of new features on a quarterly basis, good product roadmap

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanni K. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

A lot of intuitive features, constantly improving therefore always something new to experiment with, customer support is usually fast to reply and to reach. Journey builder is easy to use with drap&drop UX. Segmentation is also advanced, and it's easy to integrate custom events and fields. Product roadmap is hopefully bringins a lot of new solutions to our problems, such as the reporting issue

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Reporting features, messaging insights are often not easily accessible, There are some annoying parts about duplicating journeys or tiles within a journey.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It connects all our data coming from apps, web and makes crm communication, segmentation and evaluations easier.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We’re glad the journey builder and segmentation tools are enabling that for your team. Your notes on reporting visibility and workflow friction when duplicating journeys are valuable insights we’ll share internally. Thanks for sharing your feedback.

  ### 20. Wide Range of Features for Efficient Audience Targeting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyansh P. | Application Development Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

It offers a wider range of built-in features that can help you reach your target audience as efficiently as possible.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

While using Iterable, I have encountered a few challenges. For example, it does not allow you to delete fields once they have been created. Additionally, event-related data is not stored in a structured format, which can be limiting.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Iterable Data Feed solution proved to be very useful for us, allowing us to fetch data on demand whenever we needed to populate an email template. This approach means we don't have to store the data directly in Iterable.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable. We're pleased to hear that the Iterable Data Feed solution has been beneficial for your needs. We understand the importance of flexibility and will take note of your concerns about deleting fields and storing event-related data in a structured format.

  ### 21. Simplicity Wins, but Needs Asset Library Improvements

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren C.

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I appreciate the simplicity of use in Iterable, allowing me to understand the user interface with minimal knowledge of its specific tools. This ease of use is especially beneficial because of my prior experience with other platforms, which helps me navigate Iterable effectively without needing extensive training.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find the asset library difficult to access and manage within Iterable. It would be beneficial to have a quick link to access the library from a bookmark for more convenience. Additionally, I am unable to edit or revise the name of an album after it has been created, which is limiting.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Iterable to effectively send marketing emails and share program benefits, reinforcing value to customers with its simple and intuitive UI.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Lauren,
It’s helpful to know the platform’s simplicity is supporting your work. We also understand your frustrations with the asset library workflow and the limitations around editing album names, that context helps inform where we can focus enhancements. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 22. Great Email Marketing Program!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable's layout is super easy to use. I use it daily for campaigns and journeys and it has a lot of features that make it easy to clone and edit these.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I would like to see more analytics when it comes to pulling multiple campaigns. Also, for segmentation, it would be nice to be able to see the users who are being removed for each filter.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable helps with our everyday use to email sends.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Iterable's layout easy to use and that it has features that make it easy to clone and edit campaigns and journeys. We appreciate your feedback about wanting more analytics for pulling multiple campaigns and improved segmentation visibility. We'll definitely take this into consideration for future updates.

  ### 23. Intuitive Interface and Powerful Segmentation Make This a Standout Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieron B. | Marketing Operations Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

The segmentation tool is super helpful. Much easier than some other tools I've use.
I also love the interface. Well laid out, easy to find stuff.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I dislike that I can't delete or edit user and event fields. (I know, you hear this a lot)
I really wish I had folders for lists. I hear this is coming soon.
I wish user profiles had a "history" feature, where you can see when fields were added / changed. (similar to how you can view a contact record history in HubSpot)

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Embedded messages help us display stuff in our apps without having to get our eng teams involved each time.
Segmentation tools are super helpful, previously we were using SQL heavy products for this

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find our segmentation tool and interface helpful. We apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced with user and event field management, and we are actively working on addressing this issue. Your feedback about folder organization for lists and user profile history feature is important to us, and we are working on enhancing these aspects of our platform to better serve your needs.

