ISMS.online offers a very user-friendly experience, especially with the big UI update in the past year, which made the platform more intuitive and modern. The platfrom is very easy to use and it can be quickly implemneted to support complinace with many different standards and frameworks. It can be configured to suit the business needs. Our company chose ISMS.Online primarily because of the way the different components integrate thus avoiding the potential duplication of effort in other solutions.

The Assured Results Method (ARM) is a very useful approach to work through what can be a complex path from commencement to compliance in a logical way.

By providing the customer with very useful pre completed content for the clauses and controls it gives you a HeadStart in their development.

I found the use of the "bank" feature to develop assets, risks etc another very useful feature.

Another useful feature is the Management Dashboard which gives everyone a simple to understand perspective on progress including areas where tasks are not meeting due dates.

Our company also achieved integration using Zapier to take identified JIRA risks automatically into ISMS.Online.

None come to mind. Any difficulties that I have had are more than likely through my initial learnings. The product is very intuitive and will benefit any company. ISMS make ingesting content for ISO 27001 and 9001 very, very easy. The links that you can do internally and review date sets with owners selected are amazing. Makes managing the system a breeze and helps with staying current and compliant. Risk / opportunity assessment is outstanding and does a great job ranking CIA. Sometimes users can get lost in the system. You can take 5 paths and end up in the same spot 4 or 5 clicks later. It can be channeling to train to as there is no one path of logic and Matthew can go left, Lauren can go right and we both end up at the same place at the end of it all. That fact that ISMS.online is cloud-based platform which is very useful - means its kept up to date and shows the latest requirements.

It helped us to achieve ISO 27001 within 6 months of starting to use the tool.

It provides useful advice information sections, per each ISO 27001 policy, demonstrating what you'd do in order to comply.

It helps our company manage information security and compliance work, and simplifies the process of becoming compliant.

The platform provides tools for risk assessment, policy management, incident tracking, and more.

We selected ISMS.Online for its simplicity, because its comprehensive, facilitates close collaboration, is audit ready and auditors understand the tool - how to move around it - the relationship links between policies, and the tool encourages continuous improvement.

We'd be lost without it given the number of compliances our organization undertakes. We use the tool everyday, have different user types - so those that can approve and undertake the work, those that are able to review, those that are readonly users of the tooling.... makes it much easier to communicate all of the policies out to end users.

Exporting materials / policies to PDF / word - not very user friendly - does not deliver consistent results - and makes it very hard to share materials with interested parties outside of the ISMS world (i.e. those interested parties tht do not have access).

Challenging when trying to set up a 'project' for yourself.

Not all of the compliance areas come with content, so you get the 'project' but no specific content which you then need to write yourself.

Difficult to send reminders to reviewers of the policies as you are not able to re-trigger a review request, say if someone has not reviewed and you need them to.... have to communicate separately.... would like a retrigger review request option.

Team lost a few of our enhancement requests, and so forgot about them - had to chase to see if the requests had been considered, being worked upon etc.

Cost of an occasional user license was way to high - consideration needs to be given to all of the user types, and relevant costing applied. (we've now negotiated a lower fee for occasional users, which makes the ability to have those occasional users review the policies much easier - and should mean we do not have to export the various policies going forward, as long as the price per user does not increase). Being new to the world of ISMS and especially new in the process of obtaining ISO certification, ISMS.online provided a great step by step guide to the individual stages of the process. The fact that the policies were templatised made it easy to adapt them to suit our small business. The support team however were what made this really useful.

Chris Gill, one of the consultants, was a fantastic help and was always available for a call to help guide us through the process. Chris made the difficult areas really easy to understand for us. There are a couple of small areas in the system that aren't as easy to navigate too, such as frameworks and projects.

My only real gripe is that in some controls it references certain features that aren't included within the softwares main package price, and we only learnt about them as we came across them within specific controls. E.g., The Policy pack feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
