Still, I think it’s a solid tool for beginners and a good place to start. **What problems is IrfanView solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to resize image resolution for my side business, and I’ve also used it in the past for marketing POP materials. ### 2. I use it on my computers as the default image viewer. It has translation for my language (Portuguese - Brazil), and it serves to open practically any type of file. **What do you dislike about IrfanView?** Some editing features are missing, and often I can't find a function. The visual is very characteristic of the 90s, it deserves a modernization with more buttons and icons for the main functions. **What problems is IrfanView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Open any image file extensions and even videos. I can practically view anything in IrfanView. ### 3. The portable version is good but doesn't have all the functions. **What do you dislike about IrfanView?** The user interface is like Windows 98. Sometimes the Mac version stops working. I already have IrfanView detected as a virus by McAfee software, a false positive. **What problems is IrfanView solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use IrfanView on all the computers the students use, and it is available to all the users (teachers). The preview function is an invaluable resource for viewing cross-platform images like web development. **What do you dislike about IrfanView?** The use of some advanced features (panorama, collage, labels) is not simple and intuitive. The program has an outdated design that might deter some users. **What problems is IrfanView solving and how is that benefiting you?** I mainly use it as a simple image viewer and editor to modify resolution, color spectrum, sharpness, brightness, filter, and other effects. IrfanView can also, although with some limitations, replace other advanced specialized programs. ### 7. Program works very fast. **What do you dislike about IrfanView?** That roller for mouse is for opening of next file. Will be better use it for changing of scale for drawing. And also will be great if you will add button "hand" for moving of drawing. **Recommendations to others considering IrfanView:** If it's possible modify it a littel bit. **What problems is IrfanView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Fast working during opening of big drawings. ### 8.