  ### 24. Best-in-class Engagement Platform with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh R. | Head of Lifecycle Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is a best-in-class engagement platform that I would definitely select and implement again. It has become a critical part of our tech stack and our customer experience. Special shout-out to Claire on the CX team as well as the entire Customer Support team. The customer-facing teams have been amazing over the years.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

It could use some love on media management and data schema management but I know these are currently in the works. Also some better out-of-the-box reporting could be helpful.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is our primary platform for orchestrating customer-facing scaled communication. Onboarding journeys, transactional messages, crisis response, feature launch... We do it all from Iterable in a way that maintains brand consistency while driving business and customer impact.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your kind words about Iterable being a best-in-class engagement platform and the amazing support from our CX and Customer Support teams. We understand the importance of media and data schema management, and we're actively working on enhancing these features. Your feedback on reporting is also noted, and we're committed to providing better out-of-the-box reporting solutions.

  ### 25. Great ESP, even better people

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie D. | Email Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable has been great for us in many ways;

- Event based triggers have allowed us to tap into customer moments and deliver personalised messaging.
- Iterable has also helped us achieve greater levels of personalisation including dynamic content (that we can really dial in using the agility of handlebar logic) and personalised STO.
- AI powered brand affinity score allows us identify users at different stages of brand loyalty and target them appropriately.
- Reusable content including snippets and saved content rows rapidly speeds up campaign creation.
- Reporting, list management and templates are also great.
- Iterable has extensive documentation, online training and and online community to offer support.

As much as we appreciate Iterable as an email solution, by far the best part of switching has been the people. We had great support whilst prospecting and on-boarding, and now working with out customer success manager who is readily available and offers great insight and support. Chat support is available on tap and very helpful, with further technical support available if needed. Iterable host a fantastic conference each year, as well as webinars.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Almost nothing! A small bugbear is the media library (libraries). We create our email campaigns using the brilliant drag and drop editor, but as mentioned also take full advantage of the snippets function, which uses the side-by-side editor. Unfortunately, they use different media libraries which means that storing assets that we use for both would mean duplication natively. Instead, we’re currently using our website CMS, however this could limit how we can take advantage of AI powered campaign building, which is coming soon in Iterable. We’re currently working this through.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tapping into customer moments with personalised messaging to build brand affinity and achieve business goals.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback! We're delighted to hear that Iterable has helped you achieve greater levels of personalization and tap into customer moments. We understand your concern about the media libraries and are actively working on solutions to improve this aspect. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to serve your needs.

  ### 26. A Customer-Centric Innovator in the CRM Space

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanda Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I really appreciate Iterable’s continuous drive for innovation and its commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and customer needs. One standout example is their upcoming AI Agent, launching this fall. It’s designed to revolutionize CRM management by automating key tasks and providing real-time insights, analytics, and predictions. The scale and ambition behind this initiative are impressive — it’s not just another AI feature, but a true assistant for CRM professionals.

What I also love is Iterable’s genuine focus on customer feedback. During the Marketing Masters syncs, they actively listen to our ideas and pain points and actually follow through on them. Their openness to co-create new solutions with users like us is a major differentiator. It’s clear that they’re building with — not just for — their customers, and that makes a huge difference in the day-to-day experience of using the platform.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

First off, I have to give kudos to Iterable for implementing the ability to save specific design blocks within the editor — this has been a game-changer in my daily workflow. It’s a perfect example of Iterable listening to customer feedback and turning it into real, tangible improvements. Thank you for making that happen!

In terms of future enhancements, one area that comes to mind is the Brand Affinity Insights. It would be incredibly valuable to filter trends by key markets (e.g., US vs. DE vs. UK) and to trace which specific campaigns have influenced shifts in affinity — such as increases in loyal vs. negative users. From what I’ve heard, some of this functionality might be included in the upcoming AI Agent Nova, which makes me even more excited for its launch this fall.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable's data feed capability helped solve one of our most time-consuming work, namely work with multiple languages and across multiple markets, using one single template that fits all. It's also highly capable in terms of using simple html and basic coding for allowing different visuals/different discounts/different prices to be shown to the right customer, which again, is extremely helpful when doing global marketing.

Also, Iterable's journeys are very easy to build, often very intuitive, and have complex capabilities --> which help automating more of the manual efforts and save a lot of time for a CRM manager.

