Used to get the country of an IP. **What do you dislike about ipstack?** Last week there was a '503 service unavailable' issue for some hours. I sent an email to support (which doesn't even have a proper ticketing system) and haven't had a reply, so we've gone elsewhere. Avoid. Have lost pwd. The 'forgot pwd' button doesn't do anything. Again, nothing from support so can't send screenshot to show I'm a current user **What problems is ipstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** Obtaining the country of an IP to display the user's flag ### 2. Support hasn't replied in almost 2 months after changing price of our subscription without asking **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Christian S. | Film Composer / Sound Designer / Sound Editor / Re-Recording Mixer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2023 **What do you like best about ipstack?** The features - it works reasonably fine. **What do you dislike about ipstack?** They increased the price of our subscription over night and started charging our card the increased amount without ever getting approval from us on the price increase, nor giving any heads up so we could. Asked support for a refund, but they haven't gotten back to us in almost 2 months now. The only reply we received was an automated "is your issue still unresolved?" - yes, since nobody ever replied or addressed the issue, obviously it's still unresolved. The fact that we have to communicate via a public review in order to, hopefully, get attention, should tell you all you need to know about whether you should trust your business with this company. **What problems is ipstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used it to resolve IP addresses to location information.
