"Love iRise"
5/5
What do you like best about iRise?

Love the ability to easily collaborate/comment with other users about the simulation. iRise provides us with an opportunity to visualize requirements/design in a way the standard wire framing does not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iRise?

I would love to have more widgets at my disposal. I find myself spending a lot of time building things that maybe a widget could easily provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about iRise?

I love iRise! If you sell software, you need this tool! They really should be mentioning this in The Sprint Book as a rapid prototype tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iRise?

iRise isn't quite as sleek as Balsamiq, which has a cultural feel with the sketching, and postit notes and built in icons which are easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"iRise Simulator Review"
0.5/5
What do you like best about iRise?

iRise has a pretty robust set of features you can use to make pretty complex prototypes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iRise?

iRIse is really slow, buggy, and doesn't render on devices correctly. The interactions are not intuitive and requires the user of the program to augment their behavior to create prototypes correctly. Additionally, there is not a large community to reference if you have any questions or encounter any obstacles. You can also only open one "simulation" at one time, making it difficult to reuse elements you've used in other simulations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Dominic Infante of iRise

Hi Brenon: There are some clarifications I wanted to make regarding your feedback. My guess is that you may have been using an older version of iRise.

+ You can open as many projects at a time as you like. Just do so in a new browser tab.

+ Reusing elements is actually really easy. Right-click on any page or library element and select “copy to another project.” (a feature I believe is unique to iRise)

+ Regarding support, we’re unique in offering both chat and phone support. Our community-driven knowledgebase is also a great resource.

+ Our free mobile app on iTunes will render mobile simulations on-device just as displayed in your browser.

+ As to unique benefits with iRise, we’re the only platform with built-in requirements and user story management tools, and offer bi-directional integrations with the leading ALM tools like JIRA, JAMA, Microsoft TFS, HP ALM, etc. The level of interactivity and logic you can build with iRise is also different than most tools.

Thanks for taking the time to make the review. I understand that there’s a lot to the iRise platform, and quite a bit has changed too over the last few years.

Most other simpler tools stop at creating hotspots with transitions. iRise uses real ux elements you can interact with and build logic into. That difference can sometimes initially cause some misunderstandings.

Take care,

Dom at iRise