  ### 27. A solid tool with great potential for improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Intuitive interface for basic tasks, making it easy to use.
Excellent implementation team that ensures a smooth onboarding process.
Responsive CMS support for resolving questions and doubts quickly.
Promising AI integration that adds value and efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

AI integration requires further refinement to reach full potential.
Customer support team could benefit from more extensive training.
Certain features need more robust development for better usability.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is solving the challenge of managing and executing customer engagement efficiently by providing an easy-to-use platform, making it easier to create and manage impactful marketing campaigns. These features save time, enhance productivity, and improve customer interactions, ultimately driving better engagement and results.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable. We are pleased to hear that our platform is saving you time and improving customer interactions. We are committed to continuous improvement and will take your feedback into consideration for future enhancements.

  ### 28. Lacking Features and Aggressive Renewal Tactics

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron S. | Client Accountant, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like that we were able to end the contract.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I don't like that Iterable lacks A/B testing and proper holdout functionality in their Journey feature. It also misses basic features like drop and hold testing, and they require a manual workaround that is cumbersome. Additionally, the company enforced an auto-renewal in full just three days after the window, which was frustrating. They even harassed employees with personal phone calls, which felt unprofessional and pushy. The initial setup wasn't easy. Overall, I would look for alternative providers in the future.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable lacked A/B testing and holdout functionality, and its manual workarounds were cumbersome.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We appreciate you sharing your review and understand how frustrating this experience was. While Iterable does offer experimentation and holdout capabilities, it’s clear the setup and overall experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments on journey testing, onboarding friction, and the renewal experience are serious and have been noted internally. Thank you for taking the time to leave an honest review.

  ### 29. Really intuitive platform with powerful capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucie B. | Email Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I find the platform very intuitive to use. I'm a fairly new user, having started in my role this year, and in a fast-paced email marketing environment, I do not have a lot of spare time to read lengthy manuals. I've found it so easy to find my way around, build and edit emails, and segment our lists to really hit the ground running in my role and deliver improvements quickly.
I find the interface really simple, allowing me to move seamlessly between campaigns, journeys and analytics.
A favourite feature I discovered recently is being able to save and name specific rows in emails, so that I can reuse them elsewhere. This has been of great benefit when refreshing our templates and ensuring that everything is on brand.
As a relatively new user, I have a lot to learn but I have already found the support team, Iterable Plaza and the wealth of FAQs to be a great support.
I'm really excited to discover how Iterable can help us to grow our business and how we communicate with our customers.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I find some of the segmentation options could be more straight forward, for instance creating non engager segments has been a challenge, as I would expect more intuitive straight-forward options, like "has not opened an email in the last xx days". It almost feels like you're having to work out a double negative to use this functionality.

I wish you could have folders within campaigns and journeys.

It's hard to split out performance results for different types of campaigns, e.g. engager vs non engager. I believe I have to go back and label everything to be able to do this.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Iterable, we have created a number of automated journeys, which will allow us to gradually reduce our use of individual campaigns. Creating these user journeys has allowed us to focus on giving our new prospects and users a great onboarding program to really familiarise themselves with the brand and build future loyalty.
Iterable is helping us to reduce time spent on creating campaigns for our customers, and freeing up more time to focus on improvements and developments.
Scheduling campaigns, particularly across other timezones has been a much-used feature which saves me time, so I can plan ahead and ensure campaigns are sent at the right time in the right timezone.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find Iterable intuitive and powerful! We're constantly working to make our platform user-friendly and efficient for all our customers, especially those in fast-paced environments. We appreciate your feedback on the segmentation options and folder organization, and we'll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 30. Exceptionally Easy-to-Use Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan G. | Senior CRM Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

The interface is very easy to use and navigate

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Maybe a little slower than other platforms releasing new features

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is enabling us to identify customers in real time, which allows us to target them with more relevant and personalized content. As a result, we are able to generate increased revenue from our campaigns.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We understand the importance of timely feature releases and are continuously working to enhance our platform's performance.

