I have found the migration service to be the most helpful part of the platform. I’ve worked on several client sites that have had some form of an e-store and iPresta (PrestaShop) has most of not all of the major platforms in mind when it comes to receiving customers from those products. It’s not for any developer to be honest. While customizations can be made, they come at the expense of not truly doing them yourself. They have a dedicated team to handle that sort of thing, so if you can do it yourself, though it is more seamless in staff support, I don’t like giving up so much control whereas another platform may provide that opportunity at the cost of you buying more plugins, etc. to make it happen.
