When a questionable email reaches a user's mailbox, the user is able to easily report the message to Ironscales through a button in Outlook. Makes it so easy for both the user and IT support to manage threats. I love that there is an App on my mobile phone. When a user Reports an email, I receive an alert and then can handle the resolution via my phone app. **What do you dislike about IRONSCALES?** There is nothing that comes to mind that I dislike about Ironscales - this tool has been a game changer to our organization. **What problems is IRONSCALES solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Ironscales, lots of phishing emails were reaching the user's Inbox. This was a big security risk for our organization especially being a nonprofit. We had implemented standard security controls through Microsoft 365 which helped but after implementing Ironscales almost all phishing emails were filtered and caught before they reached a user's Inbox. For a lean IT support staff, this helped us manage and resolve potential threats much quicker and easier. ### 2. We have also forged a great relationship with the vendor so we could bring ideas and product improvements to light as a Managed Security Service Provider and they hear us and actually implement some of the good recommendations. **What do you dislike about IRONSCALES?** It does require a technical resource to review the submissions and make proper decisions. **Recommendations to others considering IRONSCALES:** Make sure to have a trained security resource to review the submissions and don't count on the AI alone to help you decide what's real email and what's phishing. **What problems is IRONSCALES solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Ironscales as the main ingredient in our Managed Security Service called PhishPrevent. It has helped our customers spot, report, and prevent Email attacks and saved our customers countless dollars from having to recover from a breach. ### 3. We use Outlook mobile and the Outlook web plugin and so they are able to submit for rapid evaluation emails they question, no long wait on IT for tickets or risks missing important emails due to delays and holds. Also, the fact that it is not another in path email system means we were able to integrate it without issues. **What do you dislike about IRONSCALES?** The IronSchools still needs to grow and build out. As more of a community builds around the product we look forward to being able to share what works and does not work. Finally, end user engagement can step up more, while it is easy and fast we want to see it provide more direct engagement and encouragement to users. **Recommendations to others considering IRONSCALES:** This is a tool that works best when users are trained and it is explained to them that they are helping to protect others at their company/ team. We found that our best outcomes came when users that were good at spotting phishing started getting positive feedback on their reporting and thus helping the whole company. **What problems is IRONSCALES solving and how is that benefiting you?** IronScales has done a number of things for us including reducing the number of Phishing emails that make it to users mailboxes, removing emails that do make it from users mailboxes quickly and often without IT action, and helping users stay vigilant regarding emails. We have seen an increase in users taking the lead on reporting and acting on suspicious emails. In addition the warning banners showing up only when needed and going away or showing up based on feedback and detection means they don't become something that is seen all the time and thus ignored. ### 4. Suspicious emails are detected via various sources (including the IronScales community), and the ones that still get through can be easily reported by your users with the Report Phishing button (Outlook). Identified threats are immediately quarantined from every mailbox in your organization. You can customize the tool to fit your business's needs. The phish testing module makes it easy to organize and schedule tests in your environment and provide immediate feedback/training to your users. I've found IronScales support to be very responsive to our needs and suggestions, and they are constantly improving the product based on customer feedback. **What do you dislike about IRONSCALES?** I honestly can't really say there's anything I dislike. This is the most comprehensive tool that I've seen that meets all of our needs. The functionality does somewhat depend on your email infrastructure - so you may want to clarify what is or is not supported in your environment. **What problems is IRONSCALES solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have much greater visibility of the threats in our environment now. IronScales has allowed us to take our user training/testing to the next level. The user reporting/analysis functionality is the best solution I've seen for dealing with the emails that inevitably get past your defenses and into users' mailboxes. ### 5. But it is costly. When we first implemented, there were few companies offering this solution. **Recommendations to others considering IRONSCALES:** I would recommend working close with the vendor, making sure they know exactly what your needs are. Iron scales helped us greatly in this area. Detecting spoofs was also a bonus. The phishing text campaigns really keep my staff on their toes. **What do you dislike about IRONSCALES?** There is nothing I dislike.