  ### 31. Exceptional Support and Effortless Usability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable support & customer account managers are a great help when using the platform - issues resolved quickly and a font of knowledge. Iterable itself is an easy to use platform with its drag and drop feature.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

It would be nice if we could track clicks within snippets when creating new templates. Also, the list logic can be a little difficult to work out at times.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has been valuable in supporting our marketing and communications efforts with customers across multiple brands and countries.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> It’s great to hear support from our team and the drag-and-drop usability are making your experience smoother. We understand the desire for deeper snippet analytics and clearer list logic, and that context helps inform where we can improve. Your feedback gives us valuable insight into real use cases, and we appreciate you sharing it with the community.

  ### 32. Feature-Rich Automation, But Needs Better Training Resources

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean V. | Head of Partnerships, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like how many features in automation and journeys it has as well as the dynamic segmented lists

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Iterable can be a little difficult to use. It would be helpful to have more documentation and training on optimizing the platform

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to provide customers with a crm platform for them to send out push and sms through our apps

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your feedback on the need for better documentation and training resources. We'll definitely take that into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 33. Great Support Team, But Feature Limitations Hold It Back

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie T. | CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

The team and technical support are helpful and quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

It's limited compared to an enterprise ESP, with a lot of features requiring third party software providers.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to communicate to our customers effectively, with relative ease.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Hi Charlie,
Thanks for sharing your perspective. We’re happy to hear our support team has been a bright spot, and we appreciate your candid feedback around feature limitations as we continue to evolve Iterable.

  ### 34. Flexible journeys, intuitive segmentation, and responsive support make Iterable a winner

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

The interface is easy to navigate, and the journey builder offers excellent flexibility to create highly customized campaigns. The segmentation tool is also fantastic—very intuitive and quick to build unique audiences on the fly. On top of that, the support team is responsive and helpful, even on a lower-tier package.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Sometimes flashy new features are prioritized over simple quality-of-life updates that would improve usability. There’s no way to capture list or audience growth over time, which makes long-term tracking difficult. Our project is userID-based, which complicates searching for individual users since IDs come from another system, and there’s currently no easy way to shift to a hybrid project.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Iterable for all of our marketing communications with our DTC customers. It allows us to manage lifecycle campaigns across email and push with ease, using personalization and segmentation to target the right audiences at the right time. This helps us drive stronger engagement, improve retention, and scale campaigns without adding extra manual work.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're delighted to hear that Iterable has been instrumental in managing your marketing communications and lifecycle campaigns, driving stronger engagement, improving retention, and scaling campaigns without extra manual work. We appreciate your feedback about the need for quality-of-life updates and the challenges with userID-based projects. We'll keep working to enhance our platform and address these concerns.

  ### 35. Activate to Elevate: My Activate 2025 Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabby A. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

As an active user of Iterable, I genuinely appreciate its intuitive and user-friendly interface. The Workflow Studio, in particular, makes building complex customer journeys feel smooth and manageable with its drag-and-drop functionality. Iterable’s personalization capabilities are also a standout—it allows for dynamic content and advanced segmentation, which helps us deliver more relevant messaging. The platform’s integration flexibility with other tools and data sources adds to its efficiency, and I’m especially grateful for the helpful documentation, webinars, and live events like Activate Virtual that keep users informed and inspired.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

While Iterable is a powerful platform, there are areas where it could be enhanced. Template management can sometimes feel a bit rigid, especially when trying to build visually rich or brand-heavy emails. I’ve experienced occasional lag or slowness when handling larger datasets or complex workflows. The analytics features, while useful for quick insights, could benefit from more robust and customizable reporting options. Lastly, A/B testing within journeys is somewhat limited—it would be great to have more advanced testing tools directly in workflows to better optimize campaign performance.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is solving the challenge of delivering personalized, timely, and data-driven communication at scale. In an environment where customer expectations are constantly evolving, the platform helps bridge the gap between raw data and meaningful engagement. For me, this means being able to create tailored user journeys, automate campaigns with precision, and respond to user behavior in real-time—all without heavy engineering support. It simplifies complex workflows, improves audience segmentation, and ensures messages reach the right people at the right time. Ultimately, it’s helping our team build stronger customer relationships while increasing operational efficiency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Iterable, particularly the ease of building complex customer journeys and the platform's integration flexibility. Also glad to hear that you enjoyed Activate! We understand your concerns about template management, lag with larger datasets, and limited A/B testing within journeys. Your feedback is valuable, and we'll use it to continue enhancing the platform to better meet your needs.

