Response from Barbara Viskovic of ISL Online

Angela, thank you for your valuable feedback!

We agree that the experience with Apple devices could be smoother, but this is regulated by Apple and beyond our control. For the first session with a client, ISL Light will require macOS permissions to view and control the remote desktop. To assist you and your clients, we’ve prepared a guide with screenshots on how to enable these permissions: https://help.islonline.com/19403/2481733

If you're connecting to macOS systems using unattended access, it's crucial to enable macOS permissions. We've provided a detailed guide with screenshots here: https://help.islonline.com/558310/2481668 (starting from Step 6).
