Their biggest advantage is that it helps us to keep connected to IRC channels, even when the users are offline. Hence, conversations won't be missed. Also, I like their clean interface, and it has a reliable message history; it also has the ability to access the chat seamlessly. Notifications are also well handled; their platform also feels safe and lightweight. **What do you dislike about IRCCloud?** This platform is still tied to IRC; sometimes, this platform can also feel a bit outdated compared to other modern collaboration tools. This UI design is though functional, it needs more polishing. Their integration and advanced collaboration features are a bit minimal. This is not project management ot business workflows focused, this all-in-all solution feels bit limited. **What problems is IRCCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** IRCCloud solves the problem of effectively getting connected to IRC networks without having a local client. This is very useful for our developer teams and tech communities. It's easy to use, works on any device, and has great user-friendly interface. Also it offers good security and allows us to search through chat history easily. **What do you dislike about IRCCloud?** What I dislike about IRCCloud is that some advanced features are behind a paywall, which might not be ideal for everyone. Also it sometimes becomes slow to load, especially while working with a large number of channels and messages. **What problems is IRCCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps in staying connected to IRC chat without having to be online all the time. This is useful because it ensures we don't miss any important messages or conversations. It's extremely easy to use for clients who aren't used to this kind of thing, and they can access it from tablets, phone and desktop. It's lightweight in terms of management, which is always nice. **What do you dislike about IRCCloud?** I'm not sure this is a real complaint, but the Team version lacks some of the more premium features of Slack, but then again, it's about half the price. For the price, I don't think one can complain. **Recommendations to others considering IRCCloud:** Start with IRCCloud and see if it works for you, before going after more trendy platforms that cost more. **What problems is IRCCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** A persistent chat room is extremely useful because conversations are stored and are accessible in reverse chronological order. This means that when you step away for lunch, dinner, sleep or whatever, it's still there and the conversation keeps going.