  ### 36. Effortless Onboarding and Comprehensive ESP Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is very easy to navigate, with little training required to get new team members started with it. It has all the features that you'd expect from an ESP.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

We have to use suppression lists, which count towards our number of users, even though we will never send anything to them.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email automation and dynamic templates

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Iterable's onboarding process effortless and that you appreciate its comprehensive ESP features. We understand your concern about suppression lists counting towards your user count and will definitely take this feedback into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 37. Iterable is unmatched for orgs that need to send in-app comms internationally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel P. | Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Locales are my favorite feature within Iterable. It saves me a ton of time being able to clone out the EN version of an email to translate it in 7 different languages.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I wish you had a custom builder, the current 3rd party tool is a bit dated. By having your own building tool, the UI would be much more cohesive.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to send localized emails, SMS, in-app pops, and pushes to our members every day. By leveraging automations we are cutting down on our daily ad hoc sends.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear that you find our locales feature helpful for sending emails in multiple languages. We appreciate your suggestion for a custom builder and will definitely take it into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 38. Feature-Rich with Excellent Support, Needs Better Broken Link Alerts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

So many features, great support team! I didn't realize all the extra marketing tools it has until our rep shared with us the full potential. Looking forward to using more of the features

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Wish it would give me a warning when CTA links are broken

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our entire email program use Iterable. Love the analytics shared for each send.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you're finding value in our marketing tools and support. We'll definitely take your feedback about broken link alerts into account as we continue to enhance our platform.

  ### 39. Phenomenal support and super user-friendly platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Support feels instant, and everyone I speak to has an in-depth understanding of the product and its nuances. I feel that our team is able to push boundaries because of the support we receive for our questions and suggestions. We can also generate great personalized content because of the platform's flexibility. They're always letting us know about incoming improvements to the platform. It is a very intuitive platform and documentation is extremely thorough. In the off chance that documentation only gets you 98% of the way there, the support team is always ready to get you to your goal. Integration to Segment was incredibly straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Cannot change a user trait's data type or name once it is cast. Downloading a high-volume CSV from a list takes a very long time.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy personalization, robust segmentation that supports regex is very helpful, and the flexibility within each feature like Journeys and Catalogs is great across our many use cases.

  ### 40. New Customers - Enjoying Onboarding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

We've had a fantastic onboarding experience with Iterable. The entire team has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always willing to roll up their sleeves and support us every step of the way. For a large, multi-brand onboarding, the process has been impressively seamless. We're already seeing efficiencies across both internal processes and customer experience. I'm also genuinely impressed by how quickly my team has been able to get up to speed on the platform.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

While our overall onboarding experience has been positive, there were a few challenges along the way. As we began implementing our use cases, we found that some features we assumed were available needed to be added or customized—despite having taken a thorough approach during the RFP and presentation process. That was a bit frustrating and caused some unexpected delays. Additionally, we encountered a few bugs that were known to other teams within Iterable but hadn’t yet been communicated to our onboarding team. This resulted in some lag time as they tracked down the necessary information internally. Improved internal knowledge sharing could help streamline the experience in situations like this.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is helping us drive greater efficiency in our marketing operations while improving personalization across email and SMS. We wanted to enhance the customer experience on both channels, and Iterable gives us the tools to do that effectively. It allows us to treat email and SMS as distinct channels while still leveraging shared data to create a seamless, connected customer journey.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback. We apologize for the challenges you encountered during the onboarding process. We're continuously working to improve our feature communication and internal knowledge sharing to provide a more seamless experience.

