The Assured Results Method (ARM) is a very useful approach to work through what can be a complex path from commencement to compliance in a logical way. By providing the customer with very useful pre completed content for the clauses and controls it gives you a HeadStart in their development. I found the use of the "bank" feature to develop assets, risks etc another very useful feature. Another useful feature is the Management Dashboard which gives everyone a simple to understand perspective on progress including areas where tasks are not meeting due dates. Our company also achieved integration using Zapier to take identified JIRA risks automatically into ISMS.Online. I also must give a vote of thanks to the support team who are always there to answer my many questions. Also the very useful information security webinars (Thanks Toby) **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** None come to mind. Any difficulties that I have had are more than likely through my initial learnings. The product is very intuitive and will benefit any company. You can take 5 paths and end up in the same spot 4 or 5 clicks later. It can be channeling to train to as there is no one path of logic and Matthew can go left, Lauren can go right and we both end up at the same place at the end of it all. That fact that ISMS.online is cloud-based platform which is very useful - means its kept up to date and shows the latest requirements. It helped us to achieve ISO 27001 within 6 months of starting to use the tool. It provides useful advice information sections, per each ISO 27001 policy, demonstrating what you'd do in order to comply. It helps our company manage information security and compliance work, and simplifies the process of becoming compliant. The platform provides tools for risk assessment, policy management, incident tracking, and more. We selected ISMS.Online for its simplicity, because its comprehensive, facilitates close collaboration, is audit ready and auditors understand the tool - how to move around it - the relationship links between policies, and the tool encourages continuous improvement. We'd be lost without it given the number of compliances our organization undertakes. We use the tool everyday, have different user types - so those that can approve and undertake the work, those that are able to review, those that are readonly users of the tooling.... makes it much easier to communicate all of the policies out to end users. Have to say, the support team (customer support) is extensive, and responds readily and helpfully in most instances. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** Exporting materials / policies to PDF / word - not very user friendly - does not deliver consistent results - and makes it very hard to share materials with interested parties outside of the ISMS world (i.e. those interested parties tht do not have access). Challenging when trying to set up a 'project' for yourself. Not all of the compliance areas come with content, so you get the 'project' but no specific content which you then need to write yourself. Difficult to send reminders to reviewers of the policies as you are not able to re-trigger a review request, say if someone has not reviewed and you need them to.... have to communicate separately.... would like a retrigger review request option. Team lost a few of our enhancement requests, and so forgot about them - had to chase to see if the requests had been considered, being worked upon etc. Cost of an occasional user license was way to high - consideration needs to be given to all of the user types, and relevant costing applied. The fact that the policies were templatised made it easy to adapt them to suit our small business. The support team however were what made this really useful. Chris Gill, one of the consultants, was a fantastic help and was always available for a call to help guide us through the process. Chris made the difficult areas really easy to understand for us. This was especially important as we were so new to the ISO process. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** There are a couple of small areas in the system that aren't as easy to navigate too, such as frameworks and projects. My only real gripe is that in some controls it references certain features that aren't included within the softwares main package price, and we only learnt about them as we came across them within specific controls. For each control, a policy template is available with detailed drafting notes for adoption. All controls (policy documents) are interlinked, rendering it easy to 'jump' from one control to another. All you need to do is click on the hyperlink for the new control you wnat to open, open it in another window and you can read the related controls side by side. The policy templates are supplemented by various other tools such as an information asset inventory, a risk area and an incident management tool. Again, each of these propose suitable wording. There is an information asset 'bank' to chose from, aas well as a 'risk bank'. For any queries, a responsive customer support is to hand. Detailed videos showcase each of the tools though we did not have to use these as the platform is quite self-explanatory. The ARM (Assured results Method) guide ensures that the ISMS is set up properly right from the start with a step-by-step guide. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** There is not much to dislike. Although ISO27001 looked daunting when we started the process the team and the portal were instrumental in guiding us through, setting up our policies, and documenting correctly. The templates on the system allowed us a company with fewer than 50 employees the ease to create and adhere to best practices to keep us compliant. As a startup, we did not have a great deal of the internal controls in general. It was extremely helpful that we were not only able to satify our ISMS, but create best practices within our company. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** It was a little difficult to become familiar with the platform. It seemed more complicated than it really was. I had a hard time getting started without in-person guidance from Toby Cane our success manager. **What problems is ISMS.online solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reaching compliance for the security standards of ISO 27001:2022 certification. Some of our clients had requested certification in ISO and we were given a 3 month deadline. We were able to be completely prepared for reaching the deadline. A timeline that was only given as possibility with ISMS.online. All of the other quotes had timelines of a minimum of 6 months to a year with prices that went even X4 the yearly cost with ISMS.online. Also the search function is good tool to find related topics. I like to have the possiblity to create my own projects when I need handbooks or areas to manage certain topics. It is super nice not to have old-fashioned documents of everything, but rather "electronic" versions of compliance proofs, management reviews etc. Latest improvements have been good too and the information shared about them. But the best: their always super happy warm polite helpful customer support staff - a chat away! **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** It takes some time to gather understanding of "where am I" in the system. I would also love to hear how other companies are utilising the system with. I'd be happy to get more flow-type of deviation handling with reminders, root cause analysis etc. In some areas I would like to have self defined fields, like links, documents, free text explanations what a project or item is for or columns. **What problems is ISMS.online solving and how is that benefiting you?** Complicated ISO 27001 compliance made prefilled, so that I only need to adapt it how we do it. I also like the ARM process and the tips and coaching that are part of every section of the standard. After using the product for several months I am very impressed with the Risk Management and Corrective Action tools. It is much better than plugging numbers into a spreadsheet. The heat mapping in multiple areas of the ISMS is also a great tool to explain issues to the masses. **What do you dislike about ISMS.online?** This is trivial, but much of the language is written in British English which means that there are numerous spelling errors to correct when processing for a US client. **What problems is ISMS.online solving and how is that benefiting you?** The product is allowing us to work more efficiently as most controls are pre-built or templated.
