And when I process payroll inevitably there is ALWAYS an issue. This week bereavement leave disappeared so an employee was unable to submit. And one employee did not have his employer match for retirement go through. Issue after issue.. The initial setup was terrible and support tries to correct every week but we dont know what will go wrong the next week. Its always something new **What problems is isolved solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use isolved for payroll and time tracking. This integration is valuable because it not only improves internal HR processes but also benefits our employees by offering a cohesive platform that supports various functions such as payroll, performance management, learning development, and even acts as an ATS for our recruitment team. The consolidated platform simplifies processes and ensures that all personnel-related activities are managed within a single, integrated system. This has not only streamlined our HR operations but has also improved overall efficiency and employee satisfaction. **What do you dislike about isolved?** I find several aspects of isolved challenging. The customer service and triage system seem inefficient, as they don't respond to inquiries and questions as well as I would hope. Additionally, there are issues with PTO approvals and accruals that I feel need improvement. The onboarding experience, especially from a contractor's perspective, could greatly benefit from enhancements. These issues have necessitated ongoing work with an optimization team weekly to address various kinks and the problems faced. Moreover, the integration capabilities are lacking, as I've had to use an additional tool that unfortunately does not integrate with isolved. The initial setup process also posed challenges, as it felt somewhat archaic and cumbersome in terms of uploading information. The downside was that sometimes it was hard to tell whether I had moved too quickly while approving those changes. I also really enjoyed how fast their response rate was. **What do you dislike about isolved?** It felt very prehistoric compared to other HCMs. The lack of a mobile/app option ultimately turned us away. The links to training and help guides are also good that they are right on the dashboard. It was easy to create a mailing for the Medicare Part D within the COBRA platform. It seemed as though it took longer to upload the employee names than it did to set up the mailing. Enlisting employees in COBRA is rather easy as well. **What do you dislike about isolved?** Customer support is not very responsive. I have access to an HCM and the COBRA portal and there are a few times I was unable to log it, when I did get logged in the HCM was not available. It is also kind of strange that I need to log in using different URLs until I contacted customer service and they figured out, but this took a few days. A few days is a long time to wait to be able to log into the system. Also, there seems to be confusion who is the customer service person on our account. Customer service seems disointed and not very sure what they are doing. The response time for customer service needs to improve. **What problems is isolved solving and how is that benefiting you?** The COBRA portal is rather easy to use and is helpful to be able to do it ourselves, so we do not need a third party. ### 7. The recurring fee feels exhorbiant. Everything is a subcription. Let me buy something and leave me alone. An email and Calendar Scheduling feature integrated would really set you apart. I had to utilize 2 other platforms along with isolved to accomplish my hiring needs. Adjusting employee's timecard is difficult to edit. 3.Job Costing-Cannot block by individual state. All employees have access to other state's jobs. 4. She was so very helpful in helping renew the Tohono O'odham Nation. If she wasn't able to assist with the issue, she made sure we have the resource or contact information on how to get ahold of the correct contact. **What do you dislike about isolved?** The implementation of file feeds has taken over two years to complete. The response time to get this set up and new file feeds completed is outrageously long. **What problems is isolved solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently at this moment, none. As a small business owner, I work at night and usually process payroll after isolved hours. A question via email gets an auto-response and then takes some time (sometimes over a day) to get an answer. My most recent situation took two weeks to resolve.... a missing check! Their suggestion was for me to look more thouroughly for it in my weekly payroll package. Finally, week two... they realized that they had not included the check. Absolutely no apology whatsover! I have documentation of this. There are lots of improvements, upgrades, and additional feature becoming available **What do you dislike about isolved?** Each piece of isolved (HCM, ATS, COBRA, LMS) are essentially separate systems that are supposed to communicate to each other but often have connectivity issues. There is a large web of various reps and support staff that are quite difficult to navigate, and no one takes accountability for resolving issues. Hours can be allocated to different "jobs" or projects they are working on for their employer. The information will feed into their payroll system properly and to QBO. **What do you dislike about isolved?** Their website is a maze. They will give you training but try and onboard employees, lock their timecards, approve timecards, process payroll and run payroll reports and you will need an extensive playlist until you finally memorize which category each function lives in. After 6 months, I still need to follow my written directions. Also, the reports section is cumbersome. Their website lists far too many reports than the average payroll processor needs while other payroll services lead you to the most popular reports to run for every processing week. Simply, type in something simple, such as deduction or earning to navigate to the correct area. Your search word will help you quickly navigate. As for your reports, we can shorten your list and even make some your favorites. An excellent area is our Report Archives. This area houses your favorites and commonly used reports from each process. But if I call - there is always someone who can help. I had a great representative assigned to my account and she has always available for me and answered my emails. She let me know when she left and there's been no one as helpful as her since she left. I really don't like that when a staff member has a problem, I have to be the only one they will speak with. I don't always have the time to be the go between, when speaking with the staff member to help them - mostly the staff that are not computer literate - would take less time. Makes me feel like this is a big company with poor customer service. For example, there are three things on the menu related to benefits - why not tuck them all together under a single benefits selection? Adding time entries is a nightmare. If you forget to clock out you must notify your manager and he/she will have to go into iSolved and manually update the time stamp by first deleting the 'clock in' entry and adding a new separate time entry in the process. **Recommendations to others considering isolved:** I would really consider a different platform like ADP instead of iSolved. **What problems is isolved solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are more cons than pros with iSolved. I guess if I HAD to pick something, it is nice that all my employees for my department are assigned to me so I can see them all in one screen without having to search around. **What do you dislike about isolved?** This is a very old, very antiquated system. It is not at ALL user-friendly. I am fairly young and tech savvy but even I struggle to figure out how this program works. The system to request time off is impossible. My employees are constantly messing it up and requesting the wrong days and hours. How hard is it to set it up to just be "Request Whole Day" or "Request Half Day." Instead, they have all these options with different settings and half of them are wrong. It also makes it really hard for the employee and the supervisor to see an accurate count of PO accrual and future PO #s. Also, the reporting system sucks and is very hard to get a report that tells you exactly what you want. I just want a report to tell me how often someone is late!!! That seems like something every manager would want, but this system makes it near impossible to get that information easily. **Recommendations to others considering isolved:** Don't go with this product. There are a lot of other time management programs out there that are more up to date and will be a lot easier for your employees to use. **What problems is isolved solving and how is that benefiting you?** Honestly, I have no idea how this solves problems.