  ### 41. A Flexible and Powerful Platform With Room to Grow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeni H. | Director of CRM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is a powerful, flexible platform that makes it easy to build, test, and optimize both email and SMS campaigns in one place. The user interface is intuitive and visually clean, which makes navigating between journeys, templates, and reporting much smoother than some other tools I’ve used. I especially appreciate the dynamic content capabilities and how seamlessly it integrates with our customer data, allowing us to personalize messaging at scale. The flexibility in segmentation, along with the ability to trigger campaigns based on real-time customer behavior, has been a game-changer for our lifecycle strategy.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

While Iterable is robust, some parts of the platform can feel clunky or underdeveloped. Reporting is one area that could use improvement—it can be difficult to pull detailed, customized reports without resorting to external tools or custom API work. Journey versioning also isn’t as seamless as I’d like; managing multiple versions of a workflow can get messy and hard to track. Additionally, loading times for certain features (especially journeys and large templates) can be slow, which can interrupt workflow when you're making quick updates. Lastly, while support is responsive, there’s sometimes a gap between ticket responses and true resolution, especially for more technical issues.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable solves the challenge of delivering personalized, timely, and data-driven marketing across multiple channels—email, SMS, push, and more—without needing to rely heavily on engineering support. It addresses the fragmentation of tools and data that often slow down CRM and lifecycle strategies, enabling marketers to build seamless, automated journeys that respond to real-time customer behavior.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you find Iterable to be a powerful and flexible platform for building and optimizing email and SMS campaigns. We appreciate your feedback on the user interface and dynamic content capabilities, as well as the seamless integration with customer data.

  ### 42. Experience Using Iterable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabian A. | Automation and Database Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is an amazing CRM system, particularly for those who value robust automation features.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

One area where there’s room for improvement is the ability to export HTML templates, would reallylike this. Currently, exporting templates often results in missing content or incomplete coding, which can be frustrating when porting templates to other platforms.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable is solving the challenge of creating personalized, multi-channel customer experiences at a large scale which is good because I work for a huge automotive company. By enabling advanced automation, it simplifies the process of managing email, SMS, and webhook communications, ensuring that messages are timely, relevant, and consistency.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for highlighting the benefits of Iterable in solving the challenge of creating personalized, multi-channel customer experiences at a large scale. We'll continue to focus on improving the platform to better meet the needs of our users.

  ### 43. Great UI and Easy Building, But Reporting and Customization Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison E. | Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like the user interface and the ease to build

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The reporting capabilities are limited and can't customize campaigns as much

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick to build campaigns

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We're pleased that you find Iterable's user interface and building process to be great. We acknowledge the limitations in reporting and customization, and we are actively working on enhancing these aspects to provide a more comprehensive solution for our users.

  ### 44. Easy-to-use email marketing software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alan C. | Product Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

As a non-technical marketer, I can use and create create campaigns and emails easily. It gives me autonomy over my work and how fast I can accomplish it. Their support team is very helpful as well when I've run into roadblocks or don't understand how to use a specific feature.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Overall I think their documentation is lacking into how to actually use certain features. Their support articles say what they are, but you need to email back and forth with support to understand how to use it.

One issue that I've had a few times is duplicating blast campaigns, and the previous A/B test duplicates as well. Two times it has happened when I didn't realize it and the email went out with the wrong A/B test. They should make this more explicit - I feel it is a UX problem, not a user problem.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary benefit of Iterable for our company is creating transactional or event/trigger-based emails. It requires a developer to create the event but once that is largely done, a non-technical marketer can handle the majority of the tasks. It is great to not require the use of an email develop or agency to manage the emails.

  ### 45. A Robust, Intuitive ESP

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Country M. | Email Marketing Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is an easy to use, intuitive ESP. We are able to use Iterable automate our entire marketing program with dozens of campaigns and journeys, each with various dynamic fields and templates.

I'm impressed with amount of data Iterable is able to hold and reference.

Lastly, the customer support through the platform and through our account representative is always immediate and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

The journey capabilities could be further built out to allow things like a send limit per day (not just per minute). We sometimes have to come up with creative workarounds for features that do not exist, such as a daily send limit.

