**What do you like best about IRIS Practice Management?**

The interface of IRIS Practice Engine is really user-friendly that even a newbie accountant can learn to navigate the software in no time.

As an Analyst, my favourite part of this software is the tracking capability. It analyses all the input data and provides insights into the time spent on each task. We were able to slightly improve productivity after using the Practice Engine.

Overall, the software is efficient for accounting practice.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Our team require reports every day for analysis and relies on the information provided by the system-generated reports. However, at times, the reports generated by the software are cluttered, which makes it challenging to extract the required information. 

Also, when we tried generating payslips, it displayed duplicate entries a couple of times. Thus, we were not certain about the reliability of the data in the reports.

**What problems is IRIS Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We found IRIS Practice Engine to be one of the best and most cost-effective tools for Accounting Practice. We were able to automate various manual accounting tasks using the software.

It helps administrative and business solution to our organisation.
It also help with innovative and up to-date with the newest and latestst advancement technology to customers with seamless solution.

Asusual Software is highly in price wise. And should be improve in product and main  focus in communication. Iris Software Group Americas should be improvement in 360 degree area rather than particular area.

Iris Software Group Americas helps in expertise in data driven ideas, data analytics, strategic idea and tasks, Improve companies  profits advantages.
ISGS help company to follow strategic ideas, effective solution and also help in efficient way to achieve maximum output.

**What do you like best about IRIS Practice Management?**

It gives an edge over other software solutions in mining large sources of data and also the UI is quite great and user-friendly. Even a person with less hands on experience in tech would find it easy to use on a day-to-day basis.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

I would really like it to reduce it's price and have a cheaper option available, though the price absolutely covers the time that this software saves. Other than that, I donot find any such features that I dislike.

It's a software solution for business organizations that helps in administrative and business-oriented work such as HCM-based payrolls, data mining etc. It has allowed our lean team business in saving huge amounts of time and helped us become more efficient.

There customer service is really good and it's really impressive. Keep up the good work.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Nothing. When we give a rating out of 10, I will give it as 8.

Mainly we focused on the Accounting Module and they cleared it really well.

Good HCM based payroll solutions.has good profolio of clients globally.

Nothing as i found it to be flawless and futuristic.

Payroll and accounting realted issues are their main field.

**What do you like best about IRIS Practice Management?**

As a new user of 9.9, I find PE is still very user friendly. I like the expansion of billing and the new deposits module. I'm very happy with the reporting dashboard in this version.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Coming into 9.9, I've noticed a few changes I find a bit annoying. Hitting search each time to populate results will take some getting used to. In our previous version (9.6.7), results would be immediate. I like how you moved ar adjustments and WIP transfers, but I wish you could still access them from the task pad.

**What problems is IRIS Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking accurate time and generating bills in a timely manner.

Ability to data mine, really no limit on what can be extracted

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Need to update frequently which costs a lot of consulting time and with forks being customized, more times than no things break in thr process so it it a round and round process.

**What problems is IRIS Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They said they are staffing up so if they do, they can address things more frequently and hopefully get things right the first time and on time.

For us, ability to get things out to make informed business decisions.

Excited about the software being web based.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Difficult implementation and not fully complete. Have high hopes for it once everything with implementation is complete.
Reporting could be improved.

The decision to switch was mainly that software was web based and had higj hopes for reporting.

The user interface is manageable for tech savvy people and those with little tech ability

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

It's challenging to transfer WIP from the client dashboard in 9.9. I also feel the take on process could be optimized for more flexibility.

Our firm includes a lot of customizations that practice engine is doing their best to accommodate.

**What do you like best about IRIS Practice Management?**

Practice Engine is pretty easy to use and figure out where things are located. If you have a fairly good understanding of accounting firm time management (e.g. Practice CS, Timeslips) and project workflow systems (e.g. GFR) you can work in Practice Engine.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

I am not a big fan of the admin reports available and the ability to use these reports to update client information in batches. There are limits on how you can sort information once you run a report and want to use it to update/rollover client data to another year. The billing module is great and flexible but is very labor-intensive. You must manually save bills with the invoice numbering and client's/customer's name, instead of the PE system presenting the invoice number and client's/ customer's name at the Save As dialog box...a lot of things must be done manually.

**Recommendations to others considering IRIS Practice Management:**

Practice Engine works mostly and does what you need, but I would just consider all options before committing to Practice Engine.

**What problems is IRIS Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing is more flexible Practice Engine and both departments in my company can use the system. Previously, each major department had separate billing and timekeeping systems.

One of the greatest features what i like is it gets the data updated in timely manner and at the same time we can share it with the client managers to review and rate it.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Nothing part of this tool which i didn't like. It is the good tool available in todays market with lots of positivity around to share the data in a fluke with no concerns

**What problems is IRIS Practice Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data sharing and reviewing was two of the things which i personally did and i really loved the response of it with great features and it really helps the data to be structured.

It has a simple layout and easy to navigate around

The fact it sends out multiple emails when a payslip is generated for an employee, if there is a server error it will delete all old payslips never to be retrieved again

Find something else

None I think we need to look for a new payroll system

I like that all your services are in the same place and link together. Changing details is very quick as it's all linked.

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

The price is very high but it equals out when you look at the time you save.

If you want it all under the same roof then go for iris

VAT filer was a big life saver during the MTD roll out.

  ### 15. Good tool for a firm to collect employees’ time data and do analyses

**What do you like best about IRIS Practice Management?**

Here is how my firm does it: the IT department set up time code for each project and we only need to pick from the drop down menu to record our time to each project. And of course the project names are key work searchable. So I found this to be helpful to the firm to standardize and unify time codes, which will in turn makes it easier for the firm to analyze the time data. There is timer function to help you track time if you know you will not be sidetracked. 

**What do you dislike about IRIS Practice Management?**

Not dislike, but it could be helpful if employees could run some charts to visualize and analyze our time and maybe compare the actual to budget. I’m sure the firm can do all the analyses through Practice Engine, but sometimes employees want to see how we are doing too and would like to dig further in our time. But full disclosure, it could be my firm did not purchase the module or I didn’t explore the software enough. 

**Recommendations to others considering IRIS Practice Management:**

I have not been on the firm’s position to look at all the time data collected, but I’m sure PE provides a handy way to analyze employees’ time, which can be very helpful to service providing firms such as accounting and law firms.

Collect employees’ time data, unify coding, and easily analyze the data to make business decisions.