Additionally, we would like to see better alerting built into Iterable. Right now, alerting is very limited - you can't apply specific alerts to a specific campaign. We would like to see this limitation changed to avoid the need for 3rd party services.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to automate most of our email marketing campaigns. This prevents us from having to build net new emails daily in order to keep the program running. Secondly, Iterable's features allow for a lot of testing, which helps us learn about what works and does not work.

Iterable allows us to populate data in dynamic templates and fields live. This is a small feature that saves us a huge amount of time. We are able to test different versions of the email live in the platform as opposed to having to build out numerous templates and or having to send proofs to our inboxes to view different versions of dyanmic templates.

  ### 46. Iterable is Easy to Use and Powerful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mattie Y. | Email Operations Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I like the User experience and user-friendliness of Iterable and find it nice to look at generally. We also have the ability to do lots of things in different ways.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I wish you could delete profile fields and rename snippets. I would also like to be able to use dynamic lists with catalogs.

I think there could be UI improvements on the Experiment section within campaigns. It is kinda hard to click and see the different versions clearly.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to personalize our content based on things like wherever someone is free or paid, a student, a certain type of professional, etc. We have lots of control over audiences and visibility on how journeys play out for our customers.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> It's great to hear that you are enjoying the user experience and capabilities of Iterable. We have noted your feedback about the features you would like to see improved, such as the ability to delete profile fields and rename snippets, and the usability of the Experiment section. Your input helps us prioritize enhancements to better serve our users.

  ### 47. User-Friendly Segmentation and Quick Integration Impress

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Segmentation is user friendly
Integration is was quick
Journey builder is very good

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Integration with BlueConic didn’t work well
Voucher management wasn’t as seamless as expected from a marketing tool

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Omnichannel activation

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're impressed with Iterable's user-friendly segmentation and quick integration. We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you encountered with the BlueConic integration and voucher management. Your feedback is important to us, and we will work to address these issues. If you need any assistance with the integration or voucher management, please feel free to contact our support team for help.

  ### 48. Excellent Platform for Company Emails

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine B. | Content Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

Iterable is so easy to use for all of our company's needs. We use it every day for emails that we send out 5-7 times a week to various groups. When I first started, I found Iterable Academy super helpful to understand how to use the platform and implement different ideas into our emails.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

There are some kinds of features missing that I think could elevate the platform more, things like countdown timers and animated features that are eye catching in some popular emails that I receive from other businesses.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to be able to set up journeys to send out emails, push notifications, and sms all in the same journey without having to send them all separately or set them up hundreds of times each week for our emails.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> We're glad to hear that you find Iterable easy to use and that Iterable Academy has been helpful for you. We appreciate your feedback about the missing features, and we'll definitely take that into consideration for future updates.

  ### 49. Straightforward to set up journey. Could improve a lot on analytics and localizations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rasa . | CPO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

What's great is that Iterable is a big player in the market and has a few integrations with other software companies.

The journey and campaigns are easy to set up.

They have a decent academy where you can learn how to get started with the basics.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

Iterable's provided value would grow a lot if they worked on the analysis part of the campaigns and journeys.

Setting up campaigns in 12 different languages requires a lot of manual work. Customizing how you work with locales and uploading strings for other languages would help.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on improving the retention of our product. Integrating Iterable with our backend helps me send the user the right message at the right time.

  ### 50. Effective and easy to use CRM

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Iterable?**

I love the clean and simple interface, as well as the ability to duplicate campaigns and integrate SMS and email.

**What do you dislike about Iterable?**

I dislike the lack of version control and drafting options for SMS journeys. There isn’t an easy way to click “undo” or have multiple drafts in progress.

**What problems is Iterable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Iterable allows us to communicate with leads and members through email, SMS, and push in a cost effective manner. This increases our touch points and revenue per customer.

**Official Response from Deja Darrington:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback on Iterable! We're thrilled to hear that you appreciate the clean interface and the ability to duplicate campaigns. We understand your concerns about version control and drafting options for SMS journeys. Your feedback is valuable, and we will certainly take it into consideration for future updates.

It's great to hear how Iterable is benefiting your business by enhancing communication with leads and members across different channels. If you have any more suggestions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out. We're here to help!
